Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Myeloid differentiation protein-2(MD-2)can separately and simultaneously bind lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)has been shown to play critical roles in mediated recognition responses to LPS by TLR4 and signal transduction induced by LPS.MD-2 can be bound by LPS,not TLR4.The cells have no responsiveness or weak responsiveness to LPS without MD-2.MD-2 can be secreted into blood plasma, formed soluble MD-2 and remotely regulated cells that contained TLR4 without MD-2.MD-2 has been shown to play important roles in endotoxin signal transduction.MD-2 is a small molecular, short nucleic acid fragment, easily regulated should become a new potential anti-inflammatory target.

Objective To explore a brief regimen to treat and manage asthmatic patients. Methods 122 asthmatic patients(including 12 inpatients) treated and managed at respiratory clinic were followed up for 1~10 years. The data of these patients were collected and analysed Results On the base of asthma education patients were received inhaled glucocorticoid combined with ? 2 agonist and/or theophylline for two to five years Of 122 patients,20(16 4%) patients remised and remained good control without any medication,90(73 8%) patients relapsed within 1 to 2 years after drug withdrawal Conclusions Asthmatic patients must be treated and managed regularly according to GINA It was especially emphasized that inhaled glucocorticoid is the mainstay of ling term threapy Most patients can remise for quite a long time with agreeable quality of life while a few patients can be cured
4.Transdermal drug delivery technology for brain-targeted drug delivery
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2023;58(8):2334-2340
Intracerebral delivery of drugs for the treatment of central nervous system disorders is usually limited by the blood-brain barrier (BBB). Transdermal drug delivery systems (TDDS) have the advantage of improving patient compliance and avoiding first-pass effects compared to intravenous, oral and intranasal drug delivery, and are an emerging non-invasive drug delivery route that facilitates long-term drug delivery to patients. The discovery of direct subcutaneous targeting of lymphatic pathways to brain tissue has made TDDS a new brain-targeted drug delivery strategy. At the same time, the development of nano-delivery technology has further facilitated the application of TDDS for targeted drug delivery to the brain. This review summarizes the mechanism of transdermal drug delivery into the brain and the application of TDDS in the treatment of brain diseases, providing new ideas and methods for the treatment of central nervous system diseases.

Objective To look for and confirm the downstream regulated gene of microRNA (miRNA)-148a in pancreatic cancer cell line. Methods The target gene regulated by miRNA-148a was predicted through bio-informatics analysis. The plasmid containing desired gene and with luciferase 3'-untranslated region (3'-UTR) reporter was constructed.Pancreatic cancer cells BXPC-3 were transfected with analogs and inhibitors of miRNA-148a by liposomes. The activity of luciferase was measured to determine whether miRNA-148a directly connected with desired gene. The expression level of miRNA-148a was changed in BXPC-3 cells, and the changes of target gene v-verb-b2 erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homolog 3 (awian) (ErbB3) expression were detected by Western blot at protein level. The data were analyzed by one way ANOVA.Results There was a conservative binding site of ErbB3 with miRNA-148a detected by bio-informatics analysis,miRNA-148a directly combined with ErbB3 and the activity of luciferase decreased to (25.00+47.00) % of the negative control (F=4.66,P< 0.01).After miRNA-148a overexpression, the gray value of ErbB3 expression in BXPC-3 cells decreased to (26.16±4.69)% of control group (F=6.563,P<0.05).Conclusion miRNA-148a directly targeted and regulated the expression of ErbB3 in pancreatic cancer cell line BXPC-3.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To develop a method for the simultaneous separation and determination of 10 kinds of sedative hypnotica drugs in the functional food with high performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry system. Methods The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and 15 mmol/L ammonium acetate solution(0.1% formic acid ),chromatographic column was Zobax SB C 18.Identification was based on the compound's absolute retention time, protonated molecular ion,and representative fragment ion by multiple reaction monitoring. The condition of determination was investigated and optimized. Results With this method, the linear range for the 10 drugs was 10-1 080 ?g/kg,the average recoveries ranged from 80.5%-97.1% and the detection limits were from 0.35-12.0?g/kg respectively. Conclusion The method established in the present paper is applicable to monitoring sedative hypnotica drug in the functional food.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(18):-
Objective To explore continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT) machine for plasma exchange in critical disease in children. Methods Retrospective study of 8 patients(8 month to 14 years, mean 5.7 years) and 32 plasma exchange treatments, after(adowble) lumen catheter inserted into the subclayian venous, using the Baxter BM25 machine with commercially available plasma filters. Results Five patients(3 ABO-incompatibility in bone marrow transplantation,1 thrombotic thrombocytopaenic purpura TTP,1 sepsis) gained full recovery. One systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) and 1 sepsis experienced moderate improvement while 1 case of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis failed PE treatment. The average total exchange volume was 80-100 mL/kg,achieved at a blood flow rate of 5-10 mL/(kg?min) and a turnover rate of 60-120 mL/(kg?h) over a 3-hours duration.Thirty-one PE treatments were finished smoothly, one of which experienced the serious complication involving plasma filter. Conclusion Plasma exchange therapy is a safe and effective procedure for severe autoimmune abnormalities and pathogen removal in children.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of prehypertension among postmenopausal women.Methods2 592[(43±12)years old] health women were collected as the research object in Saihan District of Hohhot in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in April 2015,including 697[(58±6)years old] postmenopausal subjects and 1 895[(37±8)years old] premenopausal subjects.T test was used to compare means of blood pressure, fasting blood glucose (FBG), blood lipid, and body massive index (BMI) between postmenopausal group and premenopausal group and to compare prevalence of prehypertension, hyperglycemias, dyslipidemias, overweight, and obesity between two groups.Logistic Regression was implemented to analyze the relationship between different risk factors and prehypertension among postmenopausal women. Results Compared with premenopausal women, the systolic pressure, diastolicpressure, BMI, FBG, triacylglycerol (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL) in postmenopausal women were significantly higher(P<0.05).Prevalence of prehypertension, impaired fasting glucose (IFG), diabetes, TG abnormalities, LDL abnormalities, overweight, and obesity in postmenopausal women were significantly higher than in premenopausal women(P<0.05).Age 55 to 59, 60 to 64 and above 65 years overweight, obesity, IFG and diabetes were independent risk factors of prehypertension among postmenopausalwomen. Conclusions Age 55 yearsand above, overweight, obesity, IFG and diabetes are the independent risk factors of prehypertension among postmenopausal women.
