1.Practicing medical education criteria and advancing the course reform systematically
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
Based on the basic requirement of medical education criteria,we reform courses by improving the goal, content, form and teaching method, and search for the method of improving the quality of teaching and cultivating.
4.Evaluation on Physical Performance of the Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation(review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(11):975-977
Physical performance is an ability with which the sufferers of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) achieve daily work and basic physical activity, including daily activities(such as the diverting movement from standing to sitting),functioning state of nerves and muscles, dailyworking ability and walking gait, etc.;abilities of body performance relative to pains, such as walking ten meters with loads,sit-stand test and Tread mill walk, etc. Most of current rehabilitation evaluation may be influenced by the subjective factors of the examinee or the examiner, but intelligent device for energy expenditure and activity(IDEEA) may be helpful to evaluate physical performance of the LDH patients in a complete,quantity-fixing,systematic and dynamic way.

Objective To investigate the value of left ventricular function in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease(CPHD) using strain rate imaging (SRI).Methods This study included 64 patients with CPHD (30 patients with compensatory function and 34 with decompensatory function) and 30 normal control.Peak systolic strain rate (SRs),peak early diastolic strain rate (SRe) and peak late diastolic strain rate (SRa)of left ventricular basal and middle segments were measured, and then mean peak strain rate (mSR) was calculated. The above digital parameters were analyzed compared with the conventional echocardiographic indices. Results The indices (mSRs,mSRe,mSRe/mSRa)in CPHD were reduced and mSRa increased as compared with those in controls (all P=0.000).And the above indices showed the same change when decompensatory group was compared with compensatory group (P=0.000,0.038,0.015,0.001).Negative correlation was noted between LVEF and mSRs in patients with CPHD (r=0.75,0.82;P=0.000).Conclusions LVEF is negatively related with mSRs in CPHD patients.mSRs can reflect the status of left ventricular function.SRI is a more sensitive tool in quantitative evaluation of left function of CPHD.

Objective To investigate whether enteric nervous system(ENS)involve in mediating the effect of short pulse gastric electrical stimulation on c-fos expression in nucleus tractus solitarius (NTS)and hypothalamus. Methods Fifteen Wistar rats were divided into control group, gastric electrical stimulation(GES)group and ENS free group with 5 rats each.A pair of electrodes was implanted on the gastric serosa. In ENS free group,0.5%benzalkonii chloridum was applied on the serosa during the surgery.A set of short pulse GES with frequency of 20 cpm, pulse width of 300 μs and amplitude of 2 mA was applied via the electrodes for 30 rain in the stimulation group and ENS free group. The c-fos expression in NTS/hypothalamus was detected 1 h after the stimulation. Results The number of neuron with c-fos expression was(71.6±7.4)/HP in NTS group and(63.4±10.8)/HP in ENS free group, both were significantly higher than those in control group(36.4±8.6/HP,P<0.05).The number of neuron with c-fos expression in hypothalamus was higher in GES[(224.2±47.3)/HP]and ENS free groups[(249.1±44.0)/HP]compared with control group[(90.2±47.3)/HP,P<0.05].There was no significant difference in c-fos expression in NTS/hypothalamus between GES group and ENS free group(P>0.05).Conclusions Short pulse gastric electrical stimulation significantly increases c-fos expression in NTS/hypothalamus,which suggests that NTS/hypothalamus may participate in mediating the effect of GES on gastric function. This effect may be not mediated by ENS.
