Objective To standardize the labels used for publications that funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China projects. Methods Through WANFANG database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (NCKI), we screened all the publications that authors were from our hospital as well as marked withsupported by National Natural Science Foundation of China from 2010 to 2014.Then, we analyzed these publications to find out the inappropriate utilizations. Results There were 48 publications that related to projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, in which 11 publications with improper mark. For example, project names were marked without standardization, multiple projects funding were labeled, and the permission from the project PI was absent. Conclusions Clarify the problems in the mark of National Natural Science Foundation of China project.Through strengthening training and management, put an end to the improper labeling.

Objective To investigate the current situation of the use of standard medical terminologies in journal, and analysis the reasons and then find the solutions. Methods Through searching the WANFANG database, we selected the nonstandard and standard terms of 100 common medical terminologies as Search Words, all the fields as Search Options to trace articles in periodicals from Jan.2011 to Dec.2013.After getting the top ten ranked words, the rate of use of the standard terms was analyzed. Results Some journals still use nonstandard terms, standard terms were mixed up with nonstandard terms in all of the 100 medical terminologies. Conclusions More attention should be paid to the use of the standard medical terms in periodicals to unify and standardize the use of medical terms.

Objective To examine the effect of fibronectin connecting segment-1 (CS1) peptidefacilitated blockade of inflammatory cells-fibronectin adhesion on a rat liver transplantation model of prolonged ex vivo cold ischemia. Methods A model of liver transplantation in Wistar→Wistar rat was established. The donors of the CS1 treatment group received CS1 peptides through the tail vein for 3 days before operation.Another two doses of CS1 peptides were administered into the liver intraportally during procurement and before transplantion.Recipients received an additional 3-day course of CS1 peptides after transplantation.Rats in control group received scrambled peptides.Rats were sacrificed at 6,24 and 72 h after transplantion, and plasma transaminase activity and hepatic pathological changes were studied. The inflammatory cells and liver sinusoidal endothelial cells were visualized histochemically.Real-time PCR was used to detect tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) mRNA expression in the liver. Results The plasma transaminase activity and hepatic necrosis areas in CS1 treatment group were significantly lower than in control group (P<0.05).CS1 peptides treatment significantly decreased the number of Kupffer cells after transplantation and greatly inhibited the recruitment of neutrophils to the graft liver as compared with control group (P<0.05).After prolonged cold ischemia, only a few hepatic endothelial cells exhibited positive staining of hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cell biomarker SE-1.Lots of hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells positive for SE-1 staining could be detected in CS1 group at 72 h after transplantation, while much less SE-1 positive cells presented in the control goup.Prolonged cold ischemia caused a significant increase of TNF-α,IL-1β and VEGF mRNA expression in the graft liver of control group after transplantation. The expression of TNF-α mRNA at 6 and 24 h and VEGF mRNA expression at 24 h were significantly lower in CS1 group than in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Peptide-mediated blockade of inflammatory cells-fibronectin interaction decreased the mRNA expression of inflammatory cytokines, prevented hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cells from injury and subsequently protected against severe ischemia/reperfusion injury of the graft liver after transplantation.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(3):230-234
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the recurrence rate of nasal inverted papilloma treating by endoscopic and non-endoscopic approach.
METHOD:
A search on Pubmed, Medline, Springer and Elsevier databases was done to collect the reports (2001-2013) concerning different surgery treating nasal inverted papillomas, and meta-analysis was performed with RevMan 5.0 software.
RESULT:
Twelve papers (2001-2013) concerning the different surgery approach treating nasal inverted papillomas were retrieved. The heterogeneity test indicated that the 12 studies were consistent statistically (Q = 14.64, df = 11, P = 0.20), the data from these 12 studies could be analyzed by fixed effect model. After combination of these data, those of 1012 subjects accepted endoscopic surgical intervention and 359 subjects treating by non-endoscopic surgical intervention were collected. Test of overall effect by fixed effect model showed that the recurrence rate of inverted papilloma was significantly lower in endoscopic group than in non-endoscopic group (OR = 0.49, 95% CI was 0.35-0.69, P < 0.01). Funnel plot implied that publication bias was not obvious.
CONCLUSION
The recurrence rate of inverted papilloma was significantly lower in endoscopic group than in non-endoscopic group.

Objective To compare the effects of UVA irradiation on cell morphology, quantity and expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) mRNA and protein in human fibroblasts versus a kerati- nocyte cell line HaCaT.Methods Human fibroblasts and HaCaT cells were cultured and irradiated by 5 J/cm~2 UVA.Then,at 24,48 and 72 h after the stimulation, the cell morphology was observed under an in- verted microscope, and iNOS mRNA and protein were measured by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry method, respectively. Results After the irradiation, human fibroblasts showed shrinkage at the three time points, the quantities of the cells began to decrease significantly at 24 h (P

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(6):425-429
Objective To observe the efficacy of self-made Arnebiae oil by our hospital on phaseⅠandⅡpressure ulcers. Methods A total of 324 pressure wounds of 283 cases collected from March 2014 to August 2015 were randomly divided into the observation group (145 cases) and the control group (138 cases). The control group received Kangfuxin solution in conjunction with conventional pressure ulcer care treatment, the observation group were treated with Arnebiae oil and conventional pressure ulcer care treatment. The therapeutic effect and healing time of both groups were compared. Results Arnebiae oil was effective in 96.97% (160/165) of the pressure ulcer patients and cured 84.85% (140/165) patients in the observation group. Nearly 84.91%(135/159) patients were effective and 50.94%(81/159) patients were cured in the control group. There was statistical significance (χ2=42.93, 14.46, P<0.01). The healing time was (8.78±4.27) d in the observation group and (10.46±3.99) d in the control group with significance(t=2.88, P< 0.05). The healing rates of Arnebiae oil sacrococcygeal region, hips, legs and other parts were 87.96%(95/108), 9/10, 12/16, 9/9, significantly higher than those of the control group, 46.43%(39/84), 6/12, 3/9, 9/15, the difference had statistical significance (χ2=4.02-44.35, P<0.05). Conclusion Arnebiae oil com-bined with the overall care can improve the rate of wound healing in aged pressure ulcer, which is suitable for clinical application.

Microbiology 2008;0(11):-
A new wood-degrading fungus Monodictys asperospera(Cooke & Massee) Ellis with a high level of laccase production was chosen to study. This laccase was purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation,DEAE-cellulose and sephacryl S-300.Purification of about 8.1 fold was achieved with an overall yield of 5.7%.Its molecular weight was estimated to be about 77 kD.The optimum temperature and pH of the lac-case activity were 55?C and 6.0,respectively.Kinetic studies of the laccase showed that the Km and the Vmax for using syringaldazine as substrate was 0.163 mmol/L and 0.194 mmol/(L.min),respectively.The carbo-hydrate content was 18.14%.In addition,it was found that laccase activity was significantly inhibited by Cu2+.
