Objective To explore the pulsed wave Doppler (PWD) manifestations of acute experimental incomplete testicular torsion. Methods Eight healthy dogs were surgically modeled to obtain unilateral acute testis torsion from 180° to 630°, respectively. The peak systole velocity (PSV) and resistance index (RI) of intratesticular artery, capsular artery and arteria spermatica interna were measured with PWD before torsion, 2 h, 4 h and 6 h after torsion. Testes were examined pathologically after the experiment. Results PSV and RI of capsular artery and intratesticular artery decreased gradually with the extension of torsional time (P<0.05). PSV and RI of superior, torsional and inferior segments of arteria spermatica interna varied greatly and showed no strong regularity (P>0.05) . The pathological results of testes showed no distinct changes or just mild interstitial hyperemia and edema. Conclusion The decrease of PSV and RI of capsular artery and intratesticular artery, especially RI have referential value in the judgement of acute experimental incomplete testicular torsion, whereas changes of PSV and RI of superior, torsional and inferior segments of arteria spermatica interna are not reliable.

Objective To evaluate the value of phased array probe of transesophageal echocardiography miniature (micro-TEE) in the neonatal and infant cardiac surgery intraoperation. Methods Micro-TEE probe was used in children with weight ≤5 kg undergoing cardiac surgery to detect the atrial and ventricular cavity size, the left and right ventricular outflow tract diameter were detected by transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) 3-7 d after operation, and compared with the measured value immediately after the TEE.Results Before and after intubation, airway index not statistically significant (P > 0.05).Preoperative TEE and TTE inspection results were consistent with intraoperative diagnosis.Postoperative TEE measuring intracardiac structural data (each room, chamber size and left and right ventricular outflow tract diameter) and postoperative TTE measurement value representing the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05).Conclusions Micro TEE intraoperative guardianship of low birth weight infants is safe and feasible, and can supplement and improve the preoperative diagnosis, and can accurately and timely evaluate postoperative curative effect.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of ticagrelor plus cilostazol of different dosage in the treatment of low-weight patients after PCI.Methods A total of 148 consecutive ACS patients (body weight ≤ 65 kg) past PCI and with aspirin intolerance were enrolled and randomly divided into four groups.Patients given cilostazol 50mg twice daily plus clopidogrel 75 mg daily were named as the CC50 mg group.Patients in the CC100 mg group were given cilostazol 100 mg twice daily plus clopidogrel 75 mg daily. The TCS0 mg group were given cilostazol 50 mg twice daily plus standard ticagrelor 90mg twice daily and the TC100 mg group were given cilostazol 50 mg twice daily plus standard ticagrelor 90 mg twice daily. All patients were followed up clinically for 6 months. The clinical endpoints were MACEs and bleeding events.Platelet aggregation at 7 and 30 days after treatment the incidence of clinical endpoints during followup were compared between the four groups. Results Patients in the TC100mg group had the lowest platelet aggregation rates tested on both the 7th and 30th day after treatment among all the 4 groups. After 6 months of follow up,the MACEs rate was not significantly different between the four groups (P =0.930).Bleeding events rates in the TC100 mg group the highest among the 4 but without groups significant differences. Conclusions In ACS patients with low body weight ≤ 65 kg) past PCI and with aspirin intolerance, cilostazol 50mg twice daily plus ticagrelor is a safe and efficacious therapeutic regimen.

BACKGROUND:Both calcium phosphate cement II and recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein have certain osteoinductive effects, which have the possibility of repairing tendon-bone interface injury. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the osteoinductive effect of calcium phosphate cement II and its biomechanics analysis of repairing tendon-bone interface injury. METHODS:Five out of 35 adult healthy New Zealand white rabbits were randomly selected and their bilateral shoulder joint tendon-bone interface specimens were taken as normal control group after being sacrificed. The remaining 30 rabbits were used to make animal models of tendon-bone interface injury and then randomly divided into experimental and model groups. Rabbits in the model group had no treatment, and those in the experimental group were treated with calcium phosphate cement II. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: After repair with calcium phosphate cement II, the injured tendon-bone interface of rabbits was obviously restored, and the repair effect became better with time. The expression level of bone morphogenetic protein 2 was also increased accordingly. The maximum tensile strength and the maximum stiffness of the injured tendon-bone interface were obviously increased. These results demonstrate that calcium phosphate cement II combined with recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein has good osteoinductive and repair effect in repair of tendon-bone interface injury.

Objective:To evaluate the effects of resin infiltration in the treatment of post-orthodontic white spot lesions (WSLs)and compare it with microabrasion.Methods:1 0 subjects with 66 teeth with noncavitated and unrestored WSLs after multibracket treatment were recruited.A simple randomized,split-mouth and controlled design was used to allocate WSLs to the resin infiltration and micro-abrasion groups(n =33).The area of the WSLs were measured photographically by using image analysis software before treatment (T0),1 week(T2)and 3 months(T3)after treatment.Data were analyzed with multifactorial analysis of the variances with repeated measures at an a level of 5% and a power of 80%.Results:The area of the white spot lesions(R)decreased significantly in both groups(P <0.05).At T3 the success rate of resin infiltration group(88.68%)was significantly higher than that of microabrasion group (64.67%)(P <0.05).Conclusion:Resin infiltration is more effective than microabrasion in the treatment of post-orthodontic WSLs.

Objective To study the value of application of histamine provocation test and airway resistance measurement in diagnosis and therapeutic efficacy in preschool children with asthma. Methods Histamine provocation test and airway resistance measurement by the Italian MEFAR MB3 provocating instrument and Germen Microloop lung function instrument for 42 cases who were diagnosed as asthmatic(27 patients with bronchial asthma and 15 cases of cough variant asthma)and 21 healthy cases was compared, and the differences between the 2 groups and the value of therapeutic efficacy were analyzed. Results The resistance ratio of respiratory tract of control group was(97.11?9.09)%,which in asthma and cough variant asthma group was(229.37?57.48)% and(248.80?76.80)%.There was significant difference between the 3 groups(F=48.466 P
