In this paper, the RP-HPLC specific chromatography was adopted, with DIKMA-C18 (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 µm) as the chromatographic column, with a gradient elution compose of acetonitrile and 0.1% phosphoric acid at flow rate of 0.8 mL · min(-1), the detection wavelength was 220 nm. The difference of the HPLC specific chromatograms between the Lu Dangshen and other different base sources and different producing area of Codonopsis Radix was compared, involved in the similarities and differences of the number and the relative peak area of characteristic peaks in the HPLC specific chromatograms. The HPLC specific chromatograms of Lu Dangshen was established and the relative retention times of seven peaks was determined, and the peaks of codonopyrrolidium B, syringin, lobetyolin, tangshenoside I and atractylenoide III were identified; The HPLC specific chromatograms of Lu Dangshen provided a method for scientific evaluation and effective control the quality of Lu Dangshen from Shanxi famous-region.

Six kinds of saponins (I, II, VII, PA, H) content of 22 samples of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis collected from different regions of Yunnan province were determined by HPLC, data was analyzed by SPSS 17. The results showed that the effect of altitude on saponin content was not significant, and the effect of growth area of saponins in P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis was significant, saponin content in sample from west Yunnan was significantly higher than that of samples from other regions.

6.Application and development of quantum dots in the imaging of lymph node metastasis.
Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery 2013;16(5):415-417
Quantum dots(QDs) are semiconductor nanocrystals composed of element from the periodic groups of II(-IIIIII( or III(-IIIII(, which possess wide excitation spectra and narrow emission spectra. The maximum emission wavelength of QDs can be controlled in a relatively simple manner by variation of particle size and composition. QDs can be tuned at a variety of precise wavelengths from ultraviolet(UV) to near infrared(NIR). QDs can be conjugated to a wide range of biological targets, including monoclonal antibodies, proteins, polymers and nucleic acid probes. These characteristics make it not only for revealing interaction of nucleic acids, proteins and other biological macromolecules, by biological imaging but also for detection of lymph node metastasis through preoperative and introperative lymphatic imaging. Along with the continuously improvement of observation techniques and quantum dot structure optimization in recent years, the research on lymph node imaging is ongoing.

Objective To study the value of the intervention of Nitroglycerin(NTG) on ~(99m)Tc-MIBI myocardial tomography imaging in the estimation of myocardial viability.Method According to the analysis of autologous electrocardiogram(ECG),a total of 66 patients with unstable angina(UA) was divided into group A and group B.The patients in group A were without old myocardial infarction and those of group B were with old myocardial infarction. The patients in the two groups were respectively underwent the resting ~(99m)Tc-MIBI myocardial tomography imaging and the NTG administration intervened the next day.The imaging was collected and tested by the computer. Results Of 594 myocardial segments in the 66 cases,242 segments(40.7%) in testing myocardial imaging were proved to be perfusion abnormal, while after the intervention of NTG administration, the perfusion of 114 segments(47.1%) had been improved according to the imaging. Conclusion The intervention of NTG administration on ~(99m)Tc-MIBI myocardial tomography imaging for myocardial viability is simple, safe, objective and accurate, which provides a forceful means for the post-operative evaluation and the selection of indication before the rebuilding of coronary artery of the UA patients.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare compound clemastine cream(COC)and to evaluate its clinical efficacy for the treatment of seasonal contact dermatitis in the face.METHODS:The preparation was obtained by traditional o/w method.94 outpatients and inpatients were randomly divided into active group(COC group)and control group(Kangfulire ointment group).RESULTS:The healing rate and the total efficient rate were significantly higher than those of control group(p<0.01,p<0.05).CONCLUSION:COC has reliable clinical efficacy and has little side effects,so it is one of the specific preparations for the treatment of contact dermatitis and it can be widely used in the clinics.

OBJECTIVEThe Chinese Children's Leukemia Group (CCLG)-acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) 08 protocol for childhood ALL was established in 2008. This study aims to evaluate the drug-related toxicities of CCLG-ALL 08 protocol in the treatment of childhood ALL.
METHODSA total of 114 children with newly diagnosed ALL were treated with the CCLG-ALL 08 protocol. The protocol was divided into five phases: remission induction (VDLD), early reinforcement (CAM), consolidation therapy, delayed reinforcement (DIa & DIb) and maintenance treatment. Drug-related toxicities in each phase were evaluated according to the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events version 4.0.
RESULTSToxicities were more frequent in phase VDLD than other treatment phases, including hepatotoxicity (87.7%), dental ulcer (20.2%), hyperglycemia (20.2%), prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time (21.1%) and decreased fibrinogen (34.2%), with the incidence rates of severe adverse events at 7%, 0, 1.3%, 0.8% and 2.7% respectively. The incidence of allergic reaction to L-ASP was significantly higher in phase DIa than in phase VDLD (28.0% vs 7.9%; P<0.01), and there were no longer any allergic reactions in 15 patients who received continuing treatment with pegaspargase instead. There was no severe arrhythmia, myocardial ischemia, decreased left ventricular function, osteonecrosis, myopathy, organ failure or treatment-related mortality.
CONCLUSIONSThe drug-related toxicities of CCLG-ALL 08 protocol are common in phase VDLD, but they are mild and reversible. There is no treatment-related mortality. The CCLG-ALL 08 protocol for childhood ALL is safe.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule-1(MAdCAM-1) during small bowel graft rejection and the effects of MAdCAM-1 on the development of acute rejection.
METHODSRat heterotopic small bowel transplantation (SBT) was performed in F344/N rats with syngeneic and allogeneic (BN-F344/N) grafts. Bowel and gut-associated lymphoid tissue(GALT) samples were collected from small bowel transplants on postoperative day(POD) 1, 3, 5 and 7. Histopathology assessment of the grafts was conducted to identify the rejection. MAdCAM-1 was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot.
RESULTSDuring acute rejection, MAdCAM-1 was highly-expressed on gut lamina propia and GALTs, particularly on vascular endothelial cells in the gut lamina propia. There were no change of MAdCAM-1 expression in syngeneic grafts from POD1 to POD7. In allogeneic grafts, MAdCAM-1 expression in mesenteric lymph nodes was down-regulated, while up-regulated on the vascular endothelial cells in the lamina propria during acute rejection.
CONCLUSIONAlteration of MAdCAM-1 expression may be associated with the development of SBT graft rejection.
