1.Personality and mental health of supercargoes
Chinese Journal of Health Management 2010;04(6):359-361
Objective To investigate mental health and personality characteristics of supercargoes. Methods Catell 16 Personality Factor Test (16PF) and Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) were used in 470 supercargoes for quantitative analysis. Pearson correlation analysis, multiple regressions and t test were used for data analysis. Results The participants showed a significantly lower score, although specific items were higher than normal models. There was no difference in different age groups. 16PF were positively correlated with total score of SCL-90, except for gregariousness, intelligence, ambition, fantasy,worldly-wisdom,creativity and independency. All factors in SCL-90 were significantly related with the subfactor (i. e. adaptation and anxiety) of 16PF. Conclusion The mental health of supercargoes may not be optimistic, and the personality problems may have some effects on their mental health.

With the development of the times and the constant change of the forms of labor, it is imperative to explore the value of labor and principle of distribution of medical workers. The authors first describe a number of relevant concepts, including instruments of labor, forms of labor, value of labor, and human resources. Then they analyze the value of labor of medical workers and their administrators, including the features and forms of the creation of value by medical workers and their administrators. Finally, they expound the importance of deepening reform in the distribution system of medical institutions. By analyzing the theoretical basis for readjusting the distribution mechanism, they put forward the principles of giving expression to the creation of the value of labor in readjusting the distribution system and taking efficiency, capital and production factors into account in distribution and offer suggestions respectively for the reform of the distribution system in profit and non profit medical institutions.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(06):-
The authors first expound the relationship between individual appraisal of the composition of human resources and hospital development. Then they identify the errors that exist at present in the understanding of human resources and discuss the connotations of human resources. Finally they describe the role of human resources and the correlation between population, manpower, human resources and super-simple, fairly simple, simple, complex, fairly complex, and super-complex labor. It is argued that appraisal of medical personnel in terms of human resources. should be conducted from two major aspects: ①appraisal of the individual, including physique, intelligence, morality and aesthetic assessment with 6 sub-items, educational effect assessment with 2 sub-items, covert knowledge assessment with 3 sub-items, and wisdom manifestation assessment with 5 sub-items; ②appraisal of adaptation to external environment, including assessment of the knowledge content of the production means of the post with 4 sub-items, and adaptability to social environment with 8 sub-items. At the same time adaptation strategies for medical personnel are also presented.

This study was aimed to create a method for content determination of quercetin, luteolin and kaempferol in flowers of Dimocarpus longan Lour. from different habitats of Guangxi province by HPLC. The samples were sepa-rated on the Hypersil C18 column (250 mm í 4.6 mm, 5 μm) which was eluted with methanol-0.2% phosphoric acid solution (47:53) with detective wavelength at 360 nm, flow rate at 1.0 mL·min-1, and column temperature at 30℃. The results showed that this method had a good linear relationship within the range of 0.18 to 2.88 μg for quercetin, 0.059 to 0.944 μg for luteolin, and 0.024 to 0.384 μg for kaempferol (r = 0.9999). The average recovery rate was 100.06% (RSD = 1.72%), 99.77% (RSD = 1.18%) and 98.67% (RSD = 1.99%, n = 9), respectively. It was conclud-ed that this method is simple, rapid, reliable and with good repeatability, which can be used in the quality control of flowers of Dimocarpus longan Lour.

Objective To evaluate the clinical presentations, pathologic characteristics, and the diagnosis and treatment of eosinophilic cystitis. Methods Two cases of eosinophilic cystitis were analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed.Case 1,a 63-year-old man, complained of voiding urgency and frequency, dysuria, intermittent hematuria, and lower abdominal pain.Cystoscopic examination showed that an about 5cm?3cm abnormal focus was 0.2-0.4 cm above bladder mucosa at the fundus of the bladder.Case 2,a 42-year-old woman, complained of voiding urgency and frequency, dysuria, and suprapubic pain with intermittent hematuria.Cystoscopic examination showed that about 4 cm?3 cm?2 cm abnormal foci of cauliflower-like were 0.3-0.4 cm above bladder mucosa at the fundus and neck of the bladder.Imaging examinations(Bultrasound,CT and IVU) showed diffuse thickening of bladder wall and tumor-like lesions. They both underwent transurethral resection of the lesions and were treated with oral steroids and antibiotics. Results Postoperative pathology confirmed eosinophilic cystitis in both cases. The follow-up was 6 months. The voiding symptoms disappeared, and imaging examinations showed no space-occupying lesions of the bladder in them.Up to now, there has no evidence of relapse. Conclusions Eosinophilic cystitis is a very rare tumor-like inflammatory disease. It is easily misdiagnosed as bladder neoplasm.Cystoscopy and biopsy are gold standard for the diagnosis.Current treatment modalities include transurethral resection of the bladder lesion along with nonspecific medical therapy.

Objective To evaluate the effects of intrathecal low-dose naloxone, morphine and fentanyl on the expression of motillin (MTL) in the hippocampus of rats with incisional pain. Methods Seventy-two healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 180-220 g,aged 6-8 weeks,in which intrathecal catheters were successfully implanted, were randomly divided into 6 groups (n =12 each) using a random number table:normal saline group (NS group),incisional pain group (P group),morphine + fentanyl + incisional pain group (MFP group),and naloxone (0.2,1.0 and 5.0 ng/kg) + morphine + fentanyl groups (MFPN1,MFPN2 and MFPN3 groups).Incisional pain was induced by an incision made into the plantar surface of the right hindpaw. At 20 min before induction of incisional pain, the mixture of morphine 5 μg/kg and fentanyl 0.25 mg/kg was injected intrathecally in group MFP,and the mixture of naloxone 0.2,1.0 and 5.0 ng/kg,morphine and fentanyl were injected intrathecally in MFPN1,MFPN2 and MF-PN3 groups, respectively.Six rats in each group were selected, and the mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (MWT) and thermal paw withdrawal latency (TWL) were measured at 24 h before intrathecal catheterization (T0,baseline),at 24 h before induction of incisional pain (T1),and at 1,3 and 6 h after operation (T2-4).The left 6 rats in each group were selected and sacrificed at 6 h after operation, and the hippocampi, body of the stomach and duodenum were removed for detection of MTL content by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with group NS,the MWT was significantly decreased, and the TWL was shortened at T2-4 in P and MFPN3 groups, the MWT was significantly decreased, and the TWL was shortened at T4 in group MFPN1,and the TWL was prolonged at T2 in group MFPN2,the MTL contents in hippocampus and body of the stomach were significantly decreased in P,MFP,MFPN1 and MF-PN3 groups, the MTL contents in duodenum were increased in P and MFPN3 groups, and the MTL contents in duodenum were decreased in MFP and MFPN1 groups (P<0.05),and no significant change was found in the parameters mentioned above in group MFPN2 (P>0.05).Conclusion Intrathecal naloxone 1.0 ng/kg combined with morphine and fentanyl can inhibit up-regulation of the expression of MTL in the hippocampus of rats with incisional pain, and then is involved in the maintenance of stable gastrointestinal motility.
