1.Treatment of 64 Cases of Bradymenorrhea Due to Implantation of Intrauterine Contraceptive Device with Bushen Quyu Decoction

ObjectiveTo observe the curative effect of treating bradymenorrhea due to implantation of intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) with Busben Quyu Decoction. MethodsCompare the curative effects between two groups. One group is treatment group with 64 bradymenorrbea patients treated by Bushen Quyu Decoction for 3 months, and the other group is control group with 27 bradymenorrhea patients treated by Gongxuning tablet taken orally. Results There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in terms of curative effects. (P<0.05). Conclusion Busben Quyu Decoction has good effect in treating bradymenorrhea caused by placement of IUD.
2.Catalysis of Co-Cu/ SiO_2 in Oxidative Degradation of Sodium Percarbonate for o-nitrochlorobenzene

Objective To investigate the catalysis of Co - Cu /SiO2 in oxidation of sodium percarbonate (SPC ) for o-nitrochlorobenzene. Methods The solution of o-nitrochlorobenzene was prepared, acetic acid was used to adjust acidity, sodium percarbonate was applied as the oxidant, the self-prepared Co-Cu/SiO2 was used as the catalyzer to catalyze the degradation reaction of o-nitrochlorobenzene and the effect of reaction condition on degradation was researched. Results In the condition of loading amount of metal was 5%, nCo:nCu= 4:1,nCo-Cu=1.90?10-3mol,nSPC=6.36?10-3 mol,cOCNB=50 mg/L and t=80 ℃,pH=4,the degradation efficiency of o-nitrochlorobenzen could reach 92% . Conclusion Co-Cu/SiO2 is efficient in catalyzing the oxidative degradation of sodium percarbonate for o-nitrochlorobenzene and is applicable to the waste water treatment for eliminating o-nitrochlorobenzene
3. Analyses of infection after liver transplantation in 113 patients

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the prevalence of bacterial infection and drug sensitivity after liver transplantation so as to provide reference to effective clinical therapy. METHODS: A retrospective survey of 113 patients who underwent orthotopic liver transplantation was carried out. RESULTS: The reported total incidence of bacterial infection after liver transplantation was 45.1%, while the verified incidence was 28.3%. The major bacterials were Klebsiella pneumoniae and Enterococcus faecom. Multidrug-resistant was observed. CONCLUSION: It is very important to prevent bacterial infection and use antibiotic rationaly. Selection of effective antibiotics according to etiologic data and resistance of bacterial can help prevent the occurance of drug resistant strains.
4.Research on current obstetric beds allocation at medical institutions in China

Objective To learn the current obstetric beds allocation,obstetric service delivery and access in midwifery institutions at various levels in the localities and nationwide as well as the trends,and assess the equity of obstetric beds allocation,for the purpose of recommending on a reasonable adjustment of obstetric beds allocation in these institutions.Methods Random sampling made in 44 cities in China for questionnaire survey on obstetric beds allocation,service delivery and utilization in 2008~2010 at all midwifery institutions in these cities.Interview of health administrators and medical workers at obstetric of midwifery institutions in 6 counties.Results Every thousand square kilometers in China average 5.9 midwifery institutions,and every thousand people average 0.24 obstetric beds.During 2008 ~ 2010,the number of beds and midwifery service delivery kept a growing trend while in townships obstetric service deliveries maintain a falling trend.The fairness index of maternity beds layout nationwide is 0.021283.Obstetric beds supply and demand ratio in different regions ranges among 0.97~ 1.41.The number of deliveries made in county level hospitals is 54.1%,but the beds in such hospitals account for but 48.1%.Conclusion The equity of obstetric beds allocation is good in terms of population layout.The quantity of obstetric beds meets the current needs nationwide,while the allocation of obstetric beds is less than reasonable among obstetric institutions of various levels in the country.The authors recommend a better control and adjustment of midwifery institutions layout,especially more such hospitals at the township level to meet the need of women delivery in hospital in remote areas.
5.Expression of human beta-defensin-3 in surrounding tissues of infected artificial prostheses

Objective To observe expression of human beta-defensin-3 (HBD-3) in tissues around the infected artificial prostheses and investigate its value in treatment and diagnosis of periprosthetic joint infection (PJI).Methods According to clinical diagnosis,periprosthetic tissues and normal synovial membrane excised in operation were collected and divided into the following four groups:PJI group (n =13),aseptic loosening group (loosening group,n =9),spacer treatment group (treatment group,n =12),and normal group (n =15).HE staining was used to observe infiltration of inflammatory cells.Immunofluorescence staining was used to detect positive cells number and fluorescence intensity.Image-pro plus (IPP) 7.0C software was used to measure the average value of absorbance.Preoperative peripheral white blood cell count,erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),and C-reactive protein (CRP) results were documented.Then,differences of those parameters were analyzed and compared among groups.Results HE staining revealed that all groups had different degree of inflammatory cell infiltration except for normal group.Immunofluorescence staining revealed that the most number of positive cells and highest fluorescence intensity existed in PJI group.Value of absorbance in PJI group was 0.430 ± 0.013,followed by 0.308 ±0.005 in loosening group,0.234 ± 0.009 in treatment group,and 0.089 ± 0.019 in normal group.Preoperative peripheral white blood cell count,ESR and CRP were the highest in PFI group,but were not significantly different among the remaining three groups.Conclusion HBD-3 is highly expressed in tissues around the prostheses which had infection or aseptic loosening,but its expression in response to infection and loosening has difference.
6.Ocular clinical characteristics and treatment of latent syphilis with posterior uveitis as the initial symptom

Background In patients with syphilis,one of the common manifestations is uveitis.However,the lack of understanding on syphilic posterior uveitis may result in misdiagnosis and delayed treatment.Objective This study was to assess ocular clinical features,treatment and prognosis in patients who had latent syphilis and presented with posterior uveitis as the initial symptom.Methods A serial cases-observational study was designed.Twelve patients(19 eyes)who were diagnosed as syphilis from September 2011 to January 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were characterized by initial posterior uveitis before the final diagnosis.The clinical manifestation,management and prognosis were evaluated and analyzed.All patients were informed of this study and consented with the use of their data for this retrospective study.Results The patients presented with initial clinical signs of acute or chronic posterior uveitis and lacked systemic syphilis symptom.Bilateral posterior uveitis were found in 7 patients and unilateral in 5 patients.The dust-like and grey-white opacification in vitreous was seen by threemirror contact lens in all the patients.Mild hyperemia of the optical disc was found in 10 eyes with the unclear peripapillary boundary.Yellow-white lesions were observed in retinas of 7 eyes and retinal punctuate hemorrhage was in 1 eye.Fundus fluorescein angiography demonstrated fluorescine staining or hyperfluorescence of optic disc in all of the 19 eyes,and fluorescein leakage from vein in 18 eyes,retinal pigment epithelium dye pooling in 6 eyes and cystoid macular edema in 11 eyes.Rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test and treponema pallidum hemagglutination assay (TPHA) were performed and presented positive results in all patients.The visual acuity improved in 19 eyes and partly elevated in 2 eyes following a standard therapy for neurosyphilis was used,including penicillin and/or small doses of glucocorticoid.Conclusions The serological examination for syphilis should be considered for patients with unexplained uveitis.Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are important for the improvement of prognosis in syphilitic posterior uveitis.
7.Design of Chock-vault Antenna for Injurious Interventional Thermotherapy

Objective To design a chock-vault antenna for injurious interventional thermotherapy and to evaluate antenna performance change when structure parameters of the antenna are adjusted. Methods Finite element method was used to simulate the distributions of the reflection coefficient and the specific absorption rate (SAR) of the chock-vault antenna of different structure parameters for microwave thermotherapy human muscle tissue model when it worked at 2 450 MHz. The chock-vault antenna for injurious interventional thermotherapy had been optimized. Results This antenna was made.And the reflection coefficient and SAR were measured with human muscle tissue model experiment. The simulation results were validated. Conclusion The SAR distribution of the improved choke-vault antenna does not depend on depth of the insertion tissue. The reflection coefficient can be reduced greatly. The top energy distribution is reasonable.
