International Journal of Surgery 2011;38(10):710-714
Xenotransplantation can probably overcome the critical shortage of human organ donors for clinical transplantation.Recently, research progresses in the biology of xenograft rejection and zoonotic infections, and the generation of α1,3-galactosyltransferase-deficient pigs have moved this approach closer to clinical application, but immunological rejection is also the primary barrier in the study of xenotransplantation. This review sumarries the research progress of immunological rejection of xenotransplantation, providing some advices for the future of clinical xenotransplantation.

Isoliquiritigenin (ISL) is a flavonoid compound isolated from licorice. It possesses excellent antioxidant and anti-diabetic activities. This study aims to investigate the molecular mechanism underlying the alleviatory effect of ISL on energy metabolism imbalance caused by type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). 8-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were used in

Isoliquiritigenin (ISL) is an active chalcone compound isolated from licorice. It possesses anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities. In our previous study, we uncovered a great potential of ISL in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Therefore, this study aims to reveal the mechanism underlying the alleviatory effects of ISL on T2DM-induced glycolipid metabolism disorder. High-fat-high-sugar diet (HFD) combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) were used to establish T2DM mice model. All animal experiments were carried out with approval of the Committee of Ethics at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. HepG2 cells were used in

Chinese Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2021;15(1):47-51
Objective:To explore the tracing effect of nano-carbon in the cervical lymph nodes of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and the guiding role of the dissection strategy of the contralateral lymph nodes. Methods:The medical records of 516 patients with PTC in Department of Endocrine and Breast Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from Jan. 2013 to Dec. 2017, including cN0 patients (436 cases) and cN1 patients (80 cases) , were retrospectively analyzed. There were 137 males and 379 females, the male to female ratio was 1.00:2.76. During the operation, nano-carbon was used to trace lymph nodes, and the number of lymph nodes in each lateral area (area II, III, IV) was collected, and the rate of black stained and non-black stained lymph node metastasis (LNM) was calculated based on the postoperative pathological results. SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for analysis, t test was used for measurement data, and χ2 test was used for count data. Results:In 436 patients with cN0, the black-stained LNM rate in zone II ( P=0.002) , the black-stained LNM rate in zone III ( P=0.000) , and the black-stained LNM rate in zone IV ( P=0.002) were higher than those of non-black stained LNM. The rate of black-stained LNM in 80 cN1 patients (Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) was also higher than that of non-black-stained LNM (0.011, 0.019, 0.015) . The rate of black-stained LNM in cN0 patients affected the LNM in areas Ⅱ and Ⅳ ( P=0.000, P=0.000) . In patients with cN1, the black-stained LNM rate in zone Ⅲ had an effect on zone Ⅱ (0.030) ; it had no effect on the black-stained LNM rate in zone Ⅳ (0.315) . Conclusion:The black-stained LNM rate of the posterior zone (zone Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) with nano-carbon can represent the LNM rate of the lateral zone and help guide the lymph node dissection in the lateral zone. In addition, the black-stained LNM rate of zone Ⅲ can affect zone Ⅱ. The LNM rate in zone IV has the role of sentinel lymph nodes in the lateral zone.

International Eye Science 2010;10(8):1467-1468
AIM:To evaluate the availability and our experience of intraoperative image-guidance in endoscopic nasocular operation.METHODS:Seven cases of endoscopic nasal surgery with intraoperative image-guidance were retropectively reviewed, including 3 cases of optic nerve injury;3 cases of foreign object of optic behind the eyeball;1 case of retrobulbar tumor(angeioma).RESULTS:The preoperative preparatory time would take 15 minutes, including coordination, head holder localization, conventional instrument registration. In our cases, the localization accuracy between 3-D image landmarks of navigation system and actual anatomical landmarks was less than 1.3mm.The optic nerve and other anatomical points could be orientated accurately in intraoperative procedures. No complication occurred.CONCLUSION:Nasal endoscope combined with imageguidance systems provides accurate anatomical localization of anterior skull base with enlarged operation field. It is possible for surgeons to observe important anatomical structures during endoscopic surgery. It could increase the effectiveness and decrease surgical complications, especially in complicated cases.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To compare the humoral immunity features of acute glomerulonephritis and nephritic syndrome(NS) in children for earlier differential diagnosis and rational administration. Methods Nephelometry was used to determinate the serum level of immunoglobulin(Ig)G,IgA,IgM,C3,C4 in children by England MININEPH machine and correlated reagent. The serum level of IgE was determined by IgE enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),assay ELISA kit of America E&ELABSINC company. Immunoturbidimetry and westergren method were used to detect anti-streptolysin O(ASO) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),respectively. Results There were significant diffe-rence features of humoral immunity between acute glomerulonephritis and NS in children.IgG,IgA,IgE,C3,C4 had significant difference between acute glomerulonephritis children and healthy children(Pa

Immunological rejection is the major barrier to successful transplantation. The immune response to an allograft is an ongoing dialogue between the innate and adaptive immune system that will lead to the rejection of allograft.Activation of elements of the innate immune system, triggered as a consequence of tissue injury sustained during cell isolation or organ retrieval and ischemia reperfusion, will initiate and amplify the adaptive response.Identifying the molecular pathways that trigger tissue injury, signal transduction and rejection facilitates the identification of targets for the development of immunosuppressants.

Induction of immune tolerance is characterized by high efficiency, low toxicity and economic advantages, and immune tolerance has very important significance in organ transplantation. In the establishment of immune tolerance, dendritic cells (DCs) play the key roles such as clonal deletion or clonal anerge, expressing t-cell inhibiting factors, activating helper T cells electively and inducing regulatory T cells, especially CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells,etc.Similarly,CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells whose primary target point is dendritic cell also have various functions such as affecting dendritic cells'maturing, restraining dendritic cells'antigen presentation to T cells, inhibiting the activation of T cells in non-specific ways and inducing immune tolerance.Current research shows, dendritic cells and CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells regard each other as target point and work synergetically. Here we mainly discuss the function and interaction of dendritic cells and CD4 + CD25 + regulatory T cells in the immune tolerance.
