Objective To approach the effect of prosthetic valve at preventing reflux esophagitis.Methods After the total gastrectomy and esophagojejunostomy,interrupted suture was apphed to form a prosthetic valve at output and input beyond Braun's stoma.Results Only one got light reflux esophagitis in 15 patients.Conclusion Prosthetic valve can prevent reflux esophagitis,and the operation is convenient and safe,which is deserved to be in generalization and approach the latest method.

Objective To study the effect of chronic electrical stimulus at a low physiological frequency on the expression of myosin heavy chain (MHC) in genioglossus of rabbits with chronic hypoxia.Methods Twenty-four adult rabbits,weighing 2.3?0.1kg,were randomized into control group (A),chronic hypoxia group (B),10 Hz electrical stimulus group (C),and 10+40 Hz electrical stimulus group (D).Rabbits in groups C and D received electrical stimulus of genioglossus at a frequency of 10 Hz and 10+40 Hz,respectively,while those in group B received no electrical stimulus,after they were placed in a hypobaric hypoxia cabin,8 h a day for 5 weeks,with free access to food and water.Expression of MHC in genioglossus of rabbits in the 4 groups was detected by SDS-PAGE and semi-quantitative inverse transcription RT-PCR,respectively.Results The expression level of MHCⅠand MHCⅠmRNA was significantly lower while that of MHCⅡa was significantly higher in group B than in group A [(0.69?0.07)% vs (17.48?4.00)%,(0.69?0.07)% vs (1.05?0.06)%,and (79.89?5.09)% vs (73.33?4.17)%,P

In recent years,more and more researchers have realized the possibility that algicidal bacteria could be a useful tool in reducing the impact of harmful algae blooms. In this review, the ecological roles of algicidal substances was briefly discussed, then special emphasis placed on the categories and extract methods of algicidal substances which have been reported. Some ideas for the further studies on algicidal substances were also proposed.

BACKGROUND: A latest research indicates that γ~δ T cells following touching with microbe products show characteristics as dendritic cells and antigen-presenting cells (APC) and induce intensive immune response of CD4~+ CD8~+ γ~δ T cells.OBJECTIVE: To verify APC-like functions of γ~δ T cells during transplantation rejection, investigate a simple and effective method to amplify γ~δ T cells in vitro, and to infect γ~δ T cells with FasL retrovirus system.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: An animal experiment was performed at Central Laboratory of the First Affiliated Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from August 2007 to August 2008. MATERIALS: A total of 60 healthy adult Wistar rats of clean grade and weighing 200-320 g were used to establish donor and receptor models with segmental heterotopic small intestine transplantation.METHODS: Models of segmental heterotopic small intestine transplantation were established using three sleevelet vascular anastomosis. γ~δ T cells were obtained using flow cytometry and its function was demonstrated. Mononuclear cells were routinely separated and amplified with Mtb-Ag. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Cell proliferation was observed; percentage of γ~δ T cells for lymphocytes was detected using TCRγ~δ magnetic beads kit; γ~δ T cells following transfection were detected using pLXSN FasL retrovirus system. RESULTS: Activated γ~δ T cells showed dendritic cell-like adhesion function and APC-like functions during transplantation rejection. γ~δ T cells accounted 4.5% for mononuclear cells, the purification of γ~δ T cells was up to 72.2% on the 10~(th) day after activated by Mtb-Ag, and the purification of γ~δ T cells was up to 99.1% through positive magnetic sorting. 285 bp FasL fragment demonstrated that the gene integration was observed in PA317 cells. The ration of FasL+ cells was 97.3% after infected by pLXSN FasL retrovirus system.CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated APC-like functions of γ~δ T cells during transplantation rejection. γ~δ T cells were successfully amplified in vitro. PA317/ pLXSN2FasL+ retrovirus system was successfully constructed and γ~δ T cells were modified by FasL retrovirus system.

Abstract? AlM: To explore the effect of Danshen injection iontophoresis combined with lumbrukinase on early patients with retinal vein occlusion ( RVO ) , and observe the prognosis to provide objective basis for clinical?METHODS: Eighty-two patients ( 117 eyes ) with early RVO were randomly selected in our hospital from January, 2011 to April, 2014, 41 cases (59 eyes) of control group treated with Lumbrokinase. Forty-one cases ( 58 eyes) of the observation group, treated with Danshen injection iontophoresis combined with lumbrokinase. The main indexes were the treatment effect, visual acuity and retinal circulation time.?RESULTS: The total effective rate of the observation group was 85. 4% ( 35/41 ), more than that of control group 68. 3% ( 28/41 ), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The invalid rate of the observation group was 14. 6% (6/41), lower than that of the control group 31. 7% ( 13/41 ), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The vision of the observation group 4. 8 ~5. 0 was 53. 7% (22/41), more than that of control group 41. 5% ( 17/41 ), the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0. 05 ). The restore vision of the observation group 4. 3 ~ 4. 7 was 31. 7% (13/41), lower than that of the control group 41. 5% ( 17/41 ), the difference was statistically significant ( P<0. 05 ). After treatment, retinal circulation time of two groups were lower than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). After treatment of retinal vein circulation time of the observation group was 8. 15 ± 1. 30s, 9. 70 ± 1. 28s lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05).?CONCLUSlON: There is better effective on Danshen injection iontophoresis combined with Lumbrokinase for early retinal vein occlusion, and can improve the patient's visual acuity, promote the rehabilitation of patients.

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of low level laser irradiation (LLLI) on cerebral infraction combined with hypertension.Methods Two groups were divided, conventional treatment group and laser irradiation combined with conventional treatment group.LLLI (650 nm, 20 mW, 20 min, twice a day, two weeks therapy) was used by extravascular way in addition to conventional treatment, while control group employed conventional treatment only.Whole blood viscosity, plasma blood pressure, lipid and neurological function were assessed by comparing the index of the two groups.Results Whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear reductive viscosity, hematokit (HTC), erythrocyte deformation index, erythrocyte rigidity index, fibrinogen and blood lipid level of both groups decreased and the decrease of the testing group was more significant than that of control group (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Neurological deficit score an blood pressure of both groups showed significant decrease (P＜0.05), and the decrease in blood pressure of testing group was significant than that of the control group (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusions 650 nm extravascular LLLI may be effective in treatment of cerebral infraction combined with hypertension, and has a good application prospect.

Objective To study the efficacy and safety magnesium sulfate for the treatment of adult severe tetanus.MethodsTwenty-seven inpatients with adult severe tetanus during April 2005 - October 2010 were retrospectively analysed.ResultsThe total serum magnesium more than 4 mmol/L was found in 2 patients ( 2/27,7.40％ ).The tracheotomy was performed in 25 Patients (25/27,92.6％),22 of which (22/25,88.0％) run mechanical ventilation with the mean mechanical ventilation time (7.5 ± 3.7 ) days,(4 to 16 days).Pulmonary infection occurred in 25 cases (25/27,92.6％).Twenty-three of 27 (23/27,85.2％ ) cases were cured except 4 cases died,and the mean hospital stay was (32.22 ± 18.78) days,(25to 48) days.Conclusions20％ magnesium sulfate is safe for treatment of the patients of adult severe tetanus.It can control not only muscle rigidity and spasms but also autonomic instability efficaciously,and lower the dosage of sedative such as diazepam and chlorpromazine.This method is worth popularizing in clinical practice for its easy operation and low cost.

ObjectiveTo identify differential genes of malignant melanoma using gene chip expression profiles.MethodsAgilent Human 1A OligoDNA was employed to find out difference in gene expression between malignant melanoma and nevus. The total RNA was isolated from two type tissues, labled the fluorescent to the probe, hybridized, washed and analyzed.ResultsAmong the 21073 target genes, 1596 genes were differentially expressed in malignant melanoma, including 733 genes up-regulated, and 863 down-regulated.ConclusionThe gene chip technique can screen genes that may be specifically expressed in malignant melanoma.
