Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(4):41-42
In application of the bone-setting Tuina therapy plus acupuncture on Jiaji ( Ex-B 2 ), Tianzong ( SI11), Jianyu (LU 15), Quchi (LI 11), Waiguan (TE5)and Hegu ( LI 4) in the treatment of 8 cases of protrusion of cervical intervertebral disc, all the symptoms disappeared and the movements were free after treatments in the patients.

Objective To compare the influence of open access journals ( OAJ ) of biomedicine on academic exchanges by empirically analyzing the journals enrolled in the Chinese science citation database-the core (CSCD-C).Methods Multivariate statistical analysis was performed on OAJ and non OAJ in CSCD by using bibliometric and statistical methods,SPSS software and rank-sum test. Results The OAJ were accounted for only 31.63% of the total enrolled journals, the average ratio of funded papers in OAJ was 72.29%.Statistical journals had high influence in the discipline. The selfcitation rates of clinical medicine OAJ and special medical OAJ were high. The average impact factor and h index in biological OAJ were high. The average impact factor of preventive medicine OAJ was high. The average h index of comprehensive non OAJ was high. Conclusions The distribution of OAJ is uneven among different disciplines. The ratio of funded papers is higher in OAJ than in non OAJ with insignificant differences in discipline influence.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of pathogenic bacteria/the drug resistance/the correlated risk fators/the prophylaxis control strategy of the severe craniocerebral injury patients combined with intracranial infection .Methods The clinical data of 35 craniocerebral injury patients with intracranial infection were retrospectively analyzed .Results 35 patients′cerebrospinal fluid were separated and 54 pathogenic bacterium had been cultured ,including G+ bacterium(61 .11% ) ,the G - bacteria(33 .33% ) , fungi(5 .56% ) .The pathogenic bacteria showed a higher resistance .The single factor analysis found that the wound itself exists in-fection factors ,the postoperative drainage of incision ,liquorrhoea ,with other basic diseases ,surgery lasted for a long time (>4 h) reoperative ,surgery is placed foreign body is severe craniocerebral trauma combined with intracranial infection were the main rele-vant factors .The total effective rate was 62 .86% ,and the mortality was 11 .43% by the positive therapy .Conclusion G+ bacteria were the main pathogenic bacterium in the severe craniocerebral injury patients combined with intracranial infection .The iatrogenic factors leaded to the increase of the proportion of intracranial infection and the resistance increased year after year .The clinical in-travenous antibiotics combined intrathecal injections were beneficial to control intracranial infection ,shorten the course of treatment and enhance the curative effect .

BACKGROUND: Many studies have suggested that artificial joint replacement has a greater advantage in the treatment of cases of elderly osteoporosis, comminuted fractures and unable to internal fixation or failure of internal fixation. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the curative effect of cemented artificial femoral head arthroplasty for treatment of elderly unstable intertrochanteric fracture. METHODS: Totaly 18 patients with unstable intertrochanteric fracture, aged>75 years, were enroled and underwent cemented artificial femoral head arthroplasty. At 3 months after replacement, the curative effect was evaluated according to the Harris hip joint function score method. The early complications after replacement and long-term complications of prosthesis were observed by folow-up. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al these 18 patients were folowed up for 13 to 34 months, and had no infections, pressure sores, femoral shaft fractures and other complications. X-ray films showed that the frauture healed wel, without prosthesis infection, dislocation, loosening, sinking and breaking. After 3 months of replacement, al patients returned to pre-injury level of walking function. The curative effect was excelent for eight cases, good for seven cases, fair for two cases, poor for one case. These results demonstrate that cemented artificial femoral head arthroplasty for treatment of elderly unstable intertrochanteric fracture has good biocompatibility and stability, and can restore the limb function of patients.

International Eye Science 2014;(8):1502-1503
AIM: To study the clinical characteristics of corneal perforation ( CP) .
METHODS:A retrospective analysis in July 1995 to July 2010 the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University diagnosed CP 72 patients ( 72 eyes ) , clinical characteristics of all the patients were analyzed.
RESULTS: The incidence of corneal ulcer perforation rised year by year, the morbidity of male and female was 17:7, the onset age focused on 48 years old. Of 23 industrial workers ( 32%) with clear history of trauma, pathogeny identification results:top two:fungal infection and Acanthamoeba keratitis. A using history of glucocorticoid was found in 10 cases.
CONCLUSION:There are plenty of primary causes of CP such as traumas, fungal infection, Acanthamoeba keratitis, eroded keratitis, etc. CP happens in middle-aged males in Fujian province, most traumas are the causes, the main pathogenic bacteria is fungal infection.
