Obiective To explore the effect of pulmanory surfactant on the incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Methods In a case control study, 25 newborns with NRDS were treated with Exosurf. At the same time, other 25 newbons with NRDS were served as control. The incidence of BPD in two groups was compared. Results The duration of mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy was shortened in the group treated with PS (13 2?9) days vs (6?4) days, (21?9) days vs (9.3?6) days, respectively The incidence of BPD was decreased from 40% to 20%. Conclusion The duration of mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy can be shortened in the newbons of NRDS treated with PS, but the decreasing of the incidence of BPD were not confirmed.

Objective To Summarize perioperative nursing for 20 patients with the hyperreflexia of neurogenic detrusor by injection of botulinum toxin A.Methods Mental states of patients were assessed by Huaxi Emotional Distress Index questionnaire and psychological support was given to these patients, patients were assisted and instructed to record the urine diary correctly, cautions for the use of botulinum toxin A was interpreted, drinking water and activities were guided, and adverse reactions,follow-up results at 6,12 weeks were observed.Life quality by Incontinence Quality of Life Questionnaire was observed, the times of urinary incontinence, maximum pressure volume of bladder, maximum pressure of detrusor and the effect of urinary incontinence were compared. Results The absolute value of evasion and restrictive behavior, psychological effects, social fear disorders were (38.5 ± 19.6),(38.8 ±22.5),(28.1 ±20.3),respectively,on admission, and (41.2 ±27.1),(43.7 ± 26.5),(33.5 ± 28.8),respectively,at 6 weeks after nursing, and were (40.9 ± 27.7),(39.6 ± 24.3),(36.3 ± 28.7),respectively,at 12 weeks after nursing. The evasion and restrictive behavior, social fear disorderswere improved at 6,12 weeks after nursing as compared to nursing before. Conclusion Perioperative care for patients with the hyperreflexia of neurogenic detrusor by injection ofbotulinum toxin A can not only improve therapeuticeffect, improve social status, but also improve patients'self-management ability and quality of life.

Objective:To explore the genetic etiology of a patient with primary infertility and repeated failure of assisted reproductive technology. Methods:Peripheral blood samples of the patient and her husband were collected for the extraction of genomic DNA and clinical exome sequencing. Candidate variants were verified by Sanger sequencing. Results:The patient was found to harbor compound heterozygous variants of the PATL2 gene, namely c. 223-14_223-2del and c. 1369G>T (p.G457*). Sanger sequencing has verified that they were respectively inherited from her father and mother. The patient was diagnosed with oocyte maturation defect type 4. Conclusion:Oocyte maturation arrest due to mutations of the PATL2 gene can result in primary female infertility. Discovery of the novel c. 1369G>T (p.G457*) variant has expanded the spectrum of pathogenic variants of the PATL2 gene.

Objective To understand the rehabilitation of postoperative patients with breast diseases, and to find out the common problems and caring key points,in order to provide a reference for the continuous nursing for breast disease patients after the discharge.MethodsA total of 1583 patients who underwent surgical treatment in thyroid and breast surgical department in West China Hospital of Sichuan University from June 2015 to July 2016 were selected by purposive sampling method. The all patients were followed up on telephone at the time point of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after discharge. The follow-up was about patients' rehabilitation (wound, functional exercise, self-care ability and drainage), mental state, satisfaction with follow-up and so on.Results Female accounted for 1574 of the follow-up cases (99.4%). The average age of the patients was (47.20±11.97) years old. The proportion of malignant tumors was 74.6%. The average body mass index (BMI) was (22.66±2.5)kg/m2. The average surgery waiting days and the average hospitalization days were (4.12±2.40) and (8.54±3.40) respectively. The follow-up loss rate at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after discharge was 2.27% (36/1583), 1.90% (22/1158), 2.93% (26/888) and 4.89% (9/184) respectively. The differences of benign and malignant diseases between patients with different BMI and age were statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionsTelephone follow-up is a simple and effective way to understand the rehabilitation of patients, and is worthy of clinical use. Follow-up results suggests that caregivers should concern about postoperative wound healing, affected upper limb functional rehabilitation, and mental health in patients with breast diseases, so as to take effective measures to improve patients life quality according to actual problems.
