China Oncology 2017;27(8):608-612
Surgery is one of the most important treatments for breast cancer. A part of the early breast cancer patients demand further oncoplastic breast surgery to reconstruct or restore the breast cosmosis after conventional breast conserving surgery, by oncoplastic breast surgery, which is a modern conception and technique including volume dis-placement and volume replacement. Oncoplastic breast surgery using pedicled omental flap is a new approach among volume replacement techniques. It has made some progress in recently years. A systematic review was therefore con-ducted to analyze and illuminate the present status.

Objective To explore the relationship between learning and memory ability and antioxidant enzyme (SOD, CAT, GSH-Px)activities in specific brain areas of D-galactose model rats. Methods The aging models were induced by D-galactose in 3-month old rats, and the learning and memory ability of aging model was detected in model MG-2 maze. The activity of SOD, CAT and GSH-Px in brain cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, striatum and hypothalamus were detected immediately after rats were executed. Results The learning and memory ability of D-ga-lactose aging model was lower than that of control group. The difference of antioxidant enzyme activity among different rat brain areas was significant. The correct response rate of D-galactose aging model was( 58.9 ± 5.4 ) %, which is significantly lower than that of the control group (66.8 ±8.9) %, P < 0.05. The times of response required reaching the standard after 24h of aging model rats was significantly higher than that of the control( Aging group :29.5 ± 12.8, Control group 16.6 ± 6.2; P< 0.01 ). Correct response rate after 24h was significantly lower than that of the control ( Aging group :67.3 ± 10.3 , Control group: 79.1 ± 6.9; P< 0.01 ). The SOD activity in cortex, hippocampus and striatum( Aging group :66.12 ±5.89,80.46 ± 6.57,87.82 ± 6.87; Control group :57.63 ± 4.21,67.46 ± 6.80,68.37 ± 6.52) significantly reduced ( P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 ).The CAT activity in cortex, hippocampus, striatum and hypothalamus( Aging group :6.45 ± 0.55,5.86 ±0.35,6.93 ± 0.63,8.89 ± 0.38; Control group :5.32 ± 0.56,4.76 ± 0.38,4.37 ± 043,6.11 ± 0.37) significantly reduced ( P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 ). GSH-Px activity was similar in each brain area without significance ( P > 0.05 ). Conclusions The learning and memory ability of aging mode rats decreased. The change of antioxidant enzyme activities in hippocampus, cortex, striatum and hypothalamus is closely related to learning and memory ability.

BACKGROUND: Learning and memory is a very complex biological phenomenon. Although quite a few researches on the substances participate in learning and memory and the brain areas related with learning and memory, its mechanism is still not completely clarified.OBJECTIVE:ro study the difference of antioxidase activity at different brain area in rats with different ability of learning and memory to reveal the relationship between the ability of learning and memory and the activity of antioxidase in specific brain area.DESIGN: A randomized controlled trial based on the experimental animals.SETTING: Department of Biochemistry in Jining Medical College.MATERIALS: The study was conducted in the Laboratory of Biochemistry of Jining Medical College and Suzbeu Medical College between March 2001 and January 2004. Forty 15-month old male Wistar rats with a body mass between 580 g and 650 g were selected.INTERVENTIONS: The detection of learning memory ability was carried out in MG-2 trisection radiation maze. Correction response was that the rats escaped to safe area after electric shock. Standard of master was that the rats had 9 out of 10 times continuously of correction. Observatory indicators included times of response required reaching the standard and the correct response rate. Good learning. ability meant 40 or less than 40 times of responses to reach standard; otherwise, poor learning ability was considered. Detection was repeated after 24 hours to observe the memory. Good memory meant 3 times continuously of correct response; otherwise, poor memory was considered. Rats with good learning ability and memory were included into group 1 (n= 10) and the rats with poor learning ability and memory were included into group 2( n = 12). The rest rats were washed out.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase(CAT) and glutathione-peroxidase(GSH-Px) of five brain areas including cerebral cortex, cerebella, striatum, hippocampus and hypothalamus in rats of two groups.RESULTS: To compare the rats with poor learning and memory ability with rats with good learning and memory ability: SOD activity in cortex, hippocampus and striatum significantly reduced ( t = 3.82, 4. 50, 6. 76, P <0.01); CAT activity in cortex, hippocampus, striatum and hypothalamus significantly reduced(t =4.75, 7.06, 10. 88, 17.28, P<0.001); and GSH-Px activity was similar in each brain area without statistical significance.CONCLUSION: Hippocampus, cortex, striatum and hypothalamus all might participate in learning memory process, and the activities of antioxidases in these areas are closely related with learning memory.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(35):5663-5668
BACKGROUND:Bone nonunion may occur after limb trauma fracture. Internal fixation of implant is a common mode of repair, but fixation of different implants has different effects. OBJECTIVE:To explore the application value of different implant fixation in limb trauma of nonunion after femoral shaft fracture. METHODS:A retrospective analysis was performed on 72 cases of nonunion after femoral shaft fractures in Bozhou People’s Hospital from November 2012 to November 2013. They were divided into the observation group (36 cases) and control group (36 cases) according to the way of treatment, which were given interlocking intramedul ary nail and dynamic compression plate fixation. Length of incision, intraoperative blood transfusion volume, postoperative drainage volume, operation time, fracture healing time and functional recovery of knee joint were observed and compared between the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There was no statistical significance in operation time and length of the incision between the two groups (both P>0.05). Intraoperative amount of blood transfusion and postoperative drainage were significantly higher in the control group than in the observation group;the fracture healing time was significantly longer in the control group than in the observation group;infection rate in final fol ow-up was significantly higher in the control group than in the observation group (al P<0.05). No significant differences in preoperative knee joint International Knee Documentation Committee knee evaluation form and Lysholm score were found between the two groups (al P>0.05), but above two scores were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group in final fol ow-up (al P<0.05). These findings suggest that compared with the dynamic compression plate, interlocking intramedul ary nail in treatment of bone nonunion after femoral shaft fracture can obtain good effect, firm fixation, low infection rate, and is more in line with the physiological and biomechanical requirements.
