Abstract: Objective　To understand the pollution characteristics and sources of PM2.5 in the atmosphere during heating and non-heating periods in Urumqi City in 2021, and provide scientific basis for pollution control during different periods. Method A total of 188 air samples were collected from area A and area B of Urumqi City, and 12 metal elements and 5 water-soluble ions were quantitatively analyzed, and the pollution sources were analyzed by enrichment factor method and principal component analysis method. Results In 2021, the mass concentrations of PM2.5 in areas A and B of Urumqi were 45.0 (20.0, 158) µg/m3 and 28.0 (17.5, 66.0) µg/m3, respectively, with statistically significant difference (Z=-2.870, P<0.05). During the heating period, the concentrations were 110 (68.0, 250) µg/m3 and 61.0 (31.0, 88.0) µg/m3, respectively, with no statistically significant difference (Z=-3.822, P<0.01). During the non-heating period, the concentrations were 18.0 (13.0, 22.3) µg/m3 and 18.0 (12.8, 22.0) µg/m3, respectively, with no statistically significant difference (Z=-0.596, P>0.05). The SNA (the sum of SO42-, NO3-and NH4+) accounted for 71.7% and 23.4% of PM2.5 in A area during heating and non-heating periods, respectively, with statistically significant difference (Z=-8.057, P<0.01); the corresponding proportions in B area were 60.7% and 24.9%, with statistically significant difference (Z=-6.672, P<0.01). During the heating and non-heating periods, the ratios of NO3-/SO42-are 0.63 and 0.54 in A area were 0.63 and 0.54, respectively, with statistically significant difference (Z=-2.382, P<0.05); and the corresponding ratios in B area were 0.72 and 0.53, respectively, with statistically significant difference (Z=-3.182, P<0.05). The ratio of NO3- to SO42- was less than 1 in both heating and non-heating periods in the two areas. and the correlation between five water-soluble ions was significant (P<0.05). The correlation coefficient between NH4+ and SO42-, NO3-and Cl- in A and B areas during heating periods were all >0.9, indicating that NH4+and SO42-, NO3- and Cl- bind in (NH4)2SO4, NH4HSO4, NH4NO3, and NH4Cl. During non-heating periods, the correlation between NH4+ and each ion was slightly lower. During heating periods in area A, Sb, As, Cd, Pb, and Tl were severely enriched (EF>100). During non-heating periods in the same area, As, Cd, Pb, Tl, and Hg were severely enriched (EF>100). During heating periods in area B, Sb, As, Cd, Pb, and Hg were severely enriched (EF>100), and during non-heating periods in the same area, Sb, Cd, and Hg were severely enriched (EF>100). Coal emission, photochemical secondary pollution, motor vehicle exhaust, dust and industrial pollution were the main sources of PM2.5 pollution in the two areas, and the contribution rate of fixed sources was higher than that of mobile sources. Conclusion In 2021, the mass concentration of PM2.5, water-soluble ions and metal elements in Urumqi City were higher in area A than area B, the heating period was higher than the non-heating period, the excess rate of area A was higher than that in area B, and the contribution rate of fixed air pollution was greater than that of mobile sources.

Objective To study the changes and significance of Bid gene expression in hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (HIBD) in neonatal rats.Methods The animal models of HIBD were made. Total RNA from ipsilateral cerebral hemisph ere was extracted.RT-PCR was used to evaluate the levels of Bid gene expression at different time points after hypoxic-ischemic. Results The levels of Bid mRNA were higher in HIBD rats than those in normal rats.The ex pression of Bid mRNA in ipsilateral hemiphere following cerebral hypoxic-ischem ic began to increase at 6 h, increased to the highest level at 24 h, and then gr adually returned.Conclusion The upregulation of Bid mRNA can play a role in the induction of apoptosis fol lowing cerebral hypoxic-ischemic. Objective To explore the differences of Th17 population and serum transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 levels between early-and late-stage primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) and their roles in pathogenesis.Methods Peripheral Th17 counts were analyzed by flow cytometry.The expression of IL-17A in peripheral blood mononuclear cells and TGF-β1 were measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Serum concentration of TGF-β1 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Liver biopsies were stained with hematoxylin-eosin to determine the pathological stage.Results were evaluated using KrustalWallis test followed by Mann-Whitney U tests for comparisons of Th17 population between patients with early and late PBC,patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and health controls (HCs).ANOVA followed by LSD t-tests were used for comparing IL-17 mRNA,TGF-β1 mRNA and TGF-β1 serum concentration between groups.The correlations between Mayo risk score and peripheral Th17 of PBC patients,Mayo risk score and serum concentration of TGF-β1 was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis separately.Results The peripheral Th17 population increased in patients with early PBC (1.03±0.33)％,compared to those with late PBC [(0.48± 0.13％,U=14.0,P＜0.01],CHB [(0.56±0.35)％,U=104.5,P＜0.01],and HCs [(0.36±0.17)％,U=8.0,P＜0.01],while TGF-β1 changed in the opposite direction.Serum concentration of TGF-β1 elevated in late PBC (43.0± 18.7) ng/ml compared with early PBC (29.5±12.2) ng/ml,t=2.85,P=0.006.Conclusion The opposite changes of Th17 population and TGF-β1 level in early and late PBC indicated their different roles in different stages.Th17 may contribute to the autoimmune response in early PBC,participate in the occurrence of autoimmune inflammation,while TGF-β1 to fibrogenesis in late stage.In addition,the possible regulation mechanisms of differentiation of Th17 by TGF-β1 cannot be ignored.

Objective To explore role of 64-slices spiral CT in differetiation of acute chest pains.Methods Thirty six patients with acute chest pains were performed 64-slices spiral CT chest angiography.Two-dimensional and three-dimensional reconstruction was performed in all patients by means of multiplanar reconstruction(MPR)(coronal,sgittal oblique),curved planar reformation(CPR), maximum intensity projection(MIP),and volume rendering(VR).All images were blindly reading by two experienced radiologist.DSA were performed at the same time in 16 cases.Results The coronary artery branches,pulmonary artery and aortic artery in all patients were showed clearly,The acute myocardial infarction were showed in 10 cases,The pulmonary artery embolism in 14 cases,The aortic dissection in 6 cases respectively,The Coronary embolism in One case ,pneumothorax In One case The constrictive pericarditis in 1 case respectively.Normal findings in 4 cases.Conclusion 64-slices spiral CT is a useful and noninvasive examination in acute chest pain.

Research on the association between maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia has generated inconsistent results. This meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the association between maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia. A literature search of PubMed and Embase was performed to identify relevant papers published before March 2013. Only observational studies that assessed maternal periodontal disease and the risk of preeclampsia were selected. Patients' periodontal status was examined at different time points during pregnancy or after delivery (at 14-32 weeks of gestation, within 48 h prior to or within 5 days after delivery). Pooled odds ratios (ORs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated for cases and controls. Cases were defined as women with concurrent hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks of gestation. Eleven studies involving 1118 women with preeclampsia and 2798 women without preeclampsia were identified and analyzed. Women with periodontal disease before 32 weeks of gestation had a 3.69-fold higher risk of developing preeclampsia than their counterparts without periodontal disease (OR=3.69; 95% CI=2.58-5.27). Periodontal disease within 48 h prior to delivery was associated with a 2.68-fold higher risk of preeclampsia (OR=2.68; 95% CI=1.39-5.18). Pregnant women with periodontal disease within 5 days after delivery had a 2.22-fold higher risk of preeclampsia than women without periodontal disease (OR=2.22; 95% CI=1.16-4.27). In conclusion, this meta-analysis suggests that maternal periodontal disease is an independent predictor of preeclampsia.

Objective To analyze factors influencing short-term effect of presurgical pharmacological thera-py and transsphenoidal microsurgery for somatotropinomas. Methods The clinical data of 53 patients underwent presurgical pharmacological therapy and transsphenoidal surgery for somatotropinomas were retrospectively analyzed in order to search for factors influencing effect of presurgical pharmacological therapy and transsphenoidal surgery for somatotropinomas. Results Serum GH inhibition rates decreased<50.00%from baseline in 62.26%of patients receiving presurgical pharmacological therapy. Statistical analysis concerning the influence of sex , neuropathological evaluation, tumor size and presence of invasion on presurgical pharmacological therapy effect were performed using a chi-squared test, no significant correlation was found among these factors and presurgical pharmacological therapy effect. Total remission rates were 43.40%, Statistical analysis concerning the influence of sex , neuropathological e valuation, tumor size, presence of invasion and presurgical pharmacological therapy effect on remission rate were performed using a chi-squared test, a significant correlation was found among tumor size, presence of invasion, presurgical pharmacological therapy effect and remission rate , while no significant correlation was found among the rest of the factors. Further Logistic regression analysis demonstrated a significant correlation among tumor size , presence of invasion and remission rate , while no significant correlation was found between presurgical pharmacolog-ical therapy effect and remission rate. Conclusions Presurgical pharmacological therapy effect revealed no signifi-cant correlation with sex, neuropathological evaluation, tumor size or presence of invasion. Total remission rate cor-related with tumor size and presence of invasion. A better presurgical pharmacological therapy effect may indicated a better outcome, while postoperative remission rate revealed no significant correlation with presurgical pharmacologi-cal therapy in our series.

OBJECTIVETo establish an animal model of acute blunt scrotal trauma (BST) and evaluate the types of lesion by conventional ultrasonography (CUS) and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS).

METHODSWe made acute BST models in 21 healthy male New Zealand rabbits by striking 3 - 12 times the unilateral testes randomly selected with a 0. 5 kg iron ball falling freely from a 30 cm height. Then we evaluated the lesion types in the models by CUS and CEUS and verified our evaluation against pathological results.

RESULTSAcute BST models were successfully established in all the 21 animals, including contusion in 10, hematoma in 6, and rupture in 5, all confirmed by pathology. CUS clearly manifested the morphology, internal echoes, and blood flow of the testes, but had a low rate of accurate diagnosis in testicular contusion for over 6 hours as well as in complex lesions. CEUS revealed an earlier perfusion of the contrast agent and shorter arriving time (AT) and time to peak intensity ( TP) in testicular contusion than in the control testes (P <0.05) , but showed no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the half time of descending peak intensity (P>0.05). For testicular hematoma, contrast agent clearly presented its outline and a delayed low enhancement in the surrounding tissue, with significant differences from the control in AT and TTP. In severe testis rupture, occasional outflow but no perfusion of contrast agent was observed.

CONCLUSIONBST models can be established in rabbits by repeated strikes of the unilateral testes lesion of contrast agent was observed. with a freely falling iron ball. Simple contusion injury can be induced by less than 6 strikes, while complex injuries can be inflicted by more than 10. Combined application of CUS and CEUS can improve the accuracy of diagnosis of different types of lesion.
