Immunomagnetic separation (IMS) was coupled with fluorescent microspheres lateral flow assay (FM-LFA) for rapid detection of S.choleraesuis in this study.The target bacteria were firstly enriched from sample by immunomagnetic beads (IMBs),then eluted by heat treatment and detected by fluorescent microspheres lateral flow test strip.The IMBs was labeled with 30 μg/mg antibody,and the capture efficiency was greater than 90％ against 102-106 CFU/mL of S.choleraesuis with great specificity.The immunofluorescent microspheres were prepared by coupling 300 μg of 11 D8-D4 monoclonal antibody with 1 mg of fluorescent microspheres at pH 6.Monoclonal antibody 5F11-B11 (2.0 mg/mL) and donkey anti-mouse IgG (1.0 mg/mL) were sprayed on nitrocellulose membrane as test line and control line,respectively.The FM-LFA based on IMS was used to detect S.choleraesuis in PBS and milk.The limits of detection in PBS buffer and milk were 1.5×105 CFU/mL and 7.6×105 CFU/mL respectively,which were 10 and 200 times lower than that of traditional fluorescent microspheres lateral flow assay,respectively.The results showed that the method,which could enrich S.choleraesuis in milk effectively,could avoid matrix interference and improve the detection sensitivity,thus had a good application prospect.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation exercises on swallowing function and cerebral perfusion in dysphagic stroke patients.Methods Sixty-two stroke pa- tients with dysphagia were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=32)and a control group(n=30).The treat- ment group received electroacupunture,rehabilitation exercise and conventional medical treatment,while the control group received only rehabilitation exercise and conventional medical treatment.They were treated once a day,6 times a week for 4 weeks.Water drinking test,stethocatharsis scores and swallowing fluorography were used to assess the swallowing function before and after treatment.Single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)was also em- ployed to observe the status of cerebral perfusion before and after treatment.Results It was shown that the swallo- wing function and cerebral perfusion in the treatment group were significantly better than the control group after treat- ment.The effective rate in the treatment group was 96.88% while that of the control group was 66.67%.Conclu- sion Electroacupuncture combined with rehabilitation exercises is effective in treating the dysphagic stroke patients, and can significantly improve the brain perfusion of these patients.

Objective To study the therapeutic effect of EUS-guided rendezvous (EUS-RV) when ERCP failed in patients with malignant obstructive jaundice. Methods 12 cases of malignant obstructive jaundice patients were underwent EUS-RV after unsuccessful ERCP. The operation success rate, liver function recovery 1 week and 1 month after operation, complication rates, hospital stay and patient survival were observed. Results All 12 patients were successfully operated and placed stents by endoscopic ultrasound puncture following by ERCP: 8 patients by the stomach, 4 patients by duodenum, the operation success rate was 100.00%; There were significant difference between the liver function recovery of preoperative and postoperative one week or postoperative one week and postoperative one month (P < 0.05). 1 bleeding occurred and were improved after conservative treatment, the complications rate was 8.33%; the hospital stay was (20.68 ± 5.76) d; the average survival time of patients was 224 d. Conclusion EUS-guided rendezvous may be the alternative treatment due to the diminutive trauma and good effect when ERCP failed in patients with malignant obstructive jaundice.

Objective To evaluate safety and efficacy of EUS-FNA for occupying pancreatic lesions.Methods Data of 62 patients with occupying pancreatic lesions,who underwent EUS-FNA between June 2011 and June 2014,were analyzed for completion and complications,with surgery and clinical follow-up as the golden standard.Accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of EUS-FNA were calculated.Results A total of 62 patients with pancreatic lesions successfully underwent EUS-FNA and median puncture number was 4.2(3 to 8).Success rate of puncture was 100％ and sampling satisfaction rate was 90.3％ (56/62).No complications such as fever,infection,bleeding,perforation,severe pancreatitis or death were found.With the final diagnosis as the golden standard(39 malignant lesions and 23 benign lesions),overall diagnostic accuracy of EUS-FNA was 88.7％(55/62).The cytology diagnostic accuracy was 69.4％ (43/62),significantly higher than that of the tissue pathology of 30.6％ (19/62,P＜0.01).Sensitivity and specificity of the procedure were 87.2％(34/39) and 91.3％(21/23) respectively.Conclusion EUS-FNA is an effective and safe procedure in diagnosis of occupying pancreatic lesions.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of minimally invasive percutaneous intervertebral disc approach for treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis. Methods Fifty?six patients diagnosed as having sympathetic cervical spondylosis from January 2009 to August 2014, aged 22-64 yr, with the dis?ease course ranged from 6 months to 15 yr and a follow?up period of 6 months, were enrolled in the study. The related minimally invasive approach was selected according to the height of the diseased intervertebral space. When the ratio of the height of diseased intervertebral space∕normal intervertebral space≤1∕3, per?cutaneous radiofrequency ablation was used ( groupⅠ, n=19); when the ratio within the range of 1∕3-2∕3, percutaneous laser disk decompression was used ( groupⅡ, n=12); when the ratio≥2∕3, low?tem?perature plasma radiofrequency ablation was used ( group Ⅲ, n=25) . Before operation, at 2 weeks after operation, and at 1, 3 and 6 months after operation, the sympathetic symptoms were evaluated using the 20?point score. At 2 weeks and 6 months after operation, the patients′ subjective satisfaction was assessed and graded ( excellent, good, medium and poor ) . Results All the patients were followed up for 6 months. The sympathetic symptom scores were significantly lower at each time point after operation in Ⅰand Ⅲ groups and at 2 weeks and 3 and 6 months after operation in group Ⅱ than those before operation
( P<0.05) . The excellent and good rate of patients′subjective satisfaction was 67.9% at 2 weeks after op?eration, and 76.8% in the last follow?up period at 6 months after operation. Conclusion The minimally invasive percutaneous intervertebral disc approach has a marked short?term effect on sympathetic cervical spondylosis.

BackgroundPterygium is an ocular surface disease of abnormal cell proliferative kind and angiogenesis plays an important role in its development and recurrence.Several anti-angiogenic therapies have been used to treat pterygium,but there very few studtes for the in vivo observation of the microvessles in pterygium.ObjectiveThis study was to observe angiogenesis in pterygium with a high-resolution confocal microscope in vivo and to perform immunohistochemical study in vitro.MethodsA prospective case-controlled study was designed.Twenty eyes of 20 consecutive patients with primary pterygia and 20 age- and sex-matched patients with inner eye diseases and strabismus with normal conjunctiva were enrolled in this study.An in vivo confocal microscopy imaging system (Heidelberg Retina Tomograph Ⅱ Rostock Cornea Module) was used to collect microvascular pictures from the anterior part of pterygia and normal nasal conjunctiva of controls,and then immunochemistry was performed to examine the expression of CD31 in microvessel in vitro.The vascular density values were compared between these two groups.The correlation of vascular density values between in vivo Heidelberg Retina Tomograph and in vitro immunohistochemistry was calculated.Written informed consent was obtained from pationts before any examination and surgery.ResultsUnder the in vivo confocal microscope,the microvessel density was (8929±2993) μm/mm2 and (4202 ±692)μm/mm2,respectively,in pterygium and the normal conjunctiva group with a statistically significant difference between them (t =6.881,P＜0.01 ).Immunochemistry revealed that the expression of CD31 to measure vascular density was ( 21.00 ± 4.06/400 × field ) and ( 6.07 ± 1.75/400 × field ) in pterygium and the normal conjunctiva group,showing significant difference (t =12.312,P＜0.01 ).Positive correlations were found in the vascular density values between in vivo corneal laser confocal microscopy examination and in vitro immunochemistry examination in both the pterygium group and normal conjunctiva group (pterygium group:r=0.649,P＜0.01 ;normal conjunctiva group: r=0.572,P＜0.01 ) ConclusionsIn vivo confocal microscopy imaging is superior to in vitro immunochemistry in evaluating the microvessel of pterygium.The results of this study offer a new way index for further investigation of the biological behavior of pterygium and its mechanism.

Objective To develop a limb support suitable for timely treatment of a large number of patients in wartime or public emergencies.Methods There were two kinds of limb supports including a ground-based rollator and a table-mounted limb bracket,which were both composed of three components for bracing,supporting and regulating.The bracing component was responsible for load bearing,the supporting one contacted the limb,and the remained one was to regulate the support.The limb support could be driven electrically,pneumatically or manually.Results The limb support had its height,angle and width regulated easily to avail itself to the patients,and had no need for extra assistance.Conclusion The limb support gains advantages in practicability,safety,comfort and portability,and thus is worthy promoting in levels of medical facilities especially the first-line medical units in emergency conditions.
