Objective To study the characteristics and differences of phonetic pronunciation between hearing-impaired and normal children in 4.5~5.5 years old groups. Methods Phonetic articulation of consonants and vowels were tested by three-grade assessors for 20 hearing- impaired children and 20 normal children in 4.5~5.5 years old group using Question Bank for Hearing-impaired Children's Rehabilitation Evaluation of Hearing and Speech. Results and Conclusion For hearing-impaired children, the consonants of /b. m. d. l. j/ were the most articulative, followed with /h. f. r. p. t. n. g. x/, and then /zh. z. k. c. sh. q. s. ch/; for normal children, the consonants of /b. p. f. g. m. d. h/ were the most articulative, followed with /k. j. x. t. r. l/, and then /q. zh. ch. sh. n. z. s. c/. For both groups, the single final was the most articulative, followed with the compound final, and then the nasal. The articulation of these 3 types of vowels were poorer in hearing-impaired children than in normal children (P<0.01)

Objective To summarize the experience of emergency microsurgery under the guidance of computed tomographic arteriography (CTA) for treatment of Hunt-Hess high grade intracranial aneurysm rupture. Methods The clinical data of 34 patients with Hunt-Hess high grade intracranial aneurysm rupture were retrospectively analyzed. The CT and CTA were detected in the patients on admission.Emergency operation were all performed. The temporal occlusion of the parent artery, removed intracranial hematoma and clipping intracranial aneurysms by microsurgical techniques. All patients were removed skull. Results The prognosis was assessed by Glasgow outcome score (GOS),17 cases were recovered well,10 cases were mildly disabled,3 cases were severely disabled and 4 cases died. Conclusions CTA can be used as the primary diagnosis of intracranial aneurysm imaging methods under the emergency condition. The patients with HuntHess high grade intracranial aneurysm rupture should make positive surgical treatment to save live.
6.Effect of Some Amino Acids in Gentamicin Production
China Biotechnology 2006;0(12):-
Gentamicin production at home and abroad was fermentation cycle long, production rate low, production costs high and short of competitiveness.Added a little quantity of lysine, glycine, tyrosine, methionine into the medium of gentamicin producing Micromonospora purpurea during inoculation could improve the metabolic capability of microbe, shorten fermentation cycle and increase production rate of gentamicin. The new method was successfully developed in shaking flask test and applied to 5L glass fermentor for one month.Average data of one month showed that the fermentation time per cycle was shortened about 40% and the yield of gentamicin per fermentor increased about 14% in comparison with the conventional technique. The production rate of gentamicin was increased 30% ~95%(according to the capability of strain). The quality of the end product gentamicin conformed to CP2000,BP2000 and USP26 pharmacopoeia. Therefore, the new method may reduce production costs of gentamicin remarkably,it shows strong competitiveness in the marketplace.
