Randomized sampling-based questionnaire among 2000 community residents and personal contact with selected populations were conducted.Based on incidence or clinical featuxes of dermatosis and venereal diseases and recognition-related impact factor analyses,we provided evidence for community-based health education and behavior intervention. Our findings showed that itching was the most common skin disease, and fungous infection displayed an increasing trend.Viral diseases increased significantly in recent years.Patients failed to understand the skin diseases, although they partly had some misleading information about venereal diseases.Health care providers should perform more health education and behavior interventions regarding dermatosis and venereal diseases for community residents to improve their health condition or quality of life.

Fine needle aspiration cytopathology of the breast is an effective means of distinguishing malignant from benign, and the aspirated sample collections techniques is the primary and key part of fine needle aspiration.Fine needle aspiration cell block has been improved and used on preoperative breast cancer molecular portraits. This paper will provide an introduction to application of specimens collection techniques, application and development of fine needle aspiration cell block on preoperative breast cancer molecular portraits.

Objective To investigate the changes of interleukin(IL)-2 and interferon(IFN)-γin serum and synovial fluid of patients with joint injure with Kashin-Beck disease(KBD), and study the roles of IL-2 and IFN-γ in KBD joint injure. Methods In accordance with the "Diagnostic Criteria of Kashin-Beck disease"(GB16003-1995),48 cases of KBD patients and 26 healthy people(control group) from KBD endemic area in Long county Shaanxi province were enrolled in the study. KBD patient were 24 males and 24 females, respectively, aged 40 to 65 years (mean age 51 years). Forty-eight serum specimens and 28 synovial fluid specimens of patients(14 males and 14 females, respectively) were collected. Healthy control group were 13 males and 13 females, respectively. Twenty-six serum specimens of healthy controls were collected. Serum and synovial fluid IL-2 and IFN-γ levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results In healthy controls and KBD patients, the midian of serum IL-2 were 46.8 ng/L and 55.7 ng/L, respectively, and IFN-γ were 52.3 ng/L and 48.8 ng/L, respectively. The difference was not statistically significant between healthy controls and KBD patients(t = 0.62, 0.70, all P > 0.05).In synovial fluid of KBD patient, the midian of IL-2 and IFN-γwere 48.3 ng/L and 44.1 ng/L, respectively. The difference was not statistically significant between serum and synovial fluid in KBD patients(t = 0.69, 1.72, all P >0.05). Conclusion Serum and synovial fluid IL-2 and IFN-γare not significantly increased in KBD patients with articular damage, indicating that IL-2 and IFN-γare not involved in KBD joint injury.

Objective To observe the effect of δ-opioid receptor on proliferation and migration of human epidermal stem cells (hESCs) in vitro so as to offer treatment theory for skin injury. Methods hESCs from fresh foreskin tissues of normal young volunteers were isolated and cultured by enzyme digestion and differential adherence technique.Immunofluorescent staining was used to determine expression of integrin β1 and cytokeratin 19 (CK19) and flow cytometry was used for cell count.Second generation of cells were cultured for 5 consecutive days with keratinocyte serum-free medium (K-SFM) supplemented with 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group A,with K-SFM supplemented with 1 nmol/L naltrindole and 1 nmol/L (D-Ala2,K-Leu5)-enkephalin in Group B,and with isolated K-SFM in Group C.Cellular division and proliferation were detected by MTT method. An in vitro 100 μm scratch-wound model was created on the confluent monolayer cells at 24 hours of incubation.Cells migrating from the wound margin were determined by inverted phase contrast microscope at 24,48,72,and 96 hours after wound formation, while wound closure rate was calculated at 72 hours. Results Primary cultured hESCs presented cobblestone-like shape after adherence growth,Immunofluorescence staining showed positive results for integrin β1 and CK19 and cell purity reached 95.6%.Moreover,MTT findings revealed proliferation of hESCs enhanced significantly in Group A,but lowered in Group B as compared to Group C (P < 0.05).hESCs migrated from the wound margin in all groups at 24 hours. However, more migrated cells were seen in Group A than in Group C and less in Group B than in Group C.Rate of wound closure was (89.5 ±0.7)% in Group A,(76.1 ±0.3)% in Group B,and (81.1 ±0.6)% in Group C at 72 hours, indicating significant differences among groups (P < 0.05).Conclusion Activation of δ-opioid receptor promotes the proliferation and migration of hESCs in vitro and may be implicated in wound healing.

Breast calcification is a specific sign of nonpalpable early breast cancer, the accurate localization and biopsy can obviously improve the diagnosis rate of early breast cancer, and imaging-guided needle localization is the premise of accurate biopsy of breast calcification. As the recommended guidance,mammography-guided localization and biopsy has certain limitations in localizing and biopsying breast calcification,however,high-resolution uhrasound makes it possible to localize the nonpalpable calcification in breast, and which has a certain advantage.

Objective To observe the estrogenic activity of octylphenol(OP) in vitro and to conduct a preliminary study of its mechanism. Methods The estrogenic activity of OP was detected by cell proliferation test of MCF 7 cells in vitro and the mechanism was preliminarily studied by growth curve analysis, cell cycle analysis, tamoxifen(Tam) antagonistic test and apoptosis detection. Results OP was found to have estrogenic activity to stimulate the proliferation of MCF 7 cells. Cell cycle analysis revealed that the cell proliferation indexes of OP and 17? estradiol(E 2) were higher than those of alcohol. The estrogenic activities of OP and E 2 to stimulate the proliferation of MCR 7 could be antagonized by Tam. Both OP and E 2 could inhibit the cell apoptosis of MCF 7 cells. Conclusion OP possesses estrogenic activity to stimulate the proliferation of MCF 7 cells. The mechanism may be due to binding to the estrogen receptor, which may have effect on cell proliferation and apoptosis.

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a transitional stage between normal aging and dementia. The main characteristic of the patients with MCI is the impairment of episodic memory in which hippocampus plays an important role. Therefore, the detection of structural and functional changes of hippocampus will be the key to early diagnosis of MCI. This paper presents a brief overview of recent study about hippocampal magnetic resonance imaging of MIC.
