1.Recent progress in the improvement of the coupling efficiency of "difficult sequences" in peptide synthesis
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2007;42(2):111-117
Even though chemistry is now in place that potentially allows high coupling efficiencies to be attained, successful coupling is usually a challenge when so-called "difficult sequences" is encountered in peptide synthesis. Some factors that affect the coupling efficiency have been discussed and related methods to overcome those obstacles have been introduced in present review. All suggestions proposed here are valuable and also feasible to improve the coupling completeness in both liquid-phase or solid-phase peptide synthesis.
2.Relationship between the fever caused by infection and the damage in acute cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(9):543-544
ObjectiveTo investigate relationship between the temperature rising caused by infection in acute period of cerebral infarction and the prognosis.Methods68 patients with temperature rising caused by infection in acute period of cerebral infarction was observed as the observation group. The level of neurological deficit, space of infarct, location and prognosis in the study group was compared with normal temperature as the control group.ResultsThere was significant difference between observation group and control group in the level of neurological deficit, space of infarct, location and prognosis(P<0.01).ConclusionFever caused by infection can deteriorate cerebral ischemia.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study clinical feature, pathology, treatment and outcome of acute renal failure(ARF) in idiopathic nephrotic syndrome(IDNS).Methods History-taking of 38 cases were carried out all detailly 24-hour urine protein, biochemistry markers, hemorheology, renal histopathology were detected. Results The study fandings that 82 percent of patients were less than 40 years old,76 3 percent were male,74 percent(28 patients) were non-oliguria and 52 6 percent were minimal change glomerulonephritis through the renipuncture, most of the cases had edema of interstitium, by give prednisone of standard dosage, symptomatic treatment or dialysis the satisfying efficacy was got. Conclusions The main features of IDNS complicated with ARF are usual,it is non-oliguria type in clinic minimal glomerulonephritis in pathology, and deficient blood volume leads to occurrence of ARF,but the renal function could be recovered by give prednisone of routine dosage, symptomatic treatment and hemodialysis therapy.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Seven compounds were isolated from the alcohol extract of leaves of Ipomoea batafas Lam,by column chromatography on silica gel. They were identified by physical and chemical methods as quercetin-3-glucoside (Ⅰ), kaempferol-4', 7-dimethyl ether(Ⅱ), ombuin (Ⅲ),quercetin (Ⅳ), quercetin-3', 4', 7-trimethyl ether(Ⅴ), ?-sitosterol (Ⅵ) and sucrose (Ⅶ).All of them were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of modified B-lynch suture in the treatment of patients with pernicious placenta pre-via.Methods A total of 46 patients with pernicious placenta previa in our hospital were randomly divided into the modified B-lynch suture treatment group(modified group)and the conventional therapy group(convention group),with 23 cases in each group. The operation time, menstrual recovery time and lochia sanguinea time, postpartum hemorrhage, intraoperative blood soss, abnormal temperature time, placenta ac-creta,hysterectomy and neonatal asphyxia between the two groups were compared. Results The intraoperative blood soss and postpartum hemorrhage of modified group was less than those of convention group, the menstrual recovery time was shorter than that of convention group and the rate of resection of uterine was lower than that of conventional group, with significant difference (P <0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in operation time, abnormal temperature time, lochia sanguinea time, placenta accreta and neonatal asphyxia between two groups (P >0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of modified B-lynch suture in the treatment of dangerous placenta previa is significant.

Chinese Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine 2003;0(05):-
Objective To study the pulmonary function changes in patients cured from severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) Methods Pulmonary function tests were performed in 11 SARS patients one month after their discharge from hospital Results The subjects (3 males and 9 females) were aged from 21 to 62 years (31 0?10 0) The days after their discharge from hospital were 22 to 43 days (32 2?4 7) Pulmonary function showed:vital capacity(VC) (95 6?19 0)% predicted, forced vital capacity(FVC) (97 2?9 9)% predicted, forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV 1)(97 5?9 8)% predicted,FEV 1/FVC (85 9?5 6)%,total lung capacity(TLC) (102 4?10 4)% predicted, residual volume(RV)/TLC (32 6?5 0)%,RV (116 8?25 0)% predicted, and diffusing capacity of CO(DLCO) (73 6?10 9)% predicted Conclusion The patients cured from SARS demonstrated relatively normal ventilatory function but mild impaired diffusing capacity

Objective To investigate the influence of Mycoplasma pneumonia (MP) on the levels of interferon (IFN)-γ,interleukin (IL)-4 and IL-5 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of BALB/c mice infected by MP,and to study whether MP infection may be involved in the pathogenesis of asthma through the pathway of influencing T helper type 1 (Th1)/T helper type 2 (Th2) immune response. Methods Forty BALB/c mice were randomly divided into two groups, control group and MP infected group, each group 20 mice. The BALF of MP infected group was respectively collected after MP infection at 3,7,14,21 days, each time 5 mice. The levels of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Results The levels of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 increased in MP infected group compared with control group, the differences were significant respectively (P < 0.05).The levels of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 reached the peak at 7 d after MP infection. The IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio was significantly lower in MP infected group than control group, and achieved the trough at 7 d,the difference was significant (P < 0.05).Conclusion MP infection can lead to the increased level of IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 in BALF of BALB/c mice, peaked at 7 d.MP infection can increase the discharging of Th1 cytokines and Th2 cytokines, induce Th1/Th2 immune response disequilibrium, and it may be involved in the pathogenesis of asthmatic airway inflamation through the pathway.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1997;0(06):-
Objective To compare the therapeutic efficacy of various thrombolytic ways for deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity (DVTLE). Methods Three ways of medications were used in this series, one way was via systematic, one way was via local deep vein by puncture, and another way was to block the proximal and the medication was given through the distal part of the great saphenous vein. Results The 3 thrombolytic ways on treating DVTLE had different efficacies. The best way was the latest way. Conclusions The best way in treating DVTLE is local thrombolysis via superficial vein medication.
