Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
0.05). In stratified studies, risk of asthma in individuals with null genotype of GSTM1 is 2.667 times of that with wild genotype after exposure to light air pollution. Risk of asthma in individuals living in heavy air pollution area is 2.125 time of that in light pollution area for all wild genotype of GSTM1 individuals, but without statistical significance. Conclusion It was not found that the relationship between GSTM1, GSTT1 polymorphism and asthma. Synergism of genotype of GSTM1, GSTT1 and air pollution was not also seen in this study.

4.Expression of Growth Arrest and DNA Damage Inducible Gene 45 ? during Preadipocyte Differentiation and Regulative Role of Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(17):-
Objective To investigate the changes of growth arrest and DNA damage inducible gene ?(GADD45?)expression during 3T3-L1 preadipocyte differentiation and analyze the regulative role of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-?) on GADD45? gene expression in matured 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Methods 3T3-L1 preadipocytes were cultured in vitro and differentiated into the matured adipocytes.TNF-? in different concentrations(0.1,1.0,10.0 ?g/L) was added into the culture medium of fully differentiated adipocytes(day 10) for various times(0.5,2,6,12,24 h).The levels of GADD45? gene mRNA expression were evaluated by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results With the 3T3-L1 preadipocytes being differentiated into the matured adipocytes, the level of GADD45? gene mRNA expression was downregulated and reached the lower level in fully differentiated adipocytes. There was a significant difference between any 2 detected phases in the levels of GADD45? gene mRNA expression(P0.05).Treatment of day 10(3T3-L1) adipocytes with TNF-? of different concentrations resulted in a significant increase in the level of GADD45? gene mRNA expression. The induction effect of TNF? on GADD45? gene mRNA expression generally tended to be reinforced with the elongation of time course. Conclusions GADD45? gene may be involved in adipocyte differentiation and adipogenesis.TNF-? can upregulate the mRNA expression of GADD45? gene in matured adipocytes. The induction effect of TNF-? on GADD45? gene expression is generally(time-)correlated.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To study the changes and significance of Bid gene expression in hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (HIBD) in neonatal rats. Methods The animal models of HIBD were made. Total RNA from ipsilateral cerebral hemisph ere was extracted.RT-PCR was used to evaluate the levels of Bid gene expression at different time points after hypoxic-ischemic. Results The levels of Bid mRNA were higher in HIBD rats than those in normal rats. The ex pression of Bid mRNA in ipsilateral hemiphere following cerebral hypoxic-ischem ic began to increase at 6 h, increased to the highest level at 24 h, and then gr adually returned. Conclusion The upregulation of Bid mRNA can play a role in the induction of apoptosis fol lowing cerebral hypoxic-ischemic. Objective To analyze the differences in the levels of serum adiponectin between premature neonates.and term neonates. To explore the effect of preterm on the level of serum adiponoctin and the mechanism by which prcterm contributes with the serious risk factor of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in adulthood.Method The serum adiponectin concentration was quan-tified in 30 term neonates and 21 premature neonates hy immunoradiometric assay. Results The concentration of serum adiponeetin was (34.29?7.24) mg/L in premature neonates and(62.47?28.33) mg/L in term neonates. The level of serum adiponetin in pre-mature neonates was significantly lower than that in term neonates ( P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(19):-
Objective To investigate the different expressions of adiponectin receptor 2(AdipoR2) mRNA in liver between diet-induced obese rats and controls. Methods The level of AdipoR2 mRNA expression was detected by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Insulin sensitivity was evaluated by insulin sensitivity index(ISI).Results Diet-induced obese rats showed higher expression of AdipoR2 mRNA compare to controls. The ISI of diet-induced obese rats was lower than that of controls. Conclusion High energy diet induceds AdipoR2 expression in liver.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To explore the protective effect of Red Sage Root on bronchopulmonary dysplasis(BPD) induced by hyperoxia in newborn rats. Methods On the 2nd postnatal day,SD newborn rats were randomly assigned to 4 groups:air and NS group(group Ⅰ),air and Red Sage Root group(group Ⅱ),hyperoxia and NS group(group Ⅲ),hyperoxia and Red Sage Root group(group Ⅳ).The rats in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ were exposed to hyperoxia(the level of oxygen was 900-960 mL/L).The rats in group Ⅱ and group Ⅳ were injected with Red Sage Root intraperitoneally(10 mg/kg)daily.On 14 days after birth,6 rats in each group were killed.Lung histologic changes, radical alveolar counts(RAC)were monitored.Thiobarbituric acid method, nitrite method,2-nitroben zoic acid method were used to determine the concentration of malony ldialdengde(MDA),superoxidedismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) were monitored. Results 1.Group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ showed the inhibition of lung development and the evident lung fibrosis. In contrast to group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ,RAC in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ decreased dramatically(Pa
9.A new component of breast milk: microRNA.
Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics 2012;14(9):719-723
MicroRNA (miRNA) is a class of non-coding endogenous small molecule single strand RNA which is found in human body fluids. In recent years, miRNAs have been found in breast milk and parts of miRNAs are related to immune organ development and regulation of the immune function in infants. This article summarizes the functions of miRNA in breast milk and evidence-based clinical practice, and the differences between microRNA content and species in breast milk and cow milk. Understanding the role of miRNA can bring new opportunities for childhood nutrition research.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the changes of calcium /calmodulin - dependent protein kinase Ⅱ (CAMKⅡD) gene expression in 3T3 - L1 preadipocyte diffe-rentiation and TNF - ? regulation of CAMKⅡD gene expression on matured adipocytes. Methods 3T3 - L1 preadipocytes were cultured and differentiated into adipocytes. The levels of CAMKⅡD gene mRNA expression at various times were evaluated by RT-PCR. Matured adipocytes were interfered with 0.1,1.0,10.0 ?g/L TNF - ? and the levels of CAMKⅡD gene mRNA expression were evaluated. Results The levels of CAMKⅡD gene mRNA expression in 3T3 - L1 adipocytes were significantly down- regulated at first day, compared with those at zero day (P0. 05). CAMKⅡD gene mRNA expression decreased significantly at 12 hours after treatment with 10.0 ?g/L TNF-?, treatment of matured adipocytes with TNF - ? did not have any regulation role on it. Conclusions CAMKⅡD gene is involved in the differentiation of adipocytes and related to the etiology of obesity. The changes in the level of CAMKⅡD gene mRNA expression during 3T3 - L1 preadipocyte differentiation may contribute to the differentiation and adipogenesis of adipocytes. It seems that TNF - ? does not have any regulation role on the expression of CAMKⅡD genes.
