Objective To improve the profit from equipment usage by enforcing the management of medical equipment.Methods The management was enforced on such key activities as equipment purchasing,usage and discarding.Meanwhile,profit analysis was made on large-scale equipment in use.Results The equipment management was enforced and the profit from usage was improved.Conclusion The application of this method make medical equipment management more standard and efficient,greatly improving the rate of utilization and profit.
2.Investigation and analysis in existing problems in management of medical records under new situation

Objective To explore the problems existing in management of medical records under new situation,especially the cognition of medical workers when the patients required to seal up or seize medical records.As a result,we further discussed existing problems in management of medical records under new situation and the countermeasures. Methods Self-designed questionnaires were used to investigate 75 doctors and 75 nurses.The results underwent analysis. Results The analysis showed that 27.7% doctors and 29.4% nurses didn't know any question.While 50.0% doctors and 55.7% nurses didn't know how to deal with when patients wanted to seal up the medical records,which became the issue that most doctors and nurses did not know. Conclusions Doctors and nurses should be familiar with concerned legal knowledges and strengthen the consciousness of medical records management in order to make the medical records the real evidence in the dispute settlement or court of law.
3.Clinical significance of combined detection of three tumor markers in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer

Objective To explore the clinical value of combined detection of lysophosphatidic acid(LPA),tumor-specific growth factor(TSGF)and carbohydrate antigen 1 9-9(CA1 9-9)in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The ser-um levels of LPA,TSGF and CA1 9-9 in 97 cases of patients with NSCLC(NSCLC group),43 cases of patients with benign lung disease(benign lung disease group)and 50 cases of healthy individuals(healthy control group)were detected,and diagnostic value of combined detection of these three tumor makers in the diagnosis of NSCLC was analysed.Results Serum levels of LPA,TSGF and CA1 9-9 in the NSCLC group were significantly higher than those in the benign lung disease group and healthy control group,had statistically significant differences(P <0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection of LPA,TSGF and CA1 9-9 was 68.63% and 37.1 7% respectively,and the sensitivity was higher than that of single detection and combined detection of any two of the three indicators.Conclusion Combined detection of tumor markers can improve the sensitivity in the diagnosis of NSCLC, which could provide reliable laboratory references for diagnosing NSCLC.
4.EFFECT OF CALCIUM PYRUVATE ON FATTY ACID METABOLISM IN RATS

Objective To investigate the effects of calcium pyruvate supplementation on body weight gain and fatty acid metabolism in rats.Method Thirty-two 150 g male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups:control group,low,middle and high dose calcium pyruvate group (0,100,500 and 1000mg/(kg.d)).Calcium pyruvate was administered intragastrically to rats-for 4 w,and then the rats were killed and blood and tissue samples were collected.Serum lipids and blood glucose were determined by biochemistry analyzer.Analysis of fatty acid composition of adipose tissue,liver tissue and musculature was determined by capillary gas chromatography and mRNA expressions of ACC-? in liver by RT-PCR.Result At the end of the experiment,the body weight and food conversion efficiency of rats in all experiment groups were significantly lower than that of control group.TG of high and middle dose group were obviously lower than that of control group.TC and blood glucose concentration were not statistically different among different groups.contents of C16:0,c9-C18:1,c9,c12-C18:2,?-C18:3 and C20:4 in the adipose tissue were significantly decreased in the experiment groups,but the content of C18:0 was not statistically different on fatty acid composition of musculature in rats.Fatty acid composition of liver tissue was remarkably lower than that of the control group,except C18:0 and c12-C18:2.mRNA expression level of ACC in liver of high dose group was significantly decreased (P

6.The value of hysterosalpingo-contrust-sonography in diagnosis of women infertility

Objective To assess the value of hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography (HyCoSy) with the contrast agent SonoVue in the diagnosis of women infertility. Methods Thirty-six cases of infertility underwent HyCoSy using SonoVue and compared with laparoscopie hydrotubation. Resnlts Among 69 fallopian tubes,22 of them were diagnosed to be obstructive by HyCoSy. Compared with laparoscopic hydrotubation, the sensitivity and specificity of HyCoSy were 90. 5 % and 93.8 %, respectively. Conclusions HyCoSy is a convenient, non-invasive, non-radiative method,which may be regarded as an effective tool to assess the fallopian tubes in patients with infertility.
7.Investigation on infections of human intestinal parasites in Taixing City

Objective To understand the current status of infections of intestinal parasites of population in Taixing City,Ji-angsu Province. Methods The infection rates and densities of human intestinal parasites were investigated according to the methods of the National Investigation Scheme on Human Principal Parasites,and the data of society,economy and disease con-trol were collected and analyzed. Results Among 2 556 people investigated in five villages,16 persons were found with intesti-nal parasites, with an infection rate of 0.63%. The infection rate was higher in residents with a low education level than in others and it was higher in the age group over 50 years than in the group under 50 years. The infection density was mild and the most was the single parasite infection. Conclusions The current status of intestinal parasite infections of population in Taixing City has reached the county-level control standard of Jiangsu Province. Therefore,the preventive strategy and measures should be ad-justed and the monitoring work should be strengthened.
8.Diffusion-Weighted Imaging Study of Cerebral White Matter in Alzheimer's Disease

Objective:To elucidate the changes in apparent diffusion coefficients(ADC)by quantify diffusion weighted (DW)magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in patients with Alzbeimer's disease(AD),and the relationship between micro-structure changes of white matter(WM)and the cognitive impairment thereof.Methods:The DW-MRI was performed in 30 probable AD patients and 30 normal controls with normal-appearing white matter(NAWM).The ADC was measured in different WM areas.The neurologic and neuropsychological assessments were examined with mini-mental state examination(MMSE)in patients.The ADC were determined in standard regions of the frontal,temporal,occipital and parietal white matter,genu,splenium of the corpus callosum.Results:The value of ADC was higher in frontal,splenium corpus callosum,temporal,and parietal white matter of AD group than that of control(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference in the ADC value of genu and occipital white matter between AD and control groups(P> 0.05).The score of MMSE was 24.1±0.8 in AD group.The ADC values of parietal,splenium of the corpus callosum and frontal white matter were significantly negatively correlated with MMSE scores in AD group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).There was no correlation between the ADC values of genu of the corpus eallosum,temporal and occipital white matter with the MMSE score(P > 0.05).Conclusion:The quantitative DWI analysis of MRI DWI may be helpful in assessing WM abnormalities in AD.The parietal WM abnormalities may play an important role in the development of dementia.It was showed that Alzheimer's cognitive decline with ADC value and micro-structure of white matter was closely related.
9.Effect of PKG on the secretion of inflammatory cytokines in THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells

Objective To investigate the effect of PKG on the secretion of IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-αin THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells. Methods THP-1 monocytes were induced to construct macrophages by treating with 160 nmol/L TPA. Then the macrophages were further treated with 50 mg/L ox-LDL to become foam cells. Four groups were set in this study, including the macrophage group, the foam cell group, the group of foam cell treated with PKG agonist 8-Br-cGMP, and the group of foam cell treated with PKG inhibitor KT-5823. The morphology of THP-1 cells, macrophages and foam cells were observed under microscope. The cellular lipid accumulation was detected by oil red ostaining. The secretion of IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α into the supernatant was detected by ELISA assay. Results The foam cell was obtained after macrophage incubated with ox-LDL for 48 hours. The secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α increased significantly from the foam cells than that from the macrophages (P<0.05). After the THP-1 monocyte-derived macrophages were incubated with 8-Br-cGMP, the secretion of IL-6 in the supernatant decreased significantly ( P < 0 . 05 ) and IL-10 level in the supernatant increased significantly (P < 0.05). After the macrophages were incubated with KT-5823, the secretion of IL-10 decreased significantly (P<0.05), but the secretion of IL-6 was not significantly changed (P>0.05). After incubation with 8-Br-cGMP, the secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α from the macrophage-derived foam cells decreased significantly (P < 0.05), but IL-10 increased significantly (P<0.05). After the foam cells were treated with KT-5823, the secretion of IL-6 and TNF-αwere also decreased significantly (P<0.05), with no significant change of IL-10 secretion (P > 0.05). Conclusions PKG may enhance the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10, and inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokine IL-6 and TNF-α, contributing to prevent the development of inflammation. PKG might have a potential anti-atherosclerosis effect.
10.Clinical value of time-intensity curve analysis of hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography in the diagnosis of women infertility due to tube obstruction

Objective To investigate the clinical value of hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography (HyCoSy) with high-pressure syringe injection and time-intensity curve analysis in the diagnosis of women infertility due to tube obstruction.Methods Fifty-six women with infertility underwent HyCoSy with compressive injection of SonoVue with a balloon catheter and high-pressure syringe.Time-intensity curve based on Autotracking Contrast Quatification (ACQ) software was analyzed in all patients.The arrival time (AT) of microbubbles from uterine cavity to tube fimbria was analyzed between partially obstructed tube group and control group.Results The AT in the group of partially obstructed tubes was (3.49 ± 1.70) s,while the AT in the group of freely patent tubes was (1.14-± 0.37)s,there was statistical difference of AT between the group of partially obstructed tubes and the group of freely patent tubes (P =0.000).According to ROC results,the optimization point of AT was 1.65 s,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 92.6%,93.3%,96.2% and 87.5%,respectively.Conclusions High-pressure syringe injection in HyCoSy is useful for regular administration and high image quality.The AT could be considered as the diagnostic indices in the evaluation of fallopian tube patency for infertile women.
