SiRNA comes from double-stranded RNA,which is processed into a small molecular fragment by Dicer.21-25nt siRNA,as the key effector molecules to the RNAi process,can inhibit gene expression with high specificity and high efficiency in mammalian cells.Currently,RNAi has been widely applied in a variety of cancer.RNAi has many active research explorations of the tumor development,metastasis and treatment in gastrointestinal cancer.

of left and right side cerebral cortical veins was 159.16(154.88-164.13)ppb(× 10-9), 164.61(156.23-168.04) ppb, respectively. The median susceptibility (extent) of left and right side thalamostriate veins was 160.51 (152.14-170.06) ppb, 162.48(153.47-173.66)ppb, respectively. Left were less than the right, and the difference was statistically significant (Z=-3.14,-2.02, P<0.05). And the difference of two side of other cerebral venous susceptibility had no statistical significance. The median susceptibility (extent) of right cerebral cortical veins, left thalamostriate veins and right septal veins of 22 male was 166.22(159.21-169.99) ppb, 168.65(159.19-174.45)ppb and 153.42(148.10-161.78)ppb, respectively. The coresponding positions of median susceptibility (extent) of 38 female was 161.10(155.06-167.15)ppb, 157.70(151.53-164.41)ppb and 147.52(142.94- 154.16)ppb, respectively. The susceptibility of right cerebral cortical vein, left thalamostriate vein, right septal vein of male was significantly different from the females (Z=-2.03,-2.20,-2.33, P<0.05). Futhermore, we also found that there had positive correlation between age and right thalamostriate vein(r=0.28,P<0.05). Conclusion The magnetic sensitive of the right thalamostriate vein tends to increase along with the age, and some of peoples had difference with bilateral and age.

Purpose:To evaluate the curative effects and side effects of 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) in the treatment of liver carcinoma.Methods:56 patients with liver carcinoma (Forty three patients were primary hepatic carcinoma and 13 liver metastatic tumors) with 62 lesions were treated with 3DCRT for 30～45 Gy/5～10 f/1～2 weeks with fractionated doses ranging from 4Gy to 8Gy.Results:In the 1～3 months after 3DCRT the results examined by CT or MRI showed that the 62 lesions(56 patients) had CR 24% (15/62),PR 50%(31/62),NC 16% (10/62) and PD 10% (6/62).The overall response rate (CR+PR) was 74%.Conclusions:3DCRT is an effective and safe treatment for hepatic malignant tumor and it can be tolerated by most of the patients.The immediate response of tumor is encouraging. The survival rate and late complications remain to be observed.

Objective To describe the CT and MR imaging features of hepatic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor(IMT).Methods The CT(n=12)and MRI(n=2)findings of pathologically proved hepatic IMT in 12 patients were retrospectively analyzed.Results All the tumors of the 12 patients were solitary and located in right hepatic lobe.Six tumors were solid and 4 tumors were solid-cystic.The other 2 tumors were periportal soft-tissue infiltration.The tumors appeared as solid or solid-cystic hypodense mass on CT images.The lesions were dark in T1-weighted sequences and slightly bright on T2-weighted sequences.There was homogeneous or inhomogeneous moderate to significant enhancement in solid portion of the tumors.Honeycomb-like enhancement was demontrated both in the peripheral part and at the intratumoral septa of the solid-cystic mass.Conclusion CT and MRI can provide helpful information for the clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis of hepatic IMT.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of ethyl acetate fraction of Blumea balsamifera (BBE) residue on treating rats of adjuvant arthritis (AA) and its mechanism.

METHODThe rats were immunized with the Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA). After modeling, 28 days' treatment with BBE was performed. During the experimental process, rat mass, toe girth, arthritic index (AI), proliferation of immune organs and pathological section were measured. After treatment, blood samples were collected through fossa orbitalis vein for detection of serum SOD, MDA, GSH, NO, OH*, ALP, AST, ALT, NAG and SA content using colorimetric method and IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α content using ELISA method.

RESULTAdministration with BBE (high dose) could significantly ameliorate joint swelling and arthritis index, effectively inhibit synovial hyperplasia, down-regulate the levels of MDA, NO, OH*, ALP, AST, ALT, NAG, SA, IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α and up-regulate the SOD and GSH levels in serum.

CONCLUSIONThe results suggested BBE possesses substantial anti-arthritis and antioxidant activities.

Two lab-scale expanded granular sludge bed reactors were operated using granular sludge and river sediments as seed sludge respectively, through gradually lowering down the inner pH values, acid-tolerant methanogenic granular sludge with good methanogenic activity were acquired and formed. Two EGSB reactors could be operated steadily under the condition of pH 5.8～6.2, and their volumetric loading rates were about 5.5～7.5 kg COD/(m3/d), the COD removal efficiencies were about 90%. The granular sludges taken from two reactors could maintain relatively higher methanogenic activity under low pH, and the relative activities of the granular could be 51.78% and 55.6% of the value with the condition of pH 7.0 when pH was 5.5. Studies on the diameter distribution, settling velocities, concentrations of different metal elements and microbiological characteristics of these acid-tolerant granular sludges were also conducted.

Objective:To establish an HPLC method for the determination of chlorogenic acid in honeysuckle stem and honeysuck-le from different sources in different harvest periods. Methods:A Waters C18 column(250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm)was used. The mo-bile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0. 4% H3 PO4(10:90)with the flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 . The detection wavelength was 327 nm and the column temperature was 30℃. An external standard method was established for the determination of chlorogenic acid in honey-suckle stem and honeysuckle in six different harvest periods from three sources. Results:There was a good linear relationship within the range of 0. 065-1. 300 μg for chlorogenic acid(r=0. 999 8). The content of chlorogenic acid in honeysuckle was the highest in Sep-tember and October. The content of chlorogenic acid in Lonicera acuminata was the highest among the honeysuckle stem from three dif-ferent sources. Conclusion:The content of chlorogenic acid in honeysuckle has a certain relationship with the harvest time,which can provide theoretical basis for the choice of harvest time for honeysuckle stem.
