Sensory, chemical, microbiological quality and bacterial flora on fresh Pseudosciaena crocea were qualitatively and quantitatively investigated. The results showed that total viable counts and total volatile basic nitrogen reached 5. 51?0. 25Log10cfu/g, 7. 84?2. 25mg/100g respectively. 279 strains of bacteria were isolated and 84.2% of them were gram negative bacteria, a small percentages of gram positive bacteria were detected (6. 1% ) . The predominant bacterial floras were composed of Enterobacteriaceae (14. 7% ), Aeromonas spp. (12. 5% ), Acinetobacter spp. (11. 5% ) and Moraxella spp. (11. 1% ) . A few percent of Pseudomonas spp. , Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and other bacteria were also found. The high number of Enterobacteriaceae showed that bacterial contamination on Pseudosciaena crocea, was mainly from cultural water field and polluted seriously by non-borne bacteria, and it should be paid attention to.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Qingre Huashi Recipe (YHQHR, a recipe capable of supplementing qi, activating blood, clearing heat, and dissipating dampness) on ulcer healing and Helicobacter pylori (Hp) eradication rate in Hp positive peptic ulcer patients, and to explore coccoid Hp occurrence in the eradication.
METHODSTotally 80 Hp positive peptic ulcer patients were assigned to the treatment group and the control groups by random digit table, 40 in each group. All patients received standard triple therapy of Western medicine for 2 successive weeks. Those in the control group additionally took omeprazole enteric coated tablet, 20 mg each time, once per day for 4 successive weeks. Those in the treatment group additionally took YHQHR, twice per day for 6 successive weeks. The ulcer healing was observed and recorded by gastroscope after discontinued medication of 14 days. The effective rate of ulcer healing under endoscope was statistically calculated. Rapid urease test (RUT) was performed in one small piece of tissue from corpora ventriculi and sinuses ventriculi using 14C breathe test (UBT). Gastric juice was collected from the stomach. Hp urease gene amplification test (urea A-PCR) was performed in living tissue from gastric antrum. Results obtained from the above three test methods were recorded and assessed to decide the final eradiation rate. Gastric mucosa tissue was observed under electron microscope, attempting to find non-eradicated Hp, which was further observed.
RESULTSThe total curative effect under gastroscope was 97.5% (39/40 cases) in the treatment group, obviously higher than that in the control group (80.0%, 32/40 cases) (P < 0.05). The eradication rate of Hp was 75.0% (30/40 cases), obviously better than that of the control group (52.5%, 21/40 cases) (P < 0.05). The total positive Hp numbers after treatment was 14C UBT (12), RUT (8), and urea A-PCR (27), respectively. The Hp positive rate detected by 14C UBT and RUT was lower than the Hp positive rate detected by urea A-PCR (P < 0.05). Rod-like and coccoid Hp bacteria could be observed under electron microscope.
CONCLUSIONYHQHR combined standard triple therapy was more effective than standard triple therapy alone in promoting ulcer healing and elevating the eradication rate of Hp.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of electroacupuncture at "Zusanli" (ST 36) on the volume of hepatic blood flow, water ratio and plasma alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in rats with delayed fluid replacement after hemorrhagic shock and to provide the references for electroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) in treating hemorrhagic shock.
METHODSForty SD rats with hemorrhagic shock induced by bloodletting 40% of whole blood volume were randomly divided into a hemorrhage with no treatment (NT) group, an immediate fluid replacement (IFR) group, an electroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) and delayed fluid resuscitation (EA/DFR) group and a sham electroacupuncture and delayed fluid replacement (SEA/DFR) group, 10 rats in each group. No treatment was performed in NT group. IFR group was treated with fluid replacement at 10 minutes after blood loss, and EA/DFR group was treated with electroacupuncture at "Zusanli" (ST 36) at 10 minutes after blood loss, while non-acupoint was punctured in SEA/DFR group. Two EA groups were received delayed fluid replacement at 3 hours after blood loss. The volume of hepatic blood flow and ALT before blood loss and 3 h and 12 h after blood loss, and water ratio 12 h after blood loss were measured.
RESULTSAfter blood loss, all parameters in IFR group and EA/DFR group were improved significantly in contrast with those in NT group (all P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between SEA/DFR group and NT group. Three hours after blood loss, the hepatic blood flow of IFR group was significant higher than those of NT group, EA/DFR group and SEA/DFR group (all P < 0.05), while the plasma ALT of IFR group was significant lower than those of NT group, EA/DFR group and SEA/DFR group (all P < 0.05), and the plasma ALT of EA/DFR group was lower than those of NT group and SEA/DFR group (both P < 0.05), the hepatic blood flow of EA/DFR group showed no significant difference compared with that of SEA/DFR group (P > 0.05). Twelve hours after blood loss, the plasma ALT and the water ratio of EA/DFR group and IFR group were significant lower than those of NT group and SEA/DFR group (all P < 0.05), and the hepatic blood flow of EA/DFR group and IFR group was significant higher than those of NT group and SEA/DFR group (all P < 0.05), while the plasma ALT of IFR group was significant lower than that of EA/DFR group (P < 0.05), and the hepatic blood flow of IFR group was significant higher than that of EA/DFR group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at "Zusanli" (ST 36) has a protective effects for hepatic ischemic injury in rats with delayed fluid replacement after hemorrhagic shock.

OBJECTIVETo observe the protective effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Zusanli" (ST 36) on inflammatory injury induced by intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) in rats.
METHODSForty-eight Wistar rats were randomly divided into a sham injury group, a model group, an EA group and a sham EA group, 12 rats in each group. Intestinal I/R rat models were established by method of clamping with occlusion of superior mesenteric artery (SMA) for 45 min followed by reperfusion. The EA group was treated with EA (2.5 mA, 2 Hz/100 Hz, 0.5 h) at "Zusanli" (ST 36) 30 min before reperfusion, and at the same time, the sham EA group was treated with fast insertion at two non-meridian acupoints on skin surface (2 cm horizontally away from linea alba abdominis and about 5 cm paralleled to cartilago ensiformis downward). No interventions were added on the sham injury group and the model group. The degree of pathological injury in intestines, water rate of intestines, diamine oxidase (DAO) activity and intestinal mucosal blood flow (IMBF) were examined at 1 h and 3 h after reperfusion.
RESULTSAt 1 h and 3 h after reperfusion, the intestinal pathological injury in EA group was significantly attenuated compared with that in model group, and the intestinal water rate of (74.00 +/- 2.11)% and (78.78 +/- 0.80)% in EA group were significantly lower than (80.69 +/- 1.66)% and (83.17 +/- 2.08)% in model group (both P < 0.01), but DAO of (68.83 +/- 4.31) U/L and (47.84 +/- 5.57) U/L as well as IMBF of (152 +/- 5.8) PU and (139.8 +/- 6.1) PU in EA group were significantly higher than DAO of (32.86 +/- 4.72) U/L, (17.01 +/- 2.96) U/L as well as IMBF of (124.7 +/- 8.3) PU and (89.4 +/- 13.2) PU in model group (all P < 0.01). Meanwhile, the above mentioned changes in sham EA group showed no significant differences compared with those in model group (all P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture can not only reduce the inflammatory injury induced by intestinal IR but also increase intestinal blood supply so as to protect the intestine function.

Chinese Journal of Neuromedicine 2011;10(8):810-813
Objective To evaluate the value of 3.0T susceptibility-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (SWI) in the diagnosis of cerebrovascular malformations. Methods Forty-six patients with cerebrovascular malformations, admitted to our hospital fiom May 2008 to December 2010, were examined with a 3.0T MR scanner. All patients were examined with MRI conventional sequences T1WI,T2WI, 3DTOF, and their results were compared with SWI sequence so as to evaluate the value of SWI in the diagnosis of cerebrovascular malformations. Results Twenty-five patients had arteriovenous malformation (AVM), 10 with cavernous hemangioma, 8 with venous malformations, and 3 with telangiectasis in the 46 patients with cerebrovascular malformations. SWI could delineate all the cerebrovascular malformation lesions, especially small lesions, but could not display all supplying artery in AVM. 3DTOF was a better technique in delineating large AVM lesions. Conclusion SWI is much more sensitive in showing small cerebrovascular malformations; and combined with other MR sequences, clear diagnosis of cerebral vascular malformations can be made by SWI.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2005;30(1):32-37
OBJECTIVE:
To observe whether HSP70 could protect against H2O2-induced apoptosis in C2C12 myogenic cells by inhibiting Smac release from the mitochondria.
METHODS:
HSP70 gene and full length Smac gene was transiently transfected in C2C12 myogenic cells by lipofectamine and the protein levels of HSP70 and Smac were analysed by Western blotting. Hoechst 33 258 staining was used to examine cell morphological changes and to calculate percentage of apoptotic nuclei. DNA ladder pattern on agarose gel electrophoresis was used to observe the DNA fragmentation. Activities of caspase-3 and caspase-9 were assayed with Western blotting. The release of Smac from the mitochondria to the cytoplasm was observed by immunofluorescence.
RESULTS:
H2O2 ( 0.5 mmol/L ) activated caspase-3, caspase-9 8 h after the treatment and specific morphological changes of apoptosis 12 h after the treatment, and overexpression of Smac significantly promoted H2O2-induced activation of caspase-3, caspase-9 and apoptosis in C2C12 myogenic cells. HSP70 overexpression significantly inhibited H2O2-induced and Smac-promoted apoptosis, as shown by no specific DNA ladder pattern in agarose gel electrophoresis, decrease of percentage of apoptotic nuclei, and marked inactivation of caspase-3 and caspase-9. HSP70 could inhibit the release of Smac from the mitochondria to the cytoplasm 2 h after the treatment by H2O2.
CONCLUSION
HSP70 inhibits Smac release from the mitochondria and protects against H2O2-induced apoptosis in C2C12 myogenic cells.
