OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound zinc sulfate oral solution and establish its quality control method. METHODS: The oral solution was prepared with zinc sulfate and lysine hydrochloride as chief components. The content of lysine hydrochloride was determined by coordination titration and uv spectrophotometry, respectively, and the stability of the preparation was investigated. RESULTS: The oral solution was colorless or yellowish, with its identification and test results all in conformity with the related stipulation stated in Chinese Pharmacopeia(2005 edition). The average content of zinc sulfate labeled in the sample stood at 101%. The linear range of lysine hydrochloride was 3.2~9.6 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9) and its average recovery rate was 99.75%(RSD=0.27%, n=6). The preparation was stable within 6 months storing under room temperature. CONCLUSION: This preparative technology of compound zinc sulfate oral solution is simple and feasible, and the quality of which is stable and controllable.

Objective To investigate the calculi composition of patients with urinary calculi in Henan area and the clinical significance of preventing calculi recurrence with individualized method. Methods From August 2009 to July 2010,1050 patients in our hospital underwent extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and ureteroscopy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy were set as the experimental group, all stone specimens were detected with the BRUKER TENSOR27 infrared spectroscopy for analysis of stone composition, and nurse on duty gave instructions according to the stone composition to prevent recurrence. From July 2008 to July 2009 1010 patients in our hospital underwent extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, ureteroscope and percutaneous nephrolithotomy were set as the control group, patients in the control group were not given calculi component analysis and these patients received general prevention guidance. The calculi recurrence was compared between two groups. Results Among 1050 cases in the experimental group, urinary calculi with single component accounted for 46.29%,of which calcium oxalate stones accounted for 44.95%.Calculi with mixed components accounted for 53.71%,mainly were calcium oxalate and carbonate apatite mixture components (30.48%).57 cases (5.43%) occurred urinary stone recurrence in the experimental group, while 177 cases(17.52%) in the control group. The difference had statistical significance. Conclusions Urinary calculi analysis has important clinical significance for understanding the causes and treatment of calculi as well as prevention of recurrence of calculi.

BACKGROUND:Tranexamic acid is a synthetic anti-fibrinolytic drug, and can effectively control blood loss after total knee arthroplasty through vein. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of tranexamic acid in reducing blood loss after primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty. METHODS:From 2014 to 2015, 100 patients from the Department of Lower Limb, Sichuan Orthopaedic Hospital underwent primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty, and randomly divided into test group which used tranexamic acid and control group which used tranexamic acid, with 50 cases in each group. 1 g tranexamic acid was infused into the vein at 10 minutes before total knee arthroplasty in the test group, but tranexamic acid was not given in the control group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The amount of total blood loss, postoperative wound drainage in 24 hours, and the amount of blood transfusion were significantly less in the test group than in the control group (P < 0.05). No significant differences in intraoperative blood loss and the number of patients receiving blood transfusion were found between the test and control groups. No significant difference in preoperative hemoglobin levels was detected before surgery, but hemoglobin levels were decreased after surgery between the two groups. Postoperative hemoglobin levels were apparently higher in the test group than in the control group after surgery. At 24 hours after surgery, no significant difference in coagulation was detectable between the two groups. At 6 days, double lower limb vein color Doppler ultrasound examination did not reveal deep vein thrombosis in both groups. These findings verify that treatment with tranexamic acid in the vein before primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty can evidently diminish the amount of perioperative blood loss and blood transfusion, reduce the risk and cost of blood transfusion, which is good for rehabilitation and does not increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis.

Objective To compare the effects of peripatellar peripheral nerve partially and totally depolarized in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods 66 TKA patients were divided into partially depolarized group (A, 42 knees) and totally depolarized group (B, 38 knees). The scores of knee-joint, Feller and Visual Analogue Scale were recorded. Results There was no significant difference in all the scores between 2 groups before operation (P>0.05). All the scores improved after operation (P<0.05), however, there was still no significant difference between 2 groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Patellar peripheral nerve partially depolarization technique can reduce postoperative knee pain, which has the same effect with totally depolarization.

Objective:
To examine the correlation between the promoter methylation of Sterol regulatory-element binding protein-2 (SREBP-2) and miR-33a expression as well as serum markers in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).
Methods:
The case-control study. 100 participants who underwent coronary angiography from August 2017 to April 2018 in TaiheHospital, Hubei University of Medicine, were recruited in this study. The methylation level of two fragments, including 12 CpG sites in the promoter region of SREBP-2, have been detected by pyrosequencing in 50 patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) and 50 non-CAD controls. Serum miR-33a level and a panel of 15 CAD related biomarkers were examined by qPCR and routine biochemistry methods.
Results:
Methylation level of one CpG site (F1-4 loci) in SREBP-2 promoter region were significant higher in CAD patients than in controls(4.56%±0.70%

Objective To establish a HPLC method for simultaneously determining the content of dexamethasone ace-tate ,camphor and phenol in compound cream .Methods The separation was performed on a SHIADZU-GL Inertsil? ODS-3 RP C18 analytical column with the mobile phase consisting of methanol-water (60:40) .The flow rate was 1 .0 ml/min .The detection wave length was 285 nm and the column temperature was 40 ℃ .Results Dexamethasone acetate ,camphor and phe-nol showed good linearity (r> 0 .9995 , n= 7) within the concentration range of 4 .024-40 .24 ,101 .7-2033 and 10 .38-425 .2 μg/ml ,respectively . The average recovery of dexamethasone acetate ,camphor and phenol was 101 .2% (RSD was 0.56% ) ,99 .89% (RSD was 0 .72% ) ,100 .2% (RSD was 0 .97% ) ,respectively .Moreover ,the RSDs were less than 1 .5% in the repeated tests .Conclusion The method was simple ,quick and accurate .It is suitable for the quality control of dexametha-sone acetate camphor and phenol cream .
