0.05).The recurrence of pterygium was related to the age.If the age increased five years, the risk of recurrence decreased 18.1%. Conclusion The application of MMC(during) the operation could decrease the recurrence rate of pterygium. The recurrence rate of pterygium was not related to the time of application of 0.02% MMC,and detainment for 3 min was enough during the operation.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
To study time and dose related changes after gamma knife radiosurgery (GKR) in rat brain, right caudate nucleuses of rats were irradiated by OUR XGD gamma units. The maximum dosages of 20,50,75 and 160Gy were given using a 4 mm collimator. HE, Nissl, Luxol fast blue staining and immunohistochemistry were utilized to observe histological changes.Histological changes in the right caudate nucleuses such as microvessel injury, which appeared as telangiectasia, vasodilatation, vessel wall thickening and edema, and astrocyte changes, which appeared as hypertrophy and proliferation, were observed at various time points after GKR. These findings demonstrate time dependent and dosage dependent changes are found in normal cerebral tissue after GKR. These results provide an explanation of the process taking place during the latent period before delayed radiation necrosis develops.

With the development of natural products, the research activities on the solubilization methods of water-insoluble natural products have been carried out worldwide. Big molecular weight and poor solubility of most natural active ingredients lead to a very poor oral absorption and low bioavailability, which has extremely limited their development in pharmaceutical fields and clinical application. As a result, it is necessary to find out a suitable technique to improve the solubility and enhance the oral bioavailability of insoluble natural drugs. Based on the related references published in these years, this review introduced some new techniques to improve the solubility and bioavailability of natural drugs, including prodrugs, inclusion complex, solid dispersion, cocrystals, osmotic pump, liquisolid compacts, micronization, self-microemulsifying, nanosuspensions, lipsomes, polymeric micelles and so on, and summarized the theory, characteristics, application range, application examples, problems and development direction of each technique.

Chongqing Medicine 2015;(7):927-928
Objective To investigate the clinical treatment efficacy of mutabilis coated nasal ointment to postoperative nasal septal reconstruction. Methods After surgical reconstruction,116 cases were divided into the treatment group and control group ac-cording to random method,58 cases in each group. The treatment group was given mutabilis coated nasal ointment combine with physiological seawater nasal care device;the control group was only given physiological seawater nasal care device in the same time. The effects were observed for 6 months. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was higher than the control group (98.28%),the two groups had significant difference(P <0.05).Postoperative follow-up,the bleeding rate in the treatment group have no significant difference compared with the control group(P >0.05);the incidence of infection and cavity stricture in the treat-ment group were significantly lower than the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion The application of mutabilis coated nasal oint-ment can promote the wound healing of nasal cavity, but also can prevent the operation adhesion, and shorten repair time,so as to improve the clinical effect of operation.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2013;(7):732-735
As one of the first resident standardized training bases, department of ophthalmology of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital participated in this reform process from 2010. Relevant rules and regulations (training management system , training scheme implementation system and evaluation system ) were strictly obeyed. When new problems emerged, under the guidance of department in charge, a series of regimens were formulated and improved gradually by Ophthalmology Professional Committee of Shanghai Resident Standardized Training Department. Based on reviewing and summarizing the work in the last 3 years, some thoughts and suggestions on the resident standardized training in future were put forward ,in-cluding how to better solve the“heavily used, lightly cultured” problem, the“disregarding medical ethics establishment”problem, the“disregarding assessment of teachers”problem and the“disregard-ing obtaining employment”problem.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of losartan combined with amiodarone in cardioversion of atrial fibrillation(AF)and maint of sinus rhythm in patients with paroxysmal AF.Methods From January 2003 to October 2005,a total of 86 consecutive patients with paroxysmal AF in 421 Hospital of PLA were randomly dividid into two group:group A(amiodarone,n=44)and.group B(amiodarone plus losartan n=42).The conversion of atrial fibrillation in 24 h,3 d and 7 d after therapy was investigated. The left atrial diameter was measured with transthoracic echocardiogram at before and after 6,12-months of treatment andyzed up to 12 months. Results The rate of cardioversion of AF is significantly higher in group A than group B at 7 d(86.36% vs 95.23%,P

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2023;57(3):506-515
Exosome is a self-secreted phospholipid bilayer nanovesicles, and has shown great potential in drug delivery field due to the important advantages of low immunogenicity and homologous targeting. Phototherapy, mainly includes photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT), utilize light to activate photoactive drug for tumor cell killing. The advanced therapeutic strategy shows low toxic side-effect and non-invasion precise advantages, and thus has made great progress in tumor treatment over the past few years. Therefore, using exosomes as a drug delivery system to deliver phototherapeutic agents can improve therapeutic performances with a reduced side-effect, and further enhance their application potential for clinical tumor therapy. This review focus on the rising cross-subjects field involving exosomes and phototherapy, and mainly introduce the research progress and relative case of exosomes-based delivery system for cancer phototherapy. Additionally, the advantages and challenges of exosome-based phototherapy are also discussed and proposed.

Previous studies have shown that ginsenoside Rb1 (Rb1), one of active components in ginseng, can activate insulin signaling pathway and promote translocation of glucose transporters (GLUTs) to increase glucose uptake in adipocytes. However, the effect of Rb1 on the expressions of GLUTs remains unknown. In this study, the effects of Rb1 on GLUT1 and GLUT4 were observed in 3T3-L1 adipocytes and epididymal adipose tissue of db/db obese diabetic mice. Male db/db mice were treated with Rb1 by intraperitoneal injection at the dosage of 20 mg x kg(-1) for 14 d. Rb1 reduced HOMA-IR significantly (P < 0.05, n = 5), and FBG and FINS sowed declining trend after treatment with Rb1. Rb1 recovered the expressions of GLUT1 and GLUT4 and phosphorylation of AKT in adipose tissue of db/db mice. In vitro, glucose consumption in 3T3-L1 adipocytes treated with 10 micromol x L(-1) Rb1 for 24 h was elevated (P < 0.05, n=3), and mRNA of GLUT1 and GLUT4 were up-regulated (P < 0.05, n=3) and proteins of GLUT1 and GLUT4 were also increased. AKT was activated in adipocytes treated with Rb1 for 3 h. It can be concluded that ginsenoside Rb1 can up-regulate the expression of GLUTs in adipose tissue, in addition to activate insulin signalling pathway, which may partially account for its insulin sensitizing activity and regulating effect of glucose metabolism.
