3.The Mechanisms of Organophosphorus Pesticides-induced Hyperglycemia:a Review of Recent Researches
Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(03):-
As one of important sorts of pesticides, organophosphorus pesticides(OPPs) are used widely in the world. They can cause serious environmental problems and have some adverse effects on the health of people and animals. They can induce acute neurotoxicity and delayed neurotoxicity, and result in the damages of organs. The objective of this paper is to provide a brief review of the mechanisms involved in the OPPs-induced hyperglycemia.OPPs can influence body glucose homeostasis by several mechanisms including oxidative stress, nitrosative stress, inhibition of cholinesterase, inhibition of paraoxonase, disturbance in metabolism of liver tryptophan and so on.
4.Effects of pulmonary rehabilitation program on the depression and exercise capacity and pulmonary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
The Journal of Practical Medicine 2015;(19):3159-3161
Objective To investigate the effects of pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) on the depression and exercises capacity and pulmonary function in elderly patients with stable moderate-to-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 38 participants [(68.01 ± 5.27) years old; moderate 28, severe 10] were en-rolled in a 6-month PR program with exercise training. Subjects measurements were made of the Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale (CES-D), 6-minute walk test (6MWT) and pulmonary function. Result The CES-D Scores before and after PR were 23.94 ± 4.86 vs. 14.66 ± 2.47, P = 0.000; 6 MWT and the percent of the predicted FEV1 before and after PR were (353.6 ± 27.90)m vs. (276.8 ± 30.95)m, P = 0.000, 58.09 ± 8.77 vs. 58.34 ± 7.94, P > 0.05. CES-D scores and exercise capacity improved after PR. But PR contributes nothing to the improvement of pulmonary function. Conclusion Although the PR improves the depression and exercise capacity in elderly patients with stable moderate-to-severe COPD , no statistically significant correlation was ob-served between depression scores and 6MWD and the percent of the predicted FEV1.

Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2001;0(05):-
Objective To analyze the influence of elderly dementia living in urban and rural areas of Beijing on their survival rate. Methods The elderly people with dementia aged 60 years and over lived in Beijing was investigated since 1997 by two step method and the mortality of the same population was followed up in 2000. Results A total of 2 788 patients were collected in 1997, and 2 721 of them were visited in 2000. Sixty seven(2 4%) of them were lost for follow up due to making a move and other reasons. Among the followed 2 721 cases , 2 307 were still alive (82 7%) and 414 died (14 9%), with the annual fatality rate being 3 79%(standardized). For all 205 cases diagnosed as dementia in 1997, the accumulated fatality rate was 42 46%(standardized), being 5 folds of the fatality for the non dementia. No significant difference was found in the fatality rate between male and female dementia. The fatality of dementia in rural area and over 75 years of age increased. Age and living conditions influenced significantly the fatality, and the fatality rate increased in patients with dementia and dysfunction of body moving. Conclusions Dementia is a disease impacting seriously the survival of elderly people.

7.Influence of post-discharge continuous nursing intervention on psychological quality and compliance with immunosuppressants treatment in patients with renal transplantation
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(27):27-29
Objective To explore the effects of postdischarge follow-up continuous nursing intervention on the psychological quality and compliance of immunosuppressants treatment in patients with kidney transplantation. Methods 157 patients with kidney transplantation post-operation were recruited,81 cases in the study group and 76 cases in the control group randomly. The control group received routine hospital discharge care and immunosuppressants treatment. The study group received postdischarge followup nursing intervention and immunosuppressants treatment. After 6 months of postdischarge intervention, the psychological quality of patients in two groups was assessed by the emotion application measure scale separately. The Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8-item version (MMAS 8-item version) was used for the assessment of the immunosuppressants treatment compliance of the two groups of patients. Results After 6-month intervention, the patients in the study group showed better psychological quality than the patients in the control groups. There were significant differences in the various items of assessments of the psychological quality between the two groups. The high compliance percentage of immunosuppressants treatment of the study group was 45.7%,whereas the high compliance percentage of the control group was 22.4%.The differences between the two groups were significant. Conclusions Post-discharge follow-up nursing intervention to patients with kidney tranplantantion is effective for improving the psychological quality and the immunosuppressants treatment compliance and may be helpful to improve the life quality of the patients.
8.Molecular abnormality of cardiocyte mitochondrial membrane in diabetic cardiomyopathy
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(09):-
Diabetic cardiomyopathy is one of the main causes of death in diabetic patients.Mitochondrial dysfunction plays a key role in the development of diabetic cardiomyopathy, and mitochondrial function depends on the stabilization of the mitochondrial membrane structure.Studies on the molecular alteration and the underlying mechanism of the cardiocyte mitochondrial membrane of the diabetic heart may give us deeper insights into diabetic cardiomyopathy, and help us make a breakthrough in the therapeutic strategies.
9.Application of NAT Connection Between Configuration Hospital and Medicare Data Center
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(11):-
Objective In order to meet the needs of Medicare patients, hospitals use existing network equipment to implement the connection with Data Center of Medicare without changing the present frame. Methods Network Address Translation function (NAT) was used to translate equipment IP address that hospital needs to connect with data center of Medicare into legal IP address in data center of medicare. Results The author used existing NAT function of equipment to reduce the repeating purchase for network equipment and successfully realized the connection between hospital and Data Center of Medicare. Conclusion Using NAT devices not only does not need to change the local IP address but effectively overcomes the lack of legal IP addresses, and what's more, network security is further strengthened.
10.Roles of NPC1 and NPC2 in intracellular lipid homeostasis
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
Niemann-pick protein C1(NPC1) is a large integral membrane glycoprotein that resides in late endosomes, whereas niemann-pick protein C2(NPC2) is a small soluble protein found in the lumen of lysosomes.NPC1 protein is believed to facilitate the transport of lipids, particularly cholesterol, from late endosomes/lysosomes to the Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum and plasma membrane.NPC2 primarily plays a role in the egress of cholesterol and glycolipids from lysosomes.Mutations in either NPC1 or NPC2 result in aberrant lipid transport from endocytic compartments, which results in lysosomal storage of a complex mixture of lipids, primarily cholesterol and glycosphingolipids. The NPC proteins regulate sterol homeostasis through production of LDL cholesterol-derived oxysterols.Oxysterols are endogenous ligands for the liver X receptors(LXRs),which can upregulate ATP binding cassette transporter A1(ABCA1) expression.ABCA1 may have antiatherogenic effects through the efflux of it-mediated cholesterol.Meanwhile,NPC1 heterozygote mutation confers substantial resistance to lesional necrosis and lesional macrophage apoptosis.Study of the NPC proteins will help us for further understanding of the mechanisms involved in atherogenesis.
