1.Update on the molecular targeted therapy for cervical cancer
China Oncology 2015;(1):73-80
Cervical cancer is one of the most common and deadliest cancers in females worldwide. Despite the treatment methods of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are maturing, the prognosis of patients with recurrent, advanced or metastatic cervical cancer remains poor. Molecular targeted therapy provides new hope for these patients. This review focuses on the advances in agents targeting vascular endothelial growth factor pathway, epidermal growth factor receptor, mammalian target of rapamycin, histone deacetylases and cyclooxygenase-2 in cervical cancer.
2.Vitrectomy of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in morning glory syndrome
International Eye Science 2010;10(3):424-426
We report a case of retinal detachment in morning glory syndrome(MGS). We think that identification of the retinal break, removal of the traction force by vitrectomy, the use of long-acting gas as endotamponade, all contributed to the successful treatment of the disease. The pathogenic mechanisms of the disease and the function of B-scan to the diagnosis are included.

Objective: Based on optimized method of DNA ligase chain reaction in medium/low throughput genotyping, we assessed the relationship between NOD-like receptor genes NOD1, NOD2 and coronary artery disease (CAD) occurrence. Methods: A multiplex PCR was conducted to enrich DNA template; probe design, annealing temperature, time and number of circulation of PCR were opfimizecl for allele specific ligation; allele specific products were identified by fluorescence PCR and capillary electrophoresis; the accuracy was verified by Sanger sequencing. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) on NOD1 gene and NOD2 gene were examined in 1555 CAD patients and 1887 control subjects; the relationship between SNPs and CAD occurrence was studied. Results: Based on optimized PCR condition and allele specific probe design, 30 allele loci genotyping can be genotyped by 10ng DNA template at one time. Association study presented that rs751271 and rs1861759 on NOD2 gene were related to non-hypertensive CAD, allP<0.05; with Bonferroni correction, such correlation was still significant, allP<0.05. Conclusion: We optimized DNA ligase chain reaction and established a novel high accuracy, low cost method for the demand of medium/low throughput genotyping in clinical molecular diagnosis. With this method, we identified that rs1861759 and rs751271 on NOD2 gene were associated with non-hypertensive CAD.

Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(02):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Easy Prosthesis D-10 on open preperitoneal groin tension-free hernioplasty.MethodsThe operative time,operation-correlated complications, hospital stay and recent follow-up findings of 63 patients underwent preperitoneal groin tension-free hernioplasty were analyzed from October 2006 to April 2008.ResultsNo case died in perioperative period. The average operative time was(47.6?10.5)minutes.None of incision infection and scrotal hydrocele occurred. The average hospital stay was(7.7?2.1)days.During follow-up period of 6 to 24 months,no recurrence, chronic pain and foreign body sensation were found.ConclusionThe open preperioneal groin tension-free hernioplasty by Easy Prosthesis D-10 is safe and reliable, especially for the inguinal hernia with large hernia ring or defect of transversalis fascia and recurrent hernia.
6.Study on Immuniated Fnnction in Infants with Bronchiolitis
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore the immuniated function of infants with bronchiolitis. Methods In vitro production of IL-18,12, 10, 4, IFN-? by peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) and plasma IgE of bronchiolitis infants measured by enzyme-linked im-munosorbent assay, expression of lymphocyte activation gene - 3 (LAG - 3) mRNA from PBMC measured by semi - quantitative RT- PCR.Forteen healthy children were as normal control. Results Compared with normal control, IL - 12 (390. 94 ? 95. 88 vs 452.44?195.07) ng/L and IL-18(146.23? 55. 81 vs 246.69?121.29) ng/L activity were significantly decreased (P0.05) ;The levels of IL-4(30. 52 ? 17. 65 vs 16.20? 8.94) ng/L and IL-10 (302. 40 ? 100.04 vs 195.30? 84.01) ng/L were elevated significantly(P

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2001;0(05):-
The pattern of incidence and clin ic al presentation of primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) collected during the past 45 years were analysed. It showed that most of PHPT patients were young or mid- aged, and female patients were somewhat more than male patients. The duration of illness was longer and symptoms were more severe. The number of post-menopausa l female patients was increased in recent ten years.

2.65 mmol/L with co-elevated PTH. For locating the adenoma, the specificity of B-Us was 95% and the sensitivity of MIBI was 100%. Our standard surgical procedure were bilateral exploration. We found much more tumors in inferior glands than that in superior glands. The success rate in a single exploration in benign cases was 99%. Conclusions PHPT could be diagnosed by co-elevated calcemia and PTH. B-US with 99m Tc-MIBI was the first choice for localization. Bilateral exploration is safe and effective.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(01):-
Objective To study the clinical characteristics of thyroid carcinoma in young females,in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Methods The clinical data of 74 consecutive young female patients with thyroid carcinoma treated in our hospital in the recent ten years were analysed. In most of the cases, there was no firm texture or fixation of the thyroid nodules to surrounding structures on physical examination before operation.Ultrasonography was performed in all patients and multiple thyroid nodules were found in 61 cases(82.43%).Thyroid scintiscans were performed in 43 cases, and thyroid nodules were found in 41 cases. The cold, cool and warm nodules were found in 14,18 and 9 cases, respectively,by scintiscans.Fine needle aspiration biopsy(FNAB) was performed in 11 cases, and in 2 cases were negative,1 case showed abnormal cell,3 cases were suspicious of carcinoma, and 5 cases were confirmed papillary carcinoma. Results Papillary carcinoma was found in 70 cases, follicular carcinoma in 3 cases and medullary carcinoma in 1 case by histological examination, and benign disease was also accompanied in most cases.Lymph node metastases was found in 28 cases(37.84%),and the rate of metastases was significantly different than that of older female patients(16.46%) at the same time. There were 2 cases who died 3 years after operation because of metastases. Conclusions The lymph node metastases were prevalent in young female patients with thyroid carcinoma. The texture and mobility of the nodules cannot be used to differentiate benign from malignant nodules. We should carefully analyze every nodule found on ultrasonography. For the solid nodules with diameter larger than 1.0cm,we suggest operation;for the non-solid nodules with diameter larger than 2.0cm,we prefer scintiscans and FNAB for diagnosis.
