Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(10):1317-1318
Objective To explore NF-κB(P65)expression in breast cancer and its clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemical staining was used to examine the expression of NF-κB(P65)and its relationship with related elinicopathological factors were analyzed in eighty-seven IDC(invasive ductal cancinoma). Results NFκB(P65)expression was significantly correlated with lower tumor grading, maxilary lymph node metastasis, later TNM styng and HER-2 positive(all P<0.05),but not with tumor size, age of the patient and the state of ER、PR.Conclusion NF-κB(P65)should be risk factors of poor prognosis in IDC.

In order to evaluate the effect of mitofusin-2 gene (mfn2) on proliferation and chemotherapy sensitivity of human breast carcinoma cell line MCF-7 in vitro, pEGFPmfn2 plasmid carrying full length of mitofusin-2 gene was transfected, by using sofast, into MCF-7 cells. Mitofusin-2 gene expression in MCF-7 cells transfected by sofast after 48 h was detected by PCR and Western blotting, and the stable expression of GFP protein in MCF-7 cells by Western blot analysis. The proliferation of MCF-7 cells was assayed by MTT and cell counting. By using PI method, the effects of mfn2 on the cell cycle distribution of MCF-7 were measured. Annexin-V/PI double labeling method was employed to detect the changes in apoptosis induced by chemotherapeutics before and after transfection. The results showed that the MCF-7 cells transfected with mfn2 gene could stably and highly express GFP protein. MTT assay revealed that after transfection of mfn2 cDNA, the proliferation of MCF-7 cells was significantly inhibited. DNA histogram showed that cells arrested in S phase, and the percentage of S phase cells was 42.7, 17.2 and 19.6 in mfn2 cDNA transfection group, blank plasmid transfection group and blank control group, respectively (P<0.05). The apoptosis ratio of the cells transfected with mfn2 gene was increased from 3.56% to 15.95%, that of the cells treated with camptothecin (CAMP) followed by mfn2 gene transfection was 69.6%, and that in blank plasmid transfection group and blank control group was 31.0% and 23.4% respectively (P<0.05). It was suggested that transfection of mfn2 gene could significantly inhibit the proliferation of MCF-7 cells and promote their sensitivity to CAMP with a synergic effect.

The HIV susceptibility and resistance alleles in the HLA genes were determined by investigating the distribution characteristics of the HLA alleles (A,B,and DRB1) in HIV-infected individuals of the Han population in Hubei, and by comparing these alleles with HIV-negative individuals from the same area.A cohort of 424 HIV-1 infected individuals were chosen as study subjects, and 836 HIV-negative healthy subjects from the same area served as the control population.HLA-A,B,and DRB 1 allele typing was performed using polymemse chain reaction-sequence-specific oligonucleotide probes (PCR-SSOP) and polymerase chain reaction-sequencing based typing (PCR-SBT) techniques.Arlequin ver3.0 was used to analyze the allele and haplotype frequencies of HLA-A,B,and DRB l,whereas Epi Info 7 and SPSS18.0 was used to analyze the differences in the HLA alleles between the HIV-1 positive and HIV-1 negative groups.A*02:03,DRB1*01:01,and DRB1*15:01 alleles and their haplotypes as well as the HLA_Bw4-Bw6 hybrid showed a protective effect on HIV-1 infection. After adjusting for confounding factors such as age and sex, multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that B* 15:02G,DRB 1*01:01,and DRB 1 * 15:01 subtypes were the resistance genes of HIV-1 infection, while B * 13:01 might increase susceptibility to HIV-1 infection. The correlation between A*02:06 and B*15:01G subtypes and HIV-1 susceptibility was independent of the age and sex of the host. This study demonstrated the influence of genetic factors in humans such as HLA polymorphism on individuals to resist HIV-1 infection.Association studies of HLA polymorphism,susceptibility/resistance to HIV-1 infection, and hosts' genetic background are of significant importance for research on HIV-1 pathogenesis and vaccine design.

AIDS antiviral therapy (ART) has achieved great success.Originaly,AIDS had been regarded as a fatal disease, but it has become a kind of infectious disease that could be cured and administrated.Global HIV / AIDS cases were still up to about 38 million, but more than half have been effectively treated. In addition to drug treatment,at present, some new technologies and new methods, such as genome editing, have also been involved in the treatment of AIDS,and in the humanized animal experiment has shown very good results. There is no doubt that AIDS will eventually be stopped its epidemic. However, with the continuous development of AIDS antiviral treatment, the most fundamental problem is that HIV latent library has become increasingly prominent one, whether molecular therapy and hybrid cure have being developed for AIDS treatment, there are still such problem existence.Great efforts shoud be made to continuously search for new markers of latent viral cells and to reduce the latent pool.In addition, despite the prevention and treatment of AIDS has made great achievements, but the world still produces nearly 6000 cases of HIV/AIDS every day. Therefore, the development of safe and effective vaccine, whether in the field of prevention,or in clinical treatment, has its positive significance.

Objective To study the curative effect of mesenchymal stem cells(MSC)transplantation on occupational chronic benzene poisoning and summarize the nursing measures. Methods The clinical data of 5 patients with occupational chronic benzene poisoning treated with MSC transplantation for 48 times totally were retrospectively reviewed for the purpose of investigating the curative effects and summing up the nursing measures. Results After transplantation, the levels of white blood cells, hemoglobin and neutrophil, platelet were all increased significantly. The differences in white blood cells and neutrophil were significant between pre-and post-transplantation(P<0.05).Bone marrow hyperplasia was active after treatment. No adverse reactions were observed in all of the patients. Conclusion MSC is safe and effective in treating occupational chronic benzene poisoning.Observing patient’s conditions closely, implementing protective isolation and psychological nursing strictly and doing predictive nursing measures are of significance for success of MSC transplantation and improvement of the curative effect.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is synthesized and secreted by the anterior pituitary, which binds to its receptors expressed on the membrane of Sertoli cells in the testis to bring about spermatogenesis. With the development of DNA sequencing technology, FSH SNPs rs10835638 and FSHR SNPs rs6165, rs6166, and rs1394205 were detected, which might directly affect the expression of FSH and activity of FSHR, resulting in male spermatogenic dysfunction. This review focuses on the relationship of FSH and FSHR gene polymorphisms with male infertility.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2018;25(4):118-119
The most common manifestations of eosinophilic gastroenteritis (EG) are abdominal pain and diarrhea. Glucocorticoid is currently used in the treatment for EG, but the adverse reactions are relatively large. Banxia Xiexin Decoction is the famous Zhongjing prescription can be used to treat many kinds of gastrointestinal diseases. This article introduced. Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with Shaoyao Gancao Decoction in the treatment of abdominal pain predominant based EG, as well as Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with Gegen Qinlian Decoction in treating diarrhea predominant based EG have achieved satisfactory efficacy.
