Tripterygium Hypoglaucum Hutch and Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook.f are all Evonymus alata family Tripterygium Wilfordii genus plants.They are generally used in the clinical treatment in department of dermatology.They resemble each other not only in some chemical constitutions,but also in some pharmacologic actions(such as anti-inflammatory,anti-tumor,immune suppression,antifertility and so on),but they are all poisonous plants.When they are used for therapy,they can induce some toxic reactions,even the death of patients.In order to facilitate the adoption of the two drugs,we review their pharmacologic actions.

This paper primarily discusses the effects of ultraviolet blood irradiation(UBI) on sudden deafness and comparison is made between the group of UBI and control. The results showed that the effctive rates of UBI on hearing and tinnitus were 75.86% and 82.60% respectively. Whereas the effective rates in control group were 55.55% and 54.54%. Therefore UBI is effective in the treatment of sudden deafness, especially for tinnitus.

Objective To study 18F-deoxyglucose-positron emission tomography and CT fusion (FDG PET) in three dimensional conformal radiotherapy for non-small -c ell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Methods Gross tumor volume (GTV) of 13 NSCLC patient s were determined by FDG PET and CT separately (GTV PET-CT and GTV CT ), which were then compared. Results Except 2 patients, all the other patients' GTV PET-CT dif fered from their GTV CT. Compared with GTV CT, GTV PET-CT was in creased by an avera ge of 29.2?cm3 in 5 patients and decreased by an average of 41.6?cm3 in 6 patien ts. Conclusions 18F-deoxyglucose-positron emission tomography, which can improve target definition between benign and malignant lesions in the lung, is proved t o be more sensitive and specific in detecting mediastinal lymph node involvement . FDG PET may provide accurate target definition and improve the local control.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and laboratory examinations in incident dialysis effect on the prognosis of elderly patients undergoing hemodialysis.Methods Ninety-three patients aged 65 years or older initiating hemodialysis were enrolled from Hemadialysis Center of Beijing Hospital from January lst,2007 to June 30th,2016.The duration time of HD of all patients was more than three months.Patients were divided into death group and non-death group.The clinical characteristics and laboratory examinations were compared between the two groups.Cox proportional hazards regression was used for the multivariate analysis to determine independent prognosis factors.Results The average year of patients was 74.2±6.5 years old with 43 months of median time of follow-up.The first two causes of death were infection (n =25,49.0％) and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (n =16,31.4％).Cox single factor regression analysis showed that the older ages,diabetic nephropathy being the cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD),complicating with diabetes mellitus or congestive heart failure,the higher Charlson cardiovascular diseases score,ALB being under 35 g/L were correlated with poor outcome respectively(P＜0.05).Cox multivariate regression analysis indicated that older ages (HR =1.056,P =0.021),diabetic nephropathy being the cause of ESRD (HR =2.661,P =0.001),the higher Charlson cardiovascular diseases score (HR =1.675,P =0.010),central venous catheters being vascular access(HR=1.167,P=0.048) on incident dialysis were the main risk factors for mortality in elderly patients.Conclusion The older ages,diabetic nephropathy being the cause of ESRD,the higher Charlson cardiovascular diseases score,central venous catheters being vascular access on incident dialysis are independent risk factors influencing survival of elderly patients.

Objective To explore the clinical and histopathological characteristics and the diagnostic status of seborrheic keratosis (SK) Methods The clinical and pathological data of 286 cases were analyzed retrospectively.Results Among the 286 patients,the elderly patients accounted for the majority and more males were diagnosed with SK than females.The lesions were found among 46.2％ of patients in the exposure sites,such as face and neck.The most frequent types were hyperkeratosis and acanthosis.The clinical diagnosis consisted with pathologic diagnosis in 152 cases.The clinical misdiagnosis rate was 36.7％.Conclusion SK is related to gender,age,and sunlight.Histopathological examination is important in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of SK.

Objective To explore the unmet needs and service of rehabilitation for Chinese people with disabilities. Methods The unmet needs and services of rehabilitation data from the Second National Sample Survey of Disability and 2006-2016 Statistical Bulletin on the De-velopment of People with disabilities in China issued by China Disabled Persons Federation had been analyzed. Results The unmet needs of rehabilitation for people with disabilities in China were mainly included health care and support, assistive devices, rehabilitation therapy and services, poverty alleviation, accessible facilities, accessible information, and other rehabilitation needs. The highest rate of unmet needs of rehabilitation was in the fields of health care (34.84%) and poverty alleviation (33.25%). There were significant differences in unmet needs of rehabilitation among people with different types of disabilities (χ2=40322.1, P<0.01). For all the types of disabilities, 41.46%had not re-ceived any service and support, 30.45%received health care and support, and 0.55%received accessible information. The main approaches recommended by professionals for people with disabilities were institutional rehabilitation, and community and family based services. The main services recommended by professionals to people with psychiatric (68.18%) or visual disabilities (60.28%) were health care, to people with hearing disability (51.67%) were assistive device, and to people with intellectual (57.36%) and speech disability (47.06%) were rehabil-itation therapy and training. There were significant differences both in rehabilitation approaches and contents among people with different types of disabilities preferred by professionals (χ2=12489.9,χ2=52528.93, P<0.01). Conclusion The unmet needs of rehabilitation for people with different types of disabilities were mainly included health care and assistance, assistive devices, rehabilitation training and services, and poverty alleviation. There were significant differences among people with different types of disabilities. For service delivery, the highest rate was in health care and assistance. The gap between the service and unmet needs of poverty alleviation for people with disabilities in China was the highest. There were significant differences in rehabilitation approaches and contents recommended by professionals among people with different types of disabilities. It was recommended to construct the national and local system of policy support system and rehabilita-tion service governance, to provide precision rehabilitation services based on the unmet needs of rehabilitation, to develop the comprehen-sive rehabilitation service delivery to achieve the goal of rehabilitation for all, and to conduct scientific research on rehabilitation by using International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health to provide evidence and support for the development of rehabilitation.

The clinical data of 143 patients with type Ⅱ a hepatolithiasis with normal function of the sphincter of Oddi were analyzed.The patients were divided into two groups at random.The data of the 2 groups of patients were compared on the operating time,hospitalization,rates of complication,residual stone rates and recurrence rates.The A group patients underwent laparoscopic video choledochoscopic hepaticocholangiolithotomy,T-tube drainage and choledochoscopic lithotomy.The B group patients underwent laparoscopic video hepatectomy and choledochoscopic lithotomy.For most of the patients in the A group,the treatment had the advantages of less trauma,less complications and quicker recovery.There was no significant differences in residual stone rates and recurrence rates between the two groups.As it was difficult to remove stones in the caudate lobes of Ⅱ a type patients in A group due to the sharp angle between the hepatic duct and bile ducts of the caudate lobe,individualized programs should be adopted according to the location of stones on individual patients.

Objectives：To observe the effect of eukaryotic expression vectors coding IL-2 and IL-12 on immune responses induced by DNA immunization of HBV surface antigen（pCR3.1-S）in BABL/c(H-2d) and the protection against P815 mastocytoma cells stable expressing HBV surface antigen in mice after immunized with HBV gene vaccine.Methods：The immunization was performed by intramuscular injection,three weeks later,we directly inoculated P815-HBV-S into mice by subcutaneous injection .Tumor growth was measured every five days.Anti-HBs in serum was detected by ELISA and HBsAg specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) activity was measured by 51 Chromium release assay.Results：Eight weeks after immunization,the A value of mice serum in 450 nm and CTLs activity of mice codiog IL-2 and IL-12 eukaryotic expression vectors were significant higher(P<0.05) than that of mice intramuscular injected HBV-S DNA vaccine,these values are significant higher than that of mice injected pCR3.1(P<0.05).The spleen cells CTLs activity have decreased obviously after treated with anti-CD8+ monoclonal antibody and have no significant change after treated with anti-CD4+ monoclonal antibody.The HBV-S gene vaccine could evidently inhibit the tumor growth,prolong the survival period (>38.2 days) and improve the survival rate in mice.Conclusions：The DNA vaccine of HBV ( pCR3.1-S) had strong antigenicity in cellular and humoral immunity and had marked killing effect on HBV infected cells in vivo，which could be promoted by vector coding murine IL-2 or IL-12.CTLs activity was performed by CD8+ cells.

Objective To study the conditions and methods of hydrodynamics-based transgene into rat regenerating liver in vivo. Methods The solution with concentration 30mg/L gene-containing plasmid was injected into rat tail veins at a speed of 2ml/s, then partial hepatectomy (PH) was performed at different times before/after injection, finally the rat (g) and regenerating liver (g) were weighed, and the liver coefficient (Lc) was calculated. Out of 15 groups which are Lc±Lc*0%, *5%, *10%, *15%, *20%, *25%, *30%, *35%, the most suitable group was chosen as correction coefficient to calculate the most appropriate volume of plasmid solution which was injected into the regenerating liver at different recovery times, and at the same time, right lobe of liver was gathered to make frozen section, then observe and quantify the positive green fluorescent protein (GFP) rate at 488 nm excitation wavelength. Results Injection of either physiological saline or empty plasmid has no significant difference compared with control (only PH performance). The appropriate time of hydrodynamics-based transgene is more than 12 hours before PH or anytime after PH. The solution volume of hydrodynamics-based transgene into liver regenerating rat after PH is rat weight (g) ×9%×1/3×corresponding correction coefficient (Trc). Both vector and target gene have effect on the time and abundance of gene expression. Conclusion Hydrodynamics-based transgene can effectively be applied to gene transfection in rat regenerating liver.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the therapeutic effect of intranasal endoscopic surgery on inverted papilloma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses in stage Ⅰ-Ⅲ. METHODS According to the staging system developed by John H.Krouse,30 cases with inverted papilloma in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses in stage Ⅰ-Ⅲ were analyzed retrospectively. All patients were treated by intronasal endscopic surgery and were followed up for 24 months. RESULTS The inverted papilloma was removed completely and no serious complications occurred. One case recurred at 10 month after surgery and pathologically proved to be cancerated. Another 2 case recurred at 6 and 7 month after surgery respectively. Recurred tumors were removed again, no recurrences occurred in the following up period. The recurrence rate was 10 % and canceration rate was 3.3 %. CONCLUSION Endoscopic surgery is an effective method in management of the inverting papilloma in nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses in stage Ⅰ-Ⅲ.
