Basing on routine nursing, the observation group were given moxa box moxibustion combined with acupoint application therapy. The urination of the two groups after the treatment was observed and the effect was evaluated. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 93.55%, and the total effective rate of control group was 70.00%. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2=5.720, P=0.017). Conclusions Moxa box moxibustion combined with acupoint application can effectively prevent postoperative urinary retention of PPH. The operation is simple and easy to practice. The whole process is safe and noninvasive, takes less nursing time and easy to be accepted, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
