Objective:To investigate the effect of DKK1 on linearly patterned programmed cell necrosis (LPPCN) and vasculogenic mim-icry (VM) and the related molecular mechanism in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods:A total of 173 human NSCLC speci-mens were collected to detect LPPCN by H&E staining, detect VM with CD31/PAS double staining, and investigate DKK1 and related protein expression by immunohistochemistry. The clinical pathological significance of LPPCN, VM, and DKK1 and the correlation of them were analyzed. Human NSCLC H460-DKK1 cells were engrafed in nude mice to evaluate the influence of DKK1 up-regulation on VM and LPPCN in vivo. Results:Approximately, 14.45%(25/173) of NSCLC had VM and 49.71%(86/173) had LPPCN. 25.6%(22/86) of NSCLC cases in LPPCN-positive group formed VM. Both of VM and LPPCN were all correlated with poor differentiation, late TNM stage, easy recurrence and metastasis and poor prognosis in NSCLC. DKK1 expression in the VM-positive group and the LPPCN-positive group was higher than that in the VM-negative group and the LPPCN-negative group, respectively. DKK1, LPPCN, and VM were positive-ly correlated with VE-cadherin, MMP-2,β-catenin nuclear expression and Twist1. H460-DKK1 transplantation tumor model confirmed that DKK1 promotes the expression of VM and LPPCN and related proteins in NSCLC. Conclusion:The increase of theβ-catenin and Twist1 expression induced by DKK1 may promote the formation of LPPCN and VM in NSCLC.

OBJECTIVETo investigate effects of zearalenone (ZEA) on the proliferation of SK-N-SH human neuroblastoma cells in vitro and its possible mechanism.
METHODSSK-N-SH cells were cultured in estrogen-free improved minimum essential medium and divided into 5 groups based on different treatments: group 1, without treatment; group 2, treated with 17beta-estradiol (E(2)); group 3, treated with ZEA; group 4, treated with both E(2) and ICI 182780; group 5, treated with both ZEA and ICI 182780. Absorbance value (AV) was determined at the time point of 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours, and DNA proliferation index (PI) at 72 hours. Flow cytometer, terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) were employed to monitor cell apoptosis.
RESULTSAt 24, 48 and 72 hours, the AV of group 3 were 1.39, 1.32, and 1.22 times to those of group 1, respectively. PI in group 3 was 1.43 times of that in group 1 at 72 hours. The results of group 2 were similar to those in group 3. At the same time, the growth of cells was inhibited by ICI 182780 despite the presence of E(2) and ZEA. Apoptosis cells were abundant in group 1 and ICI 182780 groups, but little in E(2) and ZEA groups.
CONCLUSIONZEA might promote the proliferation of SK-N-SH cells to a level similar to that of E(2), which might probably be brought about via estrogen receptor pathways and depressing apoptosis.

OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical results of postoperative rehabilitation of patellar fracture by modified seated position of different knee flexion angles, thereby enrich the therapeutic tool of orthopaedics of traditional Chinese and western medicine and provide the evidences for refinement and modernization of traditional Chinese exercise therapy.
METHODSFrom January 2009 to June 2012,90 patients with patellar transverse fractures were treated with open reduction and internal fixation by tension band wire and rehabilitation exercises. There were 52 males and 38 females, aged from 21 to 77 years old with an average of 50.0 years old. Three methods of rehabilitation exercises were adopted in the patients after fractures clinical union. There were 21 males and 14 females in group A (trained by modified seated position of knee flexion about 60 degree), 21 males and 14 females in group B (trained by modified seated position of knee flexion about 30 degree), 10 males and 10 females in group C (trained by walk). The rehabilitation-training time was 1 month. Fracture healing informations were observed by X-ray films. The Böstman patellar fracture function scores were compared before and after training among three groups.
RESULTSPostoperative follow-up time was 6 months. All fractures obtained bone union and the average healing time was 3 months (ranged,2 to 4 months). Böstman patellar fracture function scores in group A, B, C before training were 18.89 ± 2.19, 18.74 ± 2.03, 18.85 ± 2.92, respectively; there was no significant differences in among three groups (P > 0.05). After training, Böstman patellar fracture function scores in group A, B, C were 29.40 ± 1.14, 26.09 ± 3.86, 25.70 ± 4.09, respectively; group A was highest than other two groups; and there was no significant differences between group A and group B.
CONCLUSIONModified seated position of knee flexion about 60 degree was practical and effective training in postoperative rehabilitation for the treatment of patellar fracture, it can obtain the better clinical results than other training method such as walk or modified seated position of knee flexion about 30 degree.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2022;43(8):1174-1178
Objective:
To analyze the correlation between Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physical fitness and cardiovascular health behaviors among college students and to provide a reference for physical fitness management and primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases for college population.
Methods:
From August to November 2021, 1 621 college students from three universities in Liaoning Province were selected by clustering random sampling method, and questionnaire survey was conducted using the TCM Physical Fitness Determination Scale and the cardiovascular health behavior index proposed by the American Heart Association to analyze the correlation between TCM physical fitness and cardiovascular health behavior among college students.
Results:
Cigarette smoking was higher among male students (20.7%) and students majoring arts and sports(27.3%)( χ 2=184.99, 79.43, P < 0.05). Body mass index (BMI) was higher among male students (4.7%) and students majoring medicine(3.6%)( χ 2=64.11, 15.38 , P <0.05). Physical inactivity was more common among female students(39.6%), medical majors(45.2%), and students with a family history of cardiovascular disease(CVD)(33.4%)( χ 2=145.40, 189.91, 15.89, P <0.05). Unhealthy diet was more common among students with medical majors and no family history of CVD(45.8%, 43.1%)( χ 2=33.13, 15.57, P <0.05). Significant differences in TCM body composition were found among college students by gender, major, and family history of CVD( χ 2=101.22, 82.38, 90.42, P <0.01). Healthy diet (ideal) and physical exercise (ideal, average) were negatively associated with Qi deficiency ( OR =0.48, 0.19, 0.63), physical exercise (ideal, average) was negatively associated with Yang deficiency( OR =0.43, 0.68), BMI (ideal) and physical exercise (ideal) were negatively associated with Phlegm dampness( OR =0.21, 0.37), physical exercise (ideal) was negatively correlated with Damp heat and Blood stasis qualities ( OR =0.34, 0.20), and physical exercise (ideal, general) was negatively correlated with Qi yu qualities( OR =0.34, 0.51)( P <0.05).
Conclusion
TCM physical fitness is associated with cardiovascular health behavior, with varying effects of each indicator of cardiovascular health behavior on TCM physical fitness. Personalized cardiovascular interventions should be taken according to differential constitutions to provide reference for constitution regulation and cardiovascular disease prevention.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2019;42(2):139-142
Objective To study and monitor the situation of femomaternal hemorrhage (FMH) in RhD-negative pregnant women in Tianjin, obtain the FMH data of such population, and analyze the relationship between FMH and age, blood type, gestational age, hemolytic disease of postpartum neonates, etc. Methods The FMH level was detected by flow cytometry with FITC-anti-HbF monoclonal antibody. The blood type was detected by blood serum method. The irregular antibody was identified by saline method and indirect anti-human ball method. The hemolysis of postpartum neonates was detected by three tests of hemolysis. Results The FMH volume of 86 RhD negative pregnant women was between 0 and 11.48 ml, with an average of 1.82 ml. There were 63.95%of pregnant women showed a volume of FMH<2.0 ml, 23.26%between 2 and 4 ml, 11.63%between 4.0 and 10.0 ml, and 1.16%>10 ml. The proportion of lower FMH in pregnant women≤30 years old was>11.71%higher than that in the pregnant women>30 years old, but the difference was no statistical significant. There was no significant difference in FMH of pregnant women with O, A, B and AB types. The proportion of higher FMH in pregnant women with compatible ABO blood type with her husband was 12.46% lower than that of the heterozygous cases, but the difference was no statistical significant. The proportion of higher FMH in the pregnant women with 28 to 32 weeks gestational age was 14.55% higher than that of ≤28 weeks and was 35.32% higher than that of >32 weeks, and the differences were statistical significant. Three samples in the 86 samples were positive for anti-D antibody, and their three hemolytic test results were strongly positive with the anti-D titer from 1:2 to 1:32 and the FMH volume from 1.50 to 6.93 ml. The proportion of lower FMH in the 10 pregnant women without postpartum hemolysis was 70% higher than that in 5 pregnant women with postpartum hemolysis, but the differences were not statistical significant. Conclusions The results suggest that monitoring FMH content by flow cytometry can reflect FMH in Rh-negative pregnant women. The studies on the relationship between FMH and age, blood type, pregnant time and hemolytic disease of postpartum neonates can provide basically experimental data for standard use of anti-D immunoglobulin in pregnant women.
