1.Research Advance in Relationship between Environmental Estrogens and Disorders of Male Sex Differentiation
Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
The reproductive toxicity of environmental estrogens(EEs)has become an extensively studied subject in environmental science and reproductive medicine nowadays. Many epidemiology data and experimental evidences indicated that EEs may significantly cause the disorders of male sex differentiation such as microphallus, hypospadia, cryptorchidism and masculinization behavior disorder and so on.The mechanism includes estrogenic activity,anti-androgenic activity as well as other feedback regulation and signal transmission which influence hormones metabolism.

5. Retrospective study of 125 patients with Takayasu arteritis
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(8):932-936
Objective: To study the clinical features, image findings, therapeutic strategies, and prognosis of adult and juvenile patients with Takayasu arteritis (TA). Methods: The clinical data of 125 patients with TA were retrospectively studied. Results: There were 108 female and 17 male patients. The mean age of onset was (26.9±11.0) years and 31 patients were younger than 18 years at onset. Constitutional symptoms, pulse deficit, and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) were present in 38.4%, 71.2%, and 49.6% of patients, respectively. Compared with adult patients, the incidences of constitutional symptoms, pulse deficit and elevated ESR were lower in juveniles(P<0.05). Angiographic findings showed that Type I(40%), Type IV (20.8%) and Type V (30.4%) were common, and Type IIa (4.8%), Type IIb (1.6%) and Type III (2.4%) were seldom seen. Type I was more frequently seen in adult patients than in juveniles(P<0.05). Biopsy findings of 12 patients with quiescent disease showed active lesions in 7 patients. Eighty patients were followed up for a median duration of 36 months. Glucocorticoid was prescribed to 58 patients; cytotoxic agents were required for 16 of them; and remission was achieved in 57 patients. Bypass and endovascular interventional procedures were performed in 36 and 21 patients, respectively. Restenosis occurred in 34.7% of bypass procedures and 77.3% of endovascular interventional procedures. Conclusion: Diminished pulse is rarely seen in juvenile TA patients than in adults. Active vascular disorders may exist in patients with stable clinical manifestations. The incidence of restenosis is higher in endovascular interventional procedures than in bypass procedures.

Objective To optimize the extracting condition of total isoflavones from Fructus Sophorae by subcritical water extraction. Methods Taking isoflavones yield as index and genistin as control, the technology parameter of subcritical water extraction of Fructus Sophorae isoflavones was optimized by single factor and orthogonal experiment. Results The yield of Fructus Sophorae total isoflavones in the extracts was 23.3% at 130 ℃ for 45 min with the liquid-solid ratio of 12.5 mL/g.Conclusion Compared with traditional extracting methods, subcritical water extraction is a new developing technology in recent years. Its advantage is fast,good-selective.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(8):793-795,804
Objective To study the correlation between normal level of thyroid hormone and gensini coronary scor-ing system. Methods Coronary heart disease patient who were treated with Cardio-angiography (CAG) (n=231) were divid-ed into 4 groups based on gensini coronary score. All the patients were examined with indexes include total triiodothyronine (TT3), total thyronine(TT4), free thyronine(FT4), free triiodothyronine (FT3), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). And correla-tion between thyroid hormone level and gensini coronary scoring system was studied by Spearman correlation analysis and Multiple regression analysis. Results No significant difference was found in the levels of TT3, TT4, FT4, Cholesterol(CHO) and Triglyceride(TG) between the all 4 groups (P>0.05). FT3 and HDL-C decreased with the increase of extent of coronary artery lesions(P<0.01), and AGE and LDL-C raised with the coronary artery lesions extent (P<0.05). Gensini coronary scoring system was linearly negatively correlated with FT3, HDL-C and positively correlated with age and LDL-C. Age, FT3,HDL-C,LDL-C was independently correlated to Gensini score. Conclusion The lower level of FT3 is an indepen-dent risk factor for CHD.

The content of benzyl isothiocyanate (BITC) which as the enzymatic hydrolysis product of benzyl glucosinolate through thioglucosidase was determined by HPLC. The content of benzyl isothiocyanate (BITC) which as the enzymatic hydrolysis product of benzyl glucosinolate through thioglucosidase was determined by HPLC. The chromatography condition was as follows: Kaseisorb LC ODS 2000 (4.6 mm x 150 mm, 5 min) column with the mobile phase of acetonitrile(A)-water( B) under gradient elution (0-5 min, 3%-8% A; 5-9 min, 8%-48% A; 9-23 min, 48%-62% A; 23-28 min, 62%-99% A); the flow rate was 1.0 mL x min(-1) with 10 microL injection volume; detection wavelength was 246 nm and temperature of column was 40 degrees C. The content of benzyl glucosinolate was in the range of 10.76-17.91 g x L(-1). The method is simple, accurate and good reproducibility which can be used for the determination of benzyl glucosinolate in Lepidium meyenii, effectively.

OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents in antioxidant activity part of Semiaquilegia adoxoides. METH-ODS:The antioxidant activity part of S. adoxoides were isolated and purified by chromatography on silicagel and Sephadex LH-20 column, and compound structures were identified physicochemical properties and spectral data analysis. RESULTS:Nine com-pounds were isolated from the antioxidant activity part of S. adoxoides, namely magnoflorine (1),griffonilide (2),salidroside (3),ferulic acid(4),genistein(5),2,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid(6),chlorogenic acid(7),caffeic acid(8)and p-coumaric acid (9). CONCLUSIONS:The study confirms the active material basis in antioxidant activity part of S. adoxoides for the first time.
