International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(11):1379-1381
Objective To explore the antagonistic effect of Schistosoma japonicum soluble adult worm antigen (SWA)and solu-ble egg antigen (SEA)in the mice with type 1 diabetes. Methods The 24 successful modeling type 1 diabetes mice were randomly divided into three groups (A,B,C group,n=8).SWA and SEA of Schistosoma japonicum were prepared.Mice in A group were immunized by abdominal subcutaneous multi-point injection SWA.Mice in B group were immunized by abdominal subcutaneous multi-point injection SEA.And mice models of C group were immunized by PBS instead of antigen through abdominal subcutaneous injection. The mice got immunization once a week,a total of four times.4 weeks later, the mice were sacrificed, and serum speci-mens were collected for the determination of serum levels of IL-4 and IFN-γby double-antibody sandwich ELISA,while pancreas tissues were collected and the pathological changes were observed. Results The serum IL-4 level of B group [(23.87 ±4.85)pg/mL]was higher than C group [(4.39 ± 0.56 )pg/mL],with significant differences (P < 0.01 ),while the serum IFN-γ level [(271.85±26.04)pg/mL]was lower than C group [(362.79 ±32.50)pg/mL],also with significant differences (P <0.01).The serum IL-4 and IFN-γof A group were (5.09±0.37)pg/mL and (379.56±34.47)pg/mL,which had no difference with C group (P >0.05).The islet structure of mice in B group was not intact, however, the lymphocytic infiltration in B group was less than C group, and there was no lymphocytic infiltration in pancreatic islets in B group.Compared with C group, the pancreas of mice in A group did not have significant changes, lymphocytes infiltration was still visible in islets. The number of residual islet cells de-creased,and visible minority islet structure was destroyed. Conclusion SEA of Schistosoma japonicum has certain antagonism effect on type 1 diabetes in experimental mice. Its mechanism may be the reduction of Th1 response and the enhancement of Th2 response through increasing IL-4 level and decreasing IFN-γlevel.
2.The role and progress of interventional therapy in the prevention and treatment of postoperative hepatocellular carcinoma recurrence
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(11):-
The articles concerning intensive effect and progress of interventional therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recurrence were comprehensively reviewed. Along with unceasing abundance of all interventional methods (including transcatheter arterial chemoemblization (TACE),percutaneous dehydrated ethanol injection, radio frequency ablation, percutaneous microwave therapy,argon-helium cryoablation,high-intensity focused ultrasound and radionuclide interventional therapy, etc),combined interven-tional therapies mainly TACE were increasingly appreciated in postoperative HCC recurrence, but still have to be further standardized. With further emerging and maturing of new technologies, such as antiangiogenesis, gene therapy and targeted therapy on HCC metastatic and recurrence specific cycle; the effect of combined therapy will be further promoted. Interventional therapy will play an important role in the prevention and treatment of postoperative HCC recurrence in the foreseen furture.

6.The application and outlook of Chinese drugs in the interventional treatment of liver carcinoma
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(06):-
The interventional therapy of chemoembolization is the first management of choice in treating unresectable hepatic carcinomas but with some side effects including liver function damage and bone marrow restraints which may affect the patients'life expectancy and living quality in the long run.The advancement of the combination of interventional treatment with Chinese drugs in managing liver carcinomas is a special presentation by the auther for further recommondation.
7.Observation on the effect of plasmin combined with aspirin in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(10):1502-1503
Objective To observe the clinical effect of plasmin combined with aspirin in treating acute cerebral infarction and to explore the influence to blood rheology and nerve function. Methods 148 cases with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (n =74) was treated by honghua injection. The study group (n =74) was treated by plasmin combined with aspirin. After treatment, the clinical effect, blood rheology and neurological recovery were observed. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 97.2%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(74.3%) (x2 =15.88,P < 0.05).The blood rheology indexes of the two groups had improved and neural function of the two groups was restored, but those in the study group were obviously better than control group (t =3.56,3.42,4.26,3.22,4.16,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Plasmin combined with aspirin in treating acute cerebral infarction has accurate clinical curative effect, can markedly improve the blood rheology and promote nerve functional recovery,is worth of clinical spreading.
8.Study of standardized A/B ultrasonography for diagnosis of orbital vascular lesions
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 1993;0(03):-
Objective To study the application of standardized A/B ultrasonography for the orbital vascular lesions. Methods Standardized A/B ultrasonography was performed on orbital vascular lesions of 145 cases. Results The orbital vascular lesions included the cavernous hemangiomas in 79 cases, venous hemangiomas 19 cases, lymphangiomas 15 cases, infantile hemangiomas 5 cases, varix 12 cases and carotid-cavernous sinus fistula 15 cases. The positive rate of standardized A/B scans was 98.6 %, false negative 1.4 %.Conclusions Standardized A/B ultrasonography can make accurate diagnosis for orbital vascular lesions. B-mode ultrasonography mainly shows the shape, location and the relation to normal orbital structure, but A-mode ultrasonography is more accurate in internal reflectivity of lesions, and sound attenuation and quantitative. Combined B-mode and A-mode ultrasonography is more effective for diagnosis of orbital vascular lesions.
9.Investigation of Nitrate Pollution and Its Influential Factors in Ground Water in Haidian District of Beijing
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the characteristics of nitrate pollution and its affecting factors by analysis of the mon i-toring data on ni trate con tent in281specimens of ground water in Haidian District during1990-2000.Methods Nitrate con-tent in the water sam ples and its rela ted factors including area, year and hydrologic period were an alyzed using single factor variance analysis with the STATA4.0statis tic software developed by the Computer Resource Center in USA.Results Among the281specimens collected during1990-2000,nitrate con tent in24specimens were beyond the National Hygienic Standard, substandard rate was8.54%.There was significant difference in the nitrate con tent in the specimens collected from different ar-eas(F=10.02,P0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the nitrate content of the specimens between low water season and high water season.Hydrologic period was not an influential factor on the changes the nitrate content. Conclusion Regional differ-ence was found in the nitrate pollution levels of water, which indicated that control measures on the nitrate pollution should be taken in some main areas with nitrogen-rich organic substance pollution.
10.Protective Effect of Mogrosides on Experimental Liver Injury in Mice
China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the protective effect of Mogrosides on experimental liver injury in mice. METHODS: Acute hepatic injury model was induced by CCl4 in mice, and the immunological hepatic injury model was induced in mice by bacillus calmette-guerin (BCG) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The activities of ALT and AST in serum, SOD activity in liver tissue and content of MDA in the liver tissue were investigated; and the histological changes of liver were observed. RESULTS: Mogroside could decrease the serum activities of ALT and AST in mice with acute hepatic injury or immunological hepatic injury, increase the activity of SOD but decrease MDA content in liver tissue of mice with immunological hepatic injury, and it could lessen the histological changes of liver. CONCLUSION: Mogroside showed protective effect on mice with acute hepatic injury or immunological hepatic injury. The mechanism might be attributed to its action against lipid peroxidation.
