1.Evidence and Approach of Benefiting Qi for Activating Blood Circulation Method on Prevention and Treatment of Early Myocardial Dysfunction in Senile Diabetics
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(07):-
In view of Inner Canon of Huangdi, deficiency of heart-QI and blockage of blood circulation is one of basic physical features in senile people. The senile diabetics have more risks in developing into pathogenesis character of deficiency of qi and blood stasis. In Clinic,it could be found by macroscopic syndrome and microcosmic examination. So we prefer that benefiting Qi for activating blood circulation method could be used to amelioration heart systole and diastolic function in elderly diabetes patients to improve their life qualities.

Objective:To approach the status quo and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in intefering the related cardiovascular risk factors in obese type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods:The recent 10 years documents about nitric oxide(NO),endothelin(ET),C reactive protein(CRP),and etc.,eight cytokines which are involved in T2DM and its cardiovascular complications were retrieved and statistically analyzed and all related TCM were pykno-analyzed.Results:① CRP was the focal point at home and abroad, adiponectin(APN) was the hot spot in recent years.② The documents of ET at home was greatly more than that abroad,it may hint some diversity between different races.③ The related TCM were mainly characterized by cleaning heat, enriching yin and qi,activating blood circulation and removing stasis.④ ET and NO were the hot spots in the TCM fi eld. Conclusion:TCM had certain effect on the cardiovascular risk factors above in obese T2DM.

type of extreme heat with yin asthenia. But discrepancy of CO and EF between type of deficiency of both QI and YIN and type of QI-stagnation and blood stasis all had not statistical significance. Conclusion: In clinic to aim directly at left ventricular contractile dysfunction of senile diabetics,no matter syndrome differentiation belonging to type of deficiency of both QI and YIN,type of QI-stagnation and blood stasis or type of deficiency of both yin and yang, all can benefit after treatment with supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method;but syndrome differentiation belonging to type of extreme heat with yin asthenia advocates not to use supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method.

YAEH.But ET was no statistical significance discrepancy among DBQY,DBYY and QSBS.Conclusion: In clinic to aim directly at left ventricular diastolic dysfunction of senile diabetics,no matter syndrome differentiation belonging to DBQY,DBYY,QSBS,all can benefit after treatment with supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method;but syndrome differentiation belonging to YAEH advocates not to use supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method.
