Varian C 18 column, mobile phase: MeOH H 2O (15∶85); detection wavelength: 204 nm, flow rate: 0.5 mL/min. Results The content of aucubin and its recovery in three medicinal plants were as follows: aucubin in P. decora, in P. davidii and P. artselaeri were 0.90%, 1.94%, 0.95%; recovery rates were 102.3%, 98.2%, 97.6% in P. artelaeri. Conclusion Medicinal plants of Pedicularis Linn. has a good exploiting prospect, the research can provide the reference for evaluating of these medicinal herbs

A case of mandibular canine with apical periodontitis and double root canals was treated by CBCT assisted diagnosis and root ca-nal therapy.CBCT distinctly demonstrated the morphology of the root canal system in three dimensions and provided the information of canal varieties, prevented missed canals and conserved dentin.CBCT can guarantee the success of root canal therapy for the tooth with canal vareties.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(05):-
In this study the umbilical artery and uterine artery blood flow was measured by Acuson 128 color computer ultrasound in 90 healthy pregnant women, and the reference ranges and mathematical models of its indices were established. The variation of observers and measurement time and the effect of different areas of the same vessel on measured blood flow values were also studied. The results show reducing of resistance and increasing of blood flow of the umbilical and uterine arteries in healthy pregnancy with increased gestational age. Doppler blood flow measurement has a good repeatability and is worth while to be used universally. The Doppler signals shound be recorded from near placenta part of umbilical artery and upper branch of uterine artery in a side near to placenta.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of end-to-side and side-to-side portal vein-hepatic artery shunts (P-H shunt) in pigs with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension. Methods There were 15 pigs in each group (control and experimental),and the P-H shunt was made in each animal to observe the process of blood flow into the liver and the reduction of portal vein blood pressure. Results The portal vein pressures before the P-H shunt of pigs in the control and experimental group were (20.51±0.74) cm H2O (1 cm H2O=0.098 kPa) and (30.82±2.53) cm H2O respectively (P<0.05).Portal vein pressures 30 days after the P-H shunt were(19.75±0.84) cm H2O and (20.84± 1.36) cm H2 O respectively (P>0.05).The portal vein pressure differences of pigs in the control and experimental group before P-H shunt were (7.20±0.34) cm H2O and (17.34±0.62) cm H2O respectively (P<0.05).Pressures differences 30 days after the P-H shunt were (6.40±0.21) cm H2O and (7.84 ± 1.32) cm H2O respectively (P<0.05).Splenic vein injection of methylene blue after the P-H shunt operation stained the liver well.No necrosis and hepatic encephalopathy occurred for 30 days after the P-H shunt, and the splenomegaly gradually returned to normal.Liver function was most affected after the operation and other biochemical markers were least affected. Conclusions The P-H shunt changed the channel of blood flow into the liver, the portal hemodynamic was not affected, and a new balanced mechanism was established to maintain the portal hemodynamic stability. However, further treatment was needed for liver function recovery.

Objective:
Hippocampal neuron apoptosis contributes to autism, while METTL3 has been documented to possess great potentials in neuron apoptosis. Our study probed into the role of METTL3 in neuron apoptosis in autism and to determine the underlying mechanism.
Methods:
Bioinformatics analysis was used to analyze expressed genes in autism samples. Institute of Cancer Research mice were treated with valproic acid to develop autism models. The function of METTL3 in autism-like symptoms in mice was analyzed with behavioral tests and histological examination of their hippocampal tissues. Primary mouse hippocampal neurons were extracted for in vitro studies. Downstream factors of METTL3 were explored and validated.
Results:
METTL3, MALAT1, and Wnt/β-catenin signaling were downregulated, while SFRP2 was upregulated in the hippocampal tissues of a mouse model of autism. METTL3 stabilized MALAT1 expression by promoting m6A modification of MALAT1. MALAT1 promoted SFRP2 methylation and led to reduced SFRP2 expression by recruiting DNMT1, DNMT3A, and DNMT3B to the promoter region of SFRP2. Furthermore, SFRP2 facilitated activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling. By this mechanism, METTL3 suppressed autism-like symptoms and hippocampal neuron apoptosis.
Conclusion
This research suggests that METTL3 can reduce autism-like symptoms and hippocampal neuron apoptosis by regulating the MALAT1/SFRP2/Wnt/β-catenin axis.

Objective:
To investigate cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention status among residents with intra-urban migration in Central China, so as to provide insights into targeted prevention and control of CVD.
Methods:
Basic data of residents aged 35 to 75 years who participated in Early Screening and Comprehensive Intervention Project for CVD high-risk populations in Central China from September 2015 to August 2020 were collected. According to birth place, type of registered residence and current residence, residents were divided into four groups: local residents in old urban area, local residents in new urban area, other urban migrants and other rural migrants. The status of CVD primary and secondary prevention, were analysed by using a robust Poisson regression model.
Results:
A total of 76 513 residents were recruited, including 29 420 males (38.45%) and 47 093 females (61.55%), and had a mean age of (56.36±9.84) years. There were 45 087 (58.93%) local residents in old urban area, 23 868 (31.19%) local residents in new urban area, 5 668 (7.41%) other urban migrants and 1 890 (2.47%) other rural migrants. After adjusting for variables such as age, gender and educational level, the results of robust Poisson regression analysis showed that compared with local residents in old urban area, local residents in new urban area had lower compliance rates of non- or moderate-drinking (RR=0.987, 95%CI: 0.975-1.000) and healthy diet (RR=0.535, 95%CI: 0.365-0.782), lower proportion of using aspirin as primary prevention in CVD high-risk population (RR=0.616, 95%CI: 0.511-0.741), lower awareness (RR=0.873, 95%CI: 0.782-0.974) and control rates (RR=0.730, 95%CI: 0.627-0.849) of hypertension; other urban migrants had higher compliance rate of non-smoking (RR=1.045, 95%CI: 1.017-1.075); other rural migrants had lower proportion of using aspirin as primary prevention in CVD high-risk population (RR=0.826, 95%CI: 0.707-0.966).
Conclusion
The CVD primaryprevention among local residents in new urban area is relatively poor among four groups of residents in Central China, and key interventions are needed.
