Objective To investigate the affecting mechanism of Jie Yu No.1 Decoction(JY),which was a complex prescription with the function of adjusting spleen and stomach,on the HPA-axis function of depression model rats.Methods60 SD rats were randomly divided into the normal,the model,the Amitriptyline and the JY decoction groups,with 15 each.Isolated-living condition and chronic mild unpredictable stress were applied suceessively to set up DEP rat model.Radiative immunotherapy was used to measure the content of hormone(CRH),somatostatin(SS) and Cortisol(CORT) in the blood plasma.The correlativity was Analyzed between SS,CRH and CORT to preliminary discuss the affecting mechanism of JY on the function of SS adjusting HPA-axis,and to clarify the antidepressant mechanism of the JY.ResultsThe correlation coefficient between SS and CRH was r=-0.5094,P=0.1972,t=1.4501.The result indicated that SS and CRH had the remarkable negatively correlation.The correlation coefficient between SS and CORT was r=0.010,P=0.9613,t=0.0244.The result indicated that SS and CORT had no remarkable correlation.ConclusionThe antidepressant mechanism of JY may be as that SS reduces CRH contents and reaches the adjustment of HPA-axis function in order to play its antidepressant effect.

Foodbome viruses are defined to be viruses that can lead to human diseases through food. In accordance with the different origin, foodborne viruses can be divided into two kinds: intestinal viruses and zoonotic viruses. The former include those viruses that can be transmitted to person via fecal-orally route. The latter include those zoonotic viruses that chiefly transmitted to person through livestock and poultry products. This paper expounds foodborne viruses categories, biology nature, epidemiology character, and study circumstance, and clarifies the molecular biological methods and problems on the base of the polymerase chain reactions, and presents the development direction and application perspective of the foodbome viruses study.

The recombination clones contained CFP, LTB-ST foreign gene were screening by PCR using individual bacterial colonies as template, the aimed band was amplified from positive clones, the result was as well as plasmid PCR. The selecting of agrobacterium transformed with recombination plasmid could also use this method of PCR screening of individual bacterial colonies. The result of individual bacterial colonies PCR was as well as that of PCR using bacterial solution as template. It showed that the method individual bacterial colonies PCR was an efficient, easy one that characterized recombination clones.

Objective To explore the application of nurse-administered psychological assessment scale for patients early after trauma in the wounded after Wenchuan earthquake.Methods The clinically commonly used self-rating scales (integrated SCL-90,SDS and SAS,and mental status scale in non-psychiatric settings),clinician-administered scale (nurse-administered psychological assessment scale for patients early after trauma)and diagnostic criteria in psychiatric settings(CCMD-3)were employed to assess the mental status of 21 patients after Wenchuan earthquake,and the recovery rates of these scales were analysed.Results All the 21 patients suffered from psychological disturbance to some extent, while none met the criteria of mental diseases.The recovery rate of the integrated SCL-90,SDS and SAS was only 9.5%, while those of the nurse-administered psychological assessment scale for patients early after trauma and mental status scale in non-psychiatric settings reached 100%.Conclusion The nurse-administered psychological assessment scale for patients early after trauma and mental status scale in non-psychiatric settings with fewer items are more suitable for the wounded early after earthquake,with a favourable confidence and efficacy.The diagnostic criteria in psychiatric settings can not be universally used in the wounded after earthquake.

By introducing an electro-withdrawing antipyrine group, N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-N-(4-antipyrine)-10-methylacridinium-9-carboxamide triflate was prepared. The UV, FL and CL properties of the target compound and of its precursor were investigated by comparing with those of the model compound N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-N-phenyl-10-methylacridinium-9-carboxamide triflate and the corresponding precursor respectively. The results show that acridine sulfonamide with a heterocyclic antipyrine group exhibits blue shift of both UV absorption and of maximum excitation wavelength(λex) and emission wavelength(λem) in FL spectra, comparing with the corresponding model compound. The λex of the final target and its precursor are 268 and 274 nm, respectively; and the λem are 321 and 327 nm, respectively, while λex of the model compound and its unmethylated precursor are 365 and 359 nm, respectively; and the λem are 504 and 440 nm, respectively. Moreover, the chemiluminescence of the final target compound triggered by H2O2 could finish within 1.1 s; and the quantum yield is similar to that of the model compound, being 5.6 times high as that of luminol.

Objective To describe the CT and MR imaging features of hepatic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor(IMT).Methods The CT(n=12)and MRI(n=2)findings of pathologically proved hepatic IMT in 12 patients were retrospectively analyzed.Results All the tumors of the 12 patients were solitary and located in right hepatic lobe.Six tumors were solid and 4 tumors were solid-cystic.The other 2 tumors were periportal soft-tissue infiltration.The tumors appeared as solid or solid-cystic hypodense mass on CT images.The lesions were dark in T1-weighted sequences and slightly bright on T2-weighted sequences.There was homogeneous or inhomogeneous moderate to significant enhancement in solid portion of the tumors.Honeycomb-like enhancement was demontrated both in the peripheral part and at the intratumoral septa of the solid-cystic mass.Conclusion CT and MRI can provide helpful information for the clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis of hepatic IMT.

Objective To investigate the analgesic efficacy and spinal neurotoxicity of intrathecal (IT) different doses of dexmedetomidine in rats. Methods Sixty male SD rats weighing 180-220 g were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n = 12 each): groupnormal control (group C); group IT normal saline (group N); different doses of dexmedetomidine groups received IT dexmedetomidine 0.75, 1.50 and 3.00 μg/kg respectively (groups D1.3). Paw withdrawal threshold to mechanical stimulation (PWMT)with yon Frey filaments and tail flick latency (TFL) to a thermal nociceptive stimulus were measured before (To, baseline) and at 30 or60 rin after IT dexmedetomidine or normal saline administration (T1, T2 ) and the percentage of the maximum possible effect ( MPE ) was calculated. Lumbar segment of the spinal cord ( L4-6 ) was removed for microscopic examination and determination of c-Fos expression (by immuno-histochemistry) at 7, 24 and 48 h after IT dexmedetomidine or normal saline administration. Results PWMT, TFL and the percentage of MPE were significantly increased after IT dexmedetomidine as compared with the baseline values at T0 in groups D1-3 ( P ＜ 0.05). PWMT was significantly higher at T1 and TFL and the percentage of MPE were higher at T2 in groups D1-3 than in groups C and N,and in group D3 than in groups D1,2 ( P ＜ 0.05). At 7,24 h after IT dexmedetomidine c-Fos protein expression was significantly higher in group D3 than in groups C and N( P ＜ 0.05). There was no significant difference in c-Fos expression at 48 h after IT dexmedetomidine between group D3 and groups C and N ( P ＞ 0.05 ). At 24 h after IT dexmedetomidine c-Fos protein expression was significantly higher in group D3 than in other 4 groups( P ＜ 0.05). Slight spinal cord injury was observed at 24 h after IT dexmedetomidine in group D3. Conclusion IT dexmedetomidine has antinociceptive effect. High dose dexmedetomidine IT can produce transient reversible toxicity to the spinal cord.

Objective To investigate the expression of p-MNK1 in non-small cell lung cancer and its relationship with clinic pathological features and prognosis.Methods The level of p-MNK1 in 115 cases of nonsmall cell lung cancer was detected by tissue microarray technique and immunohistochemistry technique.Results The level of p-MNK 1 in non-small cell lung cancer was correlated with cancer tissue type (P ＜ 0.05),clinical stage (P ＜ 0.05),lymph node metastasis (P ＜ 0.01) and prognosis (P ＜ 0.05).Cox multiple regression analysis showed that p-MNK1 expression was an independent prognostic factor for non-small cell lung cancer (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The level of p-MNK1 in non-small cell lung cancer is associated with poor prognosis.It can be used as an independent prognostic marker and a new therapeutic target.
