1.Serum Levels and Clinical Significance of Interferon-λ1 in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Patients

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of serum interferon-λ1(IFN-λ1) levels in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods ELBA was used to evaluate the serum level of interferon-λ1 in 60 patients with SLE and 20 healthy individuals as normal control.SPSS10.0 statistic software was employed to investigate the relation between the serum IFN-λ1 level,the laboratory index and SLE disease activity index(SLEDAI).Results The serum IFN-λ1 level in SLE patients(74.2±16.1 pg/ml) was higher than that of the normal controls(70.4±12.6 pg/ml,P=0.339).The serum IFN-λ1 level in SLE patients with leucopenia(80.1±18.1 pg/ml) was higher than those of the normal control(P=0.052) and the SLE patients without leucopenia(70.6±13.7 pg/ml,P=0.024).The serum IFN-λ1 level was not correlated with SLEDAI,complements C3,C4,24-hour-proteinuria.Conclusion IFN-λ1 may be involved in the pathogenesis of leukopenia in SLE and it has not been proved that its level was correlated with the disease activity.
3.Clinical Observation of Acupuncture Therapy for Postherpetic Neuralgia

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture therapy for postherpetic neuralgia in the elders. Methods: Twenty-four cases of postherpetic neuralgia were randomized into two groups, an acupuncture group in which 12 cases were treated by acupuncture at Jiaji (Ex-B 2) on the diseased side, and a medication group in which 12 cases were treated by oral obtundent and intramuscular injection of neurotrophic drugs. Results: After four-week treatments, the total effective rate was 91.6% in the acupuncture group and 83.3% in the medication group. Conclusion: Acupuncture can significantly relieve postherpetic neuralgia, with better effects than medication.
4.Correlation studies between TLR-2, TLR-4 and inflammatory response of rat corneal alkali burn

Objective To dynamically observe the expressions of Toll like-receptor 2 (TLR-2),TLR-4 and inflammatory cytokine IL-1 beta and TNF alpha,and analyze the correlation between TLR-2,TLR-4 and inflammatory response on rat cornea alkali burn.Methods Forty SPF healthy SD rats were excluded the anterior segment disease,the right eye was set as burn experiment and the left eye as normal control,Ⅲ level corneal alkali burn model was established with concentration of 1 mol · L-1 NaOH(At the establishment and after the establishment of the model,the inconsistent degree of corneal bums,the corneal perforation and hyphema in rats,etc.,were removed,and finally randomly selected 32 eligible rats),then were randomly grouped into 3 days,7 days,14 days and 21 days group,8 eyes in each group.The rats were observed and photographed anterior segment of each group,evaluated the corneal inflammation index,then removed the eyeball of the rats in the corresponding time points.The eyeballs were made into pathological tissue section and stained with HE method.The number of inflammatory cells in the cornea was calculated,and the expression of TLR-2,TLR-4,IL-1 beta and TNF alpha was detected in the rat cornea with method of Western blot protein detection at the same time.The differences of each group were analyzed,and the correlation was assessed between TLRs and inflammatory factor.Results There were the expressions of TLR-2,TLR-4,IL-1 beta and TNF alpha in the normal rat cornea,and its expressions were gradually increased after alkali burn,reached the peak at the 7 days,then decreased gradually,the difference of each group (the 3 day,the 7 day,the 14 day,the 21 day) was statistically significant (all P < 0.05).The expressions of TLR-2 and IL-1 beta (r =0.986,P < 0.05),TNF alpha (r =0.986,P < 0.05) were positive correlated.The expressions of TLR-4 and IL-1 beta(r =0.975,P < 0.05),TNF alpha (r =0.990,P <0.05) were positive correlated.Conclusion TLRs participates and may start immune inflammatory response after corneal alkali burn,mediates the production of inflammatory cytokine.
5.Necessity and Suggestions to Including Infantile Tuina Acupoints in TCM International Standard Terminologies

In recent years, many versions of international standard terminologies on TCM have been established and enacted by different authoritative organizations worldwide. However, infantile tuina acupoints have never been included in them. The article illustrated the necessity of including infantile tuina acupoints in the international standard terminologies on TCM from the aspects of history, present state and specificity of these points. It also pointed out some problems of infantile tuina acupoints, such as different records of acupoints numbers, applications in the clinic and strategies applied in their English translation, and suggestions were provided accordingly, hoping that the infantile tuina acupoints can be included in the further revised versions of international standard terminologies on TCM.
6.Thoughts About Current Medical Professional Ethics Education

Nowadays the education of medical professional ethics has been obviously weakened.We can see that from some mainly expressions: There are many prejudices about medical ethics and the medical ethics education seems not very effective.But the medical professional ethics education is an important part of medical education,which directly affects the healthy development of medical and hygienic enterprise.And we must correct it,enhance it.We should inherit the good quarters of traditional medical ethics,reestablish the humanism medicine,promote virtue of medical personnel increasing,and establish the professional ethics of medical students before they become doctors.
7.New progress of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody therapy for children with idiopathic refractory nephrotic syndrome

Idiopathic Refractory Nephrotic Syndrome (IRNS) has been an intractable problem in clinical treatment .Anti CD20 monoclonal antibody is a new type of immunosuppressive agent , which can induce the lysis and apoptosis of B cells .Significant-ly, it improves the prognosis of IRNS patients .In recent years, a number of case studies and clinical trials have been conducted on the effectiveness of anti CD20 monoclonal antibody in the treatment of children with IRNS .In this paper, the mechanism, clinical applica-tion, adverse effects and problems in the study of anti CD 20 monoclonal antibody in IRNS will be reviewed .
8.Comparison of several common detection indexes of cell senescence

Cell senescence is a state of irreversible growth arrest, which can be triggered by a variety of different cellular stress. Currently, the detection indexes involved in the study of cell senes?cence include senescence-associated β-galactosidase, telomeres and telomerase, senescence-associ?ated heterochromatin foci, senescence-associated secretory phenotype, reactive oxygen species, and tumor suppressor genes p53 and p16. These indexes are widely used in the study of cell senescence, each with its own characteristics or advantages. This review summarizes several common cell senes?cence indexes and compares their accuracy, credibility, specificity, and potential applications.
9.Effect of capsaicin on micturition in chronic spinal male rats

Objective: To compare normal rat and rat with chronic spinal cord injury (SCI) with CMG and EUS after intravesical capsaicin or given s.c to determine the role of capsaicin-sensitive bladder afferents in micturition. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats, normal or with spinal cord transection at the level of T 9-10 . CMG and EUS-EMG tests were carried out before and after administration of capsaicin intravesically or s.c 8 weeks after SCI. Results: Capsaicin given subcutaneously induced the nonvoiding bladder contractions in normal rats. After administration rats had large voiding volume(VV) and residual volme (RV) ,voiding efficiency(VE) was decreased ,but micturing press(MP) was not affected. Intravesical capsaicin also decreased VE with the MP non affected. In SCI rats the nonvoiding bladder contractions induced by infusion of saline before voiding can be eliminated by capsaicin (125 mg/kg s.c) .But intravesical capsaicin can inhibit the reflex bladder contraction in SCI rats. Conclusion: The data indicated the capsaicin sensitive bladder afferents take part in the initiation of reflex micturition in both normal and SCI rats .In normal rats activity in the capsaicin sensitive fibers initiated by bladder filling keep the compliance of bladder .In SCI rats these afferents do contribute to hyperactivity of the bladder during the filling phase of the CMG.
10.Application of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation for sleep disordered breathing in China.

After more than 30 years of development, noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) has become one of the main treatments of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) in the world. It is the wide application of this technology that makes breakthrough in SDB treatment, and has given rise to a new interdisciplinary area sleep medicine. In China, sleep medicine started in late of 1980's, in recent years, with the development of economy and the improvement of recognization, the application of NPPV in Chinese market has become one of the fastest growing in the world. NPPV technology also extends gradually to the treatments of patients with respiratory failure due to different causes, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome and COPD.
