The pulse wave velocity(PWV)known as one of important monitoring methods in crowd more can precisely reveal the occurrence of cardiovascular events.The brachia-ankle PWV(baPWV)is referred to cosmically epidemiological study in crowd.PWV is known as a vicarious mark of arteriosclerotic burden and an independent risk factor.Moreover,used for decision the therapeutic effect.Our study initially showed that PWV was only a mark of cardiovascular events and was not a predict end point.
2.Analysis of serum lipid levels in elderly female cadre population in Tianjin

Objective To investigate the trend of blood lipid in female elderly with aging, and further discuss the strate?gies of blood lipid regulation therapy and prevent and control cardiovascular disease during senile period. Methods Physi?cal examination data of 847 elderly female cadres (in 1 837 females) were analyzed to investigate the general level and abnor?mality features of blood lipid in this elderly female group. Results The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triacylglycerol (TG), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and body mass index (BMI) were significantly higher in elderly group than those of non-elderly group (P<0.01). The levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, LDL-C/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C, and non-HDL-C increased with aging, and then decreased at the same age group, and reached the peak value at 60 to 69 years old. The level of HDL-C showed a reverse pattern, decreased with aging first and then increased at the same group, and reached the bottom at 60 to 69 years old. Conclusion In this elderly female cadre population, the level of blood lipid changes regularly with aging, indicat?ing the high risk of cardiovascular disease.
3.Studies on the Chemical Constituents in the Fruit of Panax quinquefolius

Four compounds were isolated from the fruit of Panax quinquefolius L. , They were iden-tified as 20 (R)-ginsenoside-Rg3( Ⅲ ), ginsenoside-Ra1( Ⅱ ), pseudo ginsenoside-RTs (iⅣ) and a new com-pound named quinquetriose ( Ⅰ ). Its structure was established as β3-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→6)-α-D-glucopy-ranosyl (1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside, on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidences.
4.Progress of cell death induced by Neddylation modification pathway inhibitor MLN4924

Protein ubiquitin-like modification of Neddylation is an important post-translational modification mode of protein to widely regulate cell cycle, growth, development and other biological processes. Recent studies have found that MLN4924, small molecule inhibitor of Neddylation modification, has a significant anti-tumor effect, which can inhibit the tumor growth by inducing cell cycle arrest, senescence and apoptosis, and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. This paper reviews the related mechanism research of cell programmed death induced by Neddylation modification pathway inhibitor MLN4924.
5.Initial Study on Coronary Arterial Remodeling of Patients with Coronary Artery Disease

Objective To initially evaluate the coronary arterial remodeling of the patients with coronary artery disease by use of intravascular unltrasound(IVUS).Methods 28 consecutive patients with coronary artery disease were randomly divided into the acute coronary syndrome(ACS)group(n=18)and stable angina group(n=10).The area of plaques,the area of extra-elasticity membrane(EEM)of vascellum and plaque burden as well as remodeling index(RI)of coronary arteries were measured by IVUS in two groups.The plasma levels of high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),matrix metalloproteinase(MMP,including MMP-2 and MMP-9),CD40 ligand(CD40L)and pregnancy associated plasma protein-A(PAPP-A)were measured by ELISA.Results The area of plaques(P=0.000),the area of EEM(P=0.003)and plaque burden of "criminal" lesions(P=0.037)in the patients of the ACS group increased more significantly than that of the control group.The incidence of high-risk plaques(P=0.028)and RI(P=0.015)in the ACS group increased more significantly than that of the control group.The positive remodeling was more common in the ACS group(P=0.040),while negative remodeling in the control group(P=0.039).The plasma levels of MMP-2(P=0.011),MMP-9(P=0.001)Pand CD40L(P=0.034)in the high-risk plaques group were significantly higher than those in the non-high-risk plaques group.There were no significant differences of the plasma levels of hs-CRP(P=0.190),MMP-2(P=0.255),MMP-9(P=0.574),CD40L(P=0.342),PPAP-A(P=0.403)and the incidence of high-risk plaques(P=0.566)in the positive and negative as well as none remodeling groups.Regression analysis showed that only the regression coefficient of ACS and stable angina by RI were significant(P<0.05),the Pregression equation was RI=0.179-0.131 group(group stands for ACS group and stable angina group).Conclusion The clinical types of coronary artery disease may be an independent predictor of the coronary arterial remodeling measured by IVUS.

9.The role of Foxp3+T cells in chronic intermittent hypoxia induced liver injury

Objective To explore the role of Foxp3+ T cells (Tregs) in liver injury induced by chronic intermittent hypoxia. Methods Thirty-two male Wister rats were divided into four groups:control group (A), high-fat diet group (B), intermittent hypoxia group (C), and high-fat diet and intermittent hypoxia group (D). After 4 weeks, blood samples were collected and livers were surgically removed. Using the standard automatic clinical analyzer to test serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL- C), alanina aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartato aminotransferase (AST). The MDA content of liver tissue was measured by colorimetrc method. The levels of TNF-αand IL-1βwere measured by radiommunoassay, and the expression of Foxp3 protein was measured by Western blotting technique. Results Serum levels of TC and LDL-C were significantly higher in B group than those of A, C and D groups, and which were higher in D group than those of A and C groups (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in serum levels of TC and LDL-C between A group and C group. Serum levels of ALT, AST, MDA, TNF-αand IL-1βwere significantly higher in C group than those of A group, and which were significantly higher in D group than those of A, B and C groups (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in these indicators between A group and B group, and between B group and C group. Foxp3 protein expression in liver was significantly lower in D group than that of other groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Foxp3+T regulatory cells involve in the regulation of hepatic injury induced by chronic intermittent hypoxia on the basis of a high-fat diet, and which may play an important role in this process of protective immune response.
10.Effect of big strain rhodiola injection on levels of leptin and leptin receptor mRNA in serum and liver of rabbit with fatty liver

Objective To explore the effect of big strain rhodiola injection on levels of leptin and leptin receptor mRNA in serum and liver of rabbit with fatty liver.Methods 120 healthy adult male New Zealand white rabbits were grouped with a random number table method.30 rabbits with normal diet for eight weeks in normal group;90 rabbits in fat group were fed with high fat diet for four weeks to prepare fatty liver model in which 30 rabbits were fed with high-fat diet for four weeks as model group,30 rabbits with high-fat diet and glyburide metformin tablets [150 mg/(kg·d)]for 4 weeks as control group,30 rabbits with high-fat diet and big strain rhodiola injection [40 mg/(kg·d)]for four weeks as experimental group.After the test, levels of serum leptin,hepatic leptin,expression levels of leptin receptor mRNA and levels of liver index were compared among groups.Results Serum leptin and liver leptin in experimental group and control group were all increased to varying degrees,and the serum leptin level [(4.51 ±1.17)ng/mL],liver leptin level [(6.43 ±1.93)ng/mL]of experimental group was lower than that of control group respectively,in which the serum leptin was (7.36 ±1.26)ng/mL and liver leptin was (12.33 ±3.27)ng/mL (P<0.05).Serum leptin and leptin liver receptor mRNA in experimental group and control group were all increased to varying degrees,and the serum leptin mRNA level (0.98 ±0.15),liver mRNA level (1.78 ±0.33)of experimental group was lower than that of control group,in which the mRNA level of serum leptin was (2.57 ±0.29)and liver leptin mRNA levels was (3.31 ±0. 26)(P<0.05).Levels of liver index in experimental group and control group were increased,and liver index of experimental group [(3.98 ±0. 13)%]was lower than that in control group [(4.77 ±0.20)%],and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Big strain rhodiola injection could significantly reduce leptin levels in serum and liver of rabbits,reduce expression the leptin receptor mRNA levels and improve liver index,which has guiding significance for the treatment of fatty liver.
