BACKGROUND: Wnt signaling pathways can stimulate the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cel s, and promote the repair of spinal cord injury. The electrical field stimulation can change the protein expression of Wnt signaling pathways.
QBJECTIVE: To explore the influence of oscil ating electric field on motor function recovery and the expression of Wnt-3a protein in rats with spinal cord injury.
METHODS: A total of 36 Sprague-Dawley rats models with spinal cord injury were induced by the Al en’s method. Al rats were randomly divided into oscil ating electric field stimulation group and spinal cord injury group. The stimulating electrodes were added in both groups. The oscil ating electric field stimulation group received oscil ating electric field intervention.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: At 3 days after model establishment, Basso, Beattie, and Bresnahan (BBB) locomotor rating scale scores and Wnt-3a expression were similar between the oscil ating electric field stimulation group and spinal cord injury group. At 7 and 14 days, significant differences in BBB scores and Wnt-3a expression were detected. These results indicate that oscil ating electric field stimulation can activate Wnt signaling protein in the early stage of spinal cord injury, which may be associated with the promoting effect of oscil ating electric field stimulation on spinal cord injury.

Objective:To combine human anatomy preferably with Tibetan medical anatomy, thus, teaching quality and level of human anatomy has been improved.Method:To explain the major terms of Tibetan medical anatomy;combining with the Tibetan medical anatomy,to write the human anatomy teaching materials that fit the anatomy teaching of the Tibetan medical specialty to improve the teaching method;at the same time,to observe the teaching effects through the analyses of the questionnaire and exam results.Result:Shown as the investigation, those who think that the teaching materials have helped more to study human anatomy are taking 90.6%.After using this teaching material, people who think that those teaching materials has helped more tostudy Tisetan medical anatomy are taking 79.2%;Examination result analysis shows that,in two classes, before the teaching reform was implemented, students of above 80 marks were 12.5%,but after the teaching reform was implemented, those were 57.8%.Conclusion:The teaching material construction and teaching method reform brought into positive effects in the anatomy teaching quality improvement of the Tibetan medical specialty.

OBJECTIVETo study the relationship between the nonresponse to hepatitis B vaccine and HLA genotype/heplotype in Chinese population and provide the evidence for explaining the genetic mechanism of this nonresponse.
METHODSOur research focused on the relationship between nonresponse to Hepatitis B vaccine and HLA-DRB1, DRB3, DRB4, DRB5 and DQB1 genotype/haplotype in Chinese population, collected from a community in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The group specific amplification was employed to characterize 107 individuals' genotype and haplotype of HLA clusters. Different models statistics such as relative risk test, correlation test and linkage disequilibrium analysis were used to analyze the data.
RESULTSThe results showed that there is a linkage disequilibrium between nonresponse to Hepatitis B vaccine and HLA haplotype DR4, 1122 (DRB1 * 0401- 22, 1122)-DR53 (DRB4 * 0101101, 0102/3)-DQB4 (DQB1 * 04).
CONCLUSIONIn Chinese population, nonresponse to hepatitis B vaccine is highly associated with special HLA haplotye.
