1.Effect of fluid resuscitation on hemodynamics and oxygen in severe trauma patients
Clinical Medicine of China 2008;24(12):1272-1274
Objective To observe the effect of fluid resuscitation on hemodynamies and oxygen in severe trauma patients. Methods Parameters of hemodynamic and oxygen metabolism in different fluid volume resuscita-tion in 24 severe trauma patients who were injured on abdominal were measured. Results By fluid resuscitation, as the systolic blood pressure was raised from 80~90 mm Hg(1 mm Hg=0.133 kPa) to 100~120 mm Hg,cardiac in-dex rose from (2.0±0.5 ) L/(min·m2) to (3.2±0.6) L/(min·m2) (P<0.05), systemic vascular resistance index rose from (1857.6±750.2) dyn·s/(cm5·m2) to (3741.5±862.1) dyn·s,/(cm5·m2) significantly (P<0.05). Meanwhile, oxygen delivery index rose from (301.1±74.1) ml/(min·m2) to (554.1±80.0) mL/(min·m2) (P<0.05), and oxygen consumption index also rose (99.7±51.4) mL/( min·m2) to (147.2± 60.1) mL/(min·m2) remarkably (P<0.05), the rate of oxygen expenditure decreased from (33.1±9.1) % to (26.6±8.0) % significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion Large volume resuscitation maybe benefit to the improve-ment of hemodynamics and oxygen metabolism in the emergency resuscitation.

Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the status of clinical using of blood products in Shanghai area, clinicians' understanding on transfusion knowledge and consciousness of prevention of transfusion risk. Methods Two hundreds of clinicians who were randomly selected from level two and above hospitals of Shanghai were inquired by questionnaire.Data including understanding of transfusion techniques, prevention of transfusion risk, application of blood components and grasp of new techniques were collected and analyzed. Results Among all interviewed clinicians, those who realized the importance of transfusion on clinical work, who understood the basic contents of clinical guideline for transfusion issued by Ministry of Health People's Republic of China, and who had the basic knowledge of blood component products and transfusion applications account for 62%,60% and 81% respectively. But only 28% clinicians knew all the side effects,27.3% learned the new techniques of transfusion, including leukocyte reduced, virus elimination, clinical application of irradiation. This investigation also showed 97% clinicians would like to accept training of transfusion,68% thought they need more relevant information about prevention of transfusion risk. Conclusions Clinicians in Shanghai area had the basic knowledge of clinical guideline for transfusion, but some knowledge of transfusion were insufficient including blood components and their applications, side effects and new techniques of transfusion.Clinicians in Shanghai had active response for being trained on knowledge of transfusion.

Mild cognitive impairment caused by craniocerebral trauma is the key points and difficulties in judicial authentication. This article has comparative analysis of each mode of event-related potential (classical Oddball, Eriksen flanker task and so on), which can provide a more objective method for such craniocerebral trauma cases in clinical forensic judicial authentication.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of the executive function and working memory in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and the relations between working memory and executive function and the effects of working memory on patient' s daily functioning. Methods Thirty patients with MCI and 30 healthy elderly subjects were tested with a wide neuropsychoingical battery of tests including those of executive function, working memory and other cognition domain tests.Executive function was evaluated by using the verbal fluency test (VFT), color trail test (CTT), digital span (DS).Results The results showed the presence of significant executive function and working memory impairment in MCI patients as compared with the healthy controls. The scores of executive function test in MCI patients were decreased significantly in CTT (130.8±58.2 vs 52.0±13.5), CTT-B (210.2±81.8 vs 121.0±33.4),DS (3.4±0.9 vs 4.2±1.1), VFT (8.9±5.4 vs 16.4±5.4) and visuo-objective working memory (0.73±0.12 vs 0.85±9.18) respectively (t = 7.108, 5.159,-2.544,-4.879, and-4.351, all P <0.01 or P < 0.05) .In the stepwise liner regression analysis objective working memory test made a significant independent contribution to ADL (β =-0.720, t =-3.571, P < 0.01).Conclusion The patients with MCI have the deficit in executive function and working memory.Visuo-objective working memory is closely correlated with general cognitive function such as daily function, resulting in daily function decline.

8. Application and modern research on fresh herbs of Chinese materia medica
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2015;46(20):3125-3130
Fresh herbs, whose clinical application has been throughout the entire process of the origin and development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), are with the characteristics of treatment by Chinese materia medica (CMM). Fresh herbs are mainly used during the treatment of febrile disease. Compared with dry herbs, some fresh herbs have better and quicker effect on curing disease, at the same time, it is more meaningful in the treatment of febrile disease. However, the fact that current study on the material basis of fresh herbs is insufficient makes the failure about reasonably designing fresh herbs preparations, so that people can not provide the bases and guidances for the reform of dosage form. Through historical research about the application of fresh herbs, this paper describes the current situation about fresh herbs at home and abroad in recent years, in order to provide a scientific basis for the rational exploitation of fresh herbs resources.
9. Effect of Bmal1 expression on radiotherapy sensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma xenograft
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2020;47(1):12-17
Objective: To explore the effects of up- and down-regulation of circadian clock gene Bmal1 on the growth and radiation sensitivity of nasopharyngeal carcinoma after CNE1 xenograft in nude mice. Methods: We produced four groups of cells using lentiviral transfection: cells overexpressing CNE1 (CNE1OE), negative control in which there was no overexpression of CNE1 (OENC), cells with short hairpin RNAi (CNE1sh3), and RNAi negative cells (CNE1shNC). We investigated the expression of Bmal1 protein in the aforementioned groups with Western blot. After subcutaneously injecting the four groups of cells in nude mice, the size of the xenograft was measured. Subsequently, the xenografts were irradiated with 15 Gy at 6 MeV, and variation in the xenograft volume was recorded. mRNA and protein expression levels of Bmal1, p53, and p21 in the xenograft were measured with RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. Results: The CNE1OE group highly expressed Bmal1 protein whereas the CNE1sh3 group was silenced by RNAi as shown with the Western blot, indicating successful transfection. The xenograft in the nude mice developed well. The CNE1OE xenograft volume was lower than that of the CNE1OENC xenograft, whereas the CNE1sh3 xenograft was larger than the CNE1shNC xenograft (P<0.05). CNE1OE, CNE1OENC, and CNE1shNC xenograft volumes shrank after being irradiated (t=4.32, 5.38, 5.16, respectively; P<0.05) and the effect was the highest in the CNE1OE group. However, there was almost no variation in xenograft volume in the CNE1sh3 group. The relative amounts of mRNA and protein of Bmal1, P53, and P21 were higher in the CNE1OE group than in the CNE1OENC group, while they were lower in the CNE1sh3 group compared to the CNE1shNC group (P<0.05). Conclusions: Overexpression of Bmal1 inhibited the growth of the CNE1 xenograft in nude mice and enhanced its radiation sensitivity whereas silencing the Bmal1 gene by RNAi promoted the growth of the xenograft and led to radiation resistance. We believe that Bmal1 overexpression leads to P53 and P21 overexpression, thereby inhibiting the growth of the xenograft.
