1.Pathological Changes of auxiliary liver allografts in the rat
Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1997;18(2):83-84
Wistar rats randomly divided into groups A,B and C were killed at 2、3 and 12 days after transplantation, respectively. The pathological changes of the donor livers were observed by light microscope and electron microscope. The findings demonstrated that:(1)in the group A there was hepatocellular regeneration including hypertrophy of nuclei and nucleoli, and hyperplasia of mitochondrions and endoplasmic reticula;(2)in the group B the morphologic changes of the allografts involved in distinet fatty degencration and mitochondrial swelling of hepatic cells and peripheral vesscl wall infiltration by monocytes and lymphocytes;(3)in the group C hepatocellular loss with the massive tissue necrosis and fibroplasia occurred in the gratfs. From the above it was concluded that hepatocellular necrosis or loss related to the rejection 12 days after the transplantation might lead to the liver failure in the rats.
2.Vacuum sealing drainage therapy using polyvinyl alcohol hydrated foam material for large soft tissue defects
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(25):4090-4094
BACKGROUND:In various clinical treatments of soft tissue defects, vacuum sealing drainage technology can effectively control wound infection, shorten the treatment time, and accelerate wound healing. OBJECTIVE:To further understand the features and characteristics of hydrated ethanol polyethylene foam vacuum sealing drainage treatment, and compare the treatment effects against soft tissue defects with the conventional dressing change treatment. METHODS:A total of 140 cases of large soft tissue defects were divided randomly into two groups. Observation group received hydrated ethanol polyethylene foam vacuum sealing drainage treatment, while control group was treated by conventional dressing change. The degree of pain relief during treatment, the family satisfaction, the survival rate of first skin-grafting, the time needed before skin-grafting, the hospitalization time, the number of operations, the readmission rates, the complication rate and other clinical effectiveness indicators were compared between the two groups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: In the observation group, visual analog scale scores decreased 5.76±0.68, in the control group visual analog scale score decreased 2.85±0.53, with significant differences between the two groups (P < 0.05), and family satisfaction degree of the observation group was higher (P < 0.05). The survival rate of first skin-grafting of the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05), the time needed before skin-grafting, the hospitalization time, the number of operations, the readmission rates, and the complication rate were lower than the control group (P < 0.05). The results showed that, compared with conventional dressing change treatment, hydrated ethanol polyethylene foam vacuum sealing drainage has advantages of light pain, short treatment time, low rate of complications, and high efficacy.
3.Treatment strategy for pediatric infectious diseases
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;30(10):726-729
The widespread use of antibiotics has been effectively controlled serious life-threatening infections. The trituration, exploitation and use of antibiotics has been rapidly developed and applied to many fields.Due to the extensive use of various antibiotics, the emergences of drug-resistant bacteria and the rates of bacterial resistance have increased unceasingly which has been a common focus in the world.Resistant pathogen can reduce the effectiveness of antibiotics, and which is a serious threat to human health.De-escalation therapy of antibiotics can quickly and effectively control serious infections, and avoid bacterial resistance, and induce fungal infections. The rational use of antibiotics in pediatrics is very imperative, which includes strengthening management of antibiotics, and improving awareness and vigilance of the adverse reactions of antibiotics, and consummating specification of medication. Then, realize the correct, safe, rational medication of antibiotics.
4.Progress of bronchiolitis obliterans in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2015;30(22):1754-1757
Bronchiolitis obliterans(BO) is chronic airflow obstruction syndrome characterized by small airway obstruction and airflow limitation. In children, BO is secondary to severe infection of respiratory tract, and its development is related with inflammation and immune response. At present, the diagnosis of BO mainly is depended on the clinical manifestation, lung function and examination results of high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) because of difficulty of lung biopsy.Pulmonary HRCT is a non-invasive examination, and worthy of generalization.Currently, BO has no accepted effective treatment, early diagnosis and treatment can block the progression of BO.Due to lack of realization of BO, doctors and parents fail to give enough attention, BO has a prolonged course and very poor prognosis.
5.Insulin Glargine Intensification Therapy for Initial Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
China Pharmacy 2005;0(14):-
OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of insulin glargine versus intermediate-acting insulins(NPH)injected subcutancously at bedtime in initial diabetes mellitus cases.METHODS:64 initial type 2 diabetes mellitus cases were assigned to insulin glargine group(A)or NPH insulin group(B).Both groups were subcutancously injected with short-action insulin on the basis of alimentary control and a certain amount of activity.Comparison was made between the two in respect of fasting blood glucose(FBG),duration of glycemic control, glycemic excursion, hypoglycemic incidence and total daily insulin dose.RESULTS:FBG,duration of glycemic controlling, glycemic excursion and hypoglycemic incidenc were lower in glargine insulin group than in NPH group(P
6.The control technique and clinical application of the intelligentized respirator
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(05):-
This paper introduces the principle and control technique of the intelligentized respirator and the applications of the modes of SmartCare and AutoFlow. The possible malfunctions of the intelligentized respirator during mechanical ventilation and their countermeasures are analyzed. The influence of the malfunction alert grade on the patient during mechanical ventilation is also discussed. It's the trend to develop the intelligentized respirator. The staff has to be educated and trained to make full use of the intelligentized respirator.
7.Scanning Electron Microscopical Observations on Damages to Tegument and Gut Epithelium of Paragonimus Heterotremus by Albendazole
Journal of Kunming Medical University 1990;0(02):-
The adult worms of Paragonimus heterotremus obtained from experimental infected rats were observed under a scanning electron microscope.24 hours after gastrogavage of albendazole 100mg/kg/d?2,the whole tegument of the worms was markedly swelled, and the posterior togument showed hollow. After 5 days the swollen tegument around the oral sucker looked like cotton fibre, the tegument around the ventral sucker showed local necrosis, and the posterior tegument still showed swollen papillae. The gut epithelium showed local necrosis and the lamella on its surface formed lumps.
8.Surgical treatment of duodenal invasion by cancer of hepatic flexure of colon
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(03):-
Objective To study the surgical treatment of duodenal invasion by cancer of hepatic flexure of (colon). Methods Clinical data of 15 cases of duodenal invasion by cancer of hepatic flexure of colon were analyzed retrospectively. Results Invasion of the second or third portion of the duodenum by cancer of the hepatic flexure of colon occurred in 15 cases. The duodenum was adhered to the cancer in 6 cases,(seromuscular) invasion by the tumor in 5 cases, and duodenocolic fistula in 4 cases. All of the cases received surgical (treatment). 8 cases were mucoid adenocarcinomas, 4 were poorly differentiated adenocarcinomas, two were moderately differentiated adenocarcinomas, and one was signet-ring cell carcinoma. One patient died (after) operation, and the five-year survival rate was 46.7%(7/15). Conclusions Duodenum is the first organ easily to be invaded by cancer of hepatic flexare of colon. Radical and en bloc resection of the colonic cancer and involved organs is the best therapeutic method. The key to recovery is correct treatment of the (surgical) defect of the duodenum.
