Purpose To explore the correlation between fetal cardiac function and interventricular septal thickness in fetuses of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) mothers. Materials and Methods Thirty-nine GDM mothers were involved in the study and divided into group MH (fetuses of GDM mothers with interventricular septal hypertrophy) and group NMH (fetuses of GDM mothers with normal interventricular septal thickness). Ultrasonic cardiogram was performed for both groups to assess such variables as interventricular septum thickness at end diastole (IVSd), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular fraction shortening (LVFS), right ventricular fraction shortening (RVFS), the ratio of E and A of mitral flow (E/AMV), the ratio of E and A of tricuspid flow (E/ATV), peak velocity of aortic valve (VPAO), peak velocity of pulmonary valve (VPPA) and myocardial performance index (MPI). The results were further compared with those of control group. Results The VPAO, VPPA, LVEF and LVFS in group NMH were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The VPAO, VPPA, LVEF, LVFS and RVFS in group MH were significantly higher than those in control group whilst the E/AMV and E/ATV significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05). The LVEF, LVFS and RVFS in group MH were significantly higher than those in group NMH whilst the E/AMV and E/ATV significantly lower (P<0.05). MPI in group MH was significantly higher than that in group NMH (P<0.05), whilst both were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). The LVEF, LVFS, RVFS, VPAO and VPPA were positively correlated with IVSd (r=0.48, 0.51, 0.45, 0.30, 0.30;P<0.05). Conclusion Cardiac function in fetuses of GDM mothers may be associated with interventricular septal thickness.

Objective To explore the splenic macrophages phenotype and secretory function of mice with periodontitis, so as to explore effects of periodontitis on macrophages. Methods 22 mice were randomly divided into periodental ligation group (group P10d ) and pseudo periodental ligation control group (group C), with 11 mice in each group. The experimental periodental ligation on mice lasted for 10 days before they were sacrificed. Flow cytometry was applied to detect the expression of M1 and M2 in mononuclear macrophages. Real-time PCR was applied to detect the relative expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and anti inflammatory cytokines IL-10. Results Compared with the control group C, the proportion of M1 macrophages in the periodontitis group decreased, and the ratio of M1/M2 was also decreased significantly, and IL-1β mRNA also down-regulated. Conclusions Chronic periodontal infection could down regulate the proportion of M1 macrophages , decrease ratio of M1/M2 and the expression of inflammatory cytokines IL-1βmRNA.

Objective To investigate the efficacy observation of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS)for improving the attention in patients with infarction in basal ganglia area. Methods Sixty consecutive patients with basal ganglia infarction admitted to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine,the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from May 2015 to May 2016 were enrolled. They were randomly divided into either a control group or a test group according to the random number table (n = 30 in each group). The patients in both groups received routine rehabilitation training,and those in the test group received tDCS therapy synchronously,and the control group received the sham tDCS stimulation. The evaluations and analyses were conducted with the Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA),d2 test of attention,and event-related potential-P300 (ERP-P300),respectively in all patients before intervention and 4 weeks after intervention,and they were compared between the groups. Results There was no significant difference before intervention between the two groups (all P > 0. 05). Compared with before intervention,the ERP-P300 latencies were reduced,the amplitudes were increased after intervention in the patients of the test group and the control group (all P < 0. 05). 2. 4;the control group:17. 2 ±2. 5 vs. 15. 6 ±2. 3),attention dimension scores (the test group:4. 6 ± 1. 2 vs. 2. 4 ± 1. 6;the control group:3. 6 ± 1. 5 vs. 2. 5 ± 1. 5),and the total completion of d2 attention test task, total scores,and concentration degree scores (the test group:295 ± 31 vs. 250 ± 45,279 ± 38 vs. 223 ± 52, 97 ± 22 vs. 75 ± 25;the control group:276 ± 33 vs. 247 ± 45,257 ± 39 vs. 211 ± 56,84 ± 23 vs. 71 ± 24) were all increased (all P < 0. 05),and all the indexes of the test group were better than those of the control group (all P < 0. 05). Conclusion tDCS contributes to the improvement of the attention in patients with infarction in the internal capsule-basal ganglia region.

Objective: To improve the traditional preparation procedure of effervescent tablets in order to raise stabilization. Methods: The orthogonal design was used for improvement of process. Results: The optimum procedure condition was A 3B 2C 1. That is adding 7.5% citric acid, 11.25% sodium bicarbonate encapsulated by 5% PEG. Conclusion: The new procedure is superior to the traditional procedure, and it is suitable for the requirement of production on a large scale.

ObjectiveTo analyze the relationship between expressions of Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) and B7-H1 with clinico-pathological features and their prognostic significance in pancreatic cancer (PC).Method95 patients who underwent radical pancreaticoduodenectomy for PC were studied.The IDO and B7-H1 expressions in tissue specimens were determined by immunohistochemistry.ResultsIDO and B7-H1 expressions were higher in pancreatic carcinoma tissues than in normal pancreatic tissues (P＜0.05).IDO and B7-H1 expressions positively and significantly correlated with pathological grades and tumour-node-metastasis (TNM) stages (P＜0.05).They were prognostic of poor cancer-specific survival.After adjusting by the Cox proportional hazards regression models (P＜0.05),only a combined IDO/B7-H1 expression served as an independent prognostic marker.ConclusionsIDO and B7-H1 were expressed in PC,and they were important markers for malignant progression of PC.A combined IDO/B7-H1 expression served as an independent prognostic marker for PC.

Objective To investigate the influence of diameter of liver outflow vein on portal hypertension and artificial blood vessel (ABV) patency rate in Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) patients undergoing atrial caval shunting (ACS).Methods We recruited 209 patients,who had undergone ACS for Ⅱ type of BCS.Those patients with unobstructed liver outflow vein were included into group A and the patients with stenosed liver outflow vein into group B.Free portal pressure (FPP) was measured before and after ABV opening.Portal vein velocity (Vpv),liver function,spleen volume and function,esophagogastric varices and ABV patency were evaluated postoperatively.Results After ABV opening,FPP decreased significantly in group A than group B (t =10.45,P ＜ 0.05).Vpv accelerated significantly in group A 2 weeks after operation than group B (t =12.81,P ＜ 0.05).Apparent improvement of liver function,spleen function and esophagogastric varices and reduction of spleen volume were observed in group A patients than group B patients (P ＜ 0.05).Reduction of esophagogastric varices in group A was better than in group B (x2 =44.73,P ＜ 0.05).By postoperative follow up,ABV patency of group A was higher than group B (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Patency status of liver outflow vein significantly influences postoperative portal vein pressure and closely correlats to ABV patency rate after ACS.

Objective To investigate the change of inferior vena cava pressure (IVCP) in type Ⅱ Budd-Chiari syndrome patients undergoing atrial caval shunting and its relationship with postoperative artificial blood vessel (ABV) patency rate.Methods We recruited 209 patients who had undergone atrial caval shunting for type Ⅱ Budd-Chiari syndrome and evaluated IVCP,right atrial pressure (RAP) and free portal vein pressure (PFP) before and after ABV opening.Presure changes were compared by t-test.These patients were followed up by color Doppler ultrasonograthy for ABV patency.The correlation between IVCP and postoperative ABV patency were analyzed By Kaplan-Meier test.Results IVCP (t =0.56,P ＜ 0.05)and PFP (t =0.72,P ＜ 0.05) decreased and RAP increased significantly after ABV opening (t =0.52,P ＜ 0.05).Follow up result showed that ABV patency rate was lower in patients with IVCP descent ＜ 1 kPa than those with IVCP descent ＞ 1 kPa (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Significant IVCP descent correlates with high ABV patency rate after atrial caval shunting in type Ⅱ Budd-Chiari syndrome patients.

The endophytic fungus named FSN006 was isolated from the inner bark of Juglans mandshurica. It grew quickly and formed circular colony on PDA plate. The upper side of the colony was white, while the lower side of the colony and the conditioned medium were light yellow as a result of significant yellow pigment substances were produced and secreted by the fungi. Green elliptic conidia appeared when cultured on CMX plate. Based on the morphology identification and ITS sequence, it was clear that this fungus belonged to the Deuteromycotina, HyPhomycetes, Moniliales, Trichoderma longibrachiatum. The conditioned medium of FSN006 showed a high anti-tumor ability against liver cancer cell-HepG2, and reached its IC50 concentration after being diluted 20 times, while the IC50 concentration of curcumine was(11.49 +/- 0.12) mg x L(-1). In addition, there was preeminent selective inhibiting effect against the normal liver cell strain HL-7702 and its caner counter strain HepG2. The inhibiting effect against strain HL-7702 was only one quarter of that against HepG2 at the concentration of IC50. Therefore, the fermentation of FSN006 may provide a possible way to produce anticancer drug with higher efficiency and lower toxicity.

Fournier gangrene is a relatively rare clinical critical disease, and its clinical symptoms are not specific and easily unrecognized by some clinicians. It has the features of acute onset, quick development, severe illness, and often accompanied by infection shock which is seriously life-threatening. It is difficult in treatment with high medical costs and long length of hospitalization, which increases pain for patients and relatives and brings heavy economic and psychological burden on patients, society, and medical workers. By reviewing the literature home and abroad and combined with clinical practice, I summarize the researches on concept, epidemiology, clinical manifestation, diagnosis and treatment of Fournier gangrene, in order to provide reference for vast number of clinical workers.
