Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Myeloid differentiation protein-2(MD-2)can separately and simultaneously bind lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)has been shown to play critical roles in mediated recognition responses to LPS by TLR4 and signal transduction induced by LPS.MD-2 can be bound by LPS,not TLR4.The cells have no responsiveness or weak responsiveness to LPS without MD-2.MD-2 can be secreted into blood plasma, formed soluble MD-2 and remotely regulated cells that contained TLR4 without MD-2.MD-2 has been shown to play important roles in endotoxin signal transduction.MD-2 is a small molecular, short nucleic acid fragment, easily regulated should become a new potential anti-inflammatory target.

Objective To investigate the impact of alterations within the space of Disse micro- environment on the migration of hepatic stellate cells(HSC) during the process of liver fibrosis, and to ex plore the novel mechanism of liver fibrosis from the view of cell migration. Methods A modified in vitro Boyden chamber system to partially mimic in vivo microenvironment of Disse space of normal and liver fibrosis was employed. The effects of fibrogenetic growth factors on the migration of HSC in liver fibrosis were observed via cell migration and cell proliferation experiments. Results Enhanced platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)-BB,transforming growth factor(TGF)-?1 and/or epithelial growth factor(EGF) in liver fibrosis resulted in an increase in migratory capacity of activated HSC.The enhanced migration of HSCs induced by PDGF-BB was partially associated with their increased proliferation,while,TGF-?1 or EGF-induced migration was proliferation independent. The elevation of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) or vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)during liver fibrosis had no effect on the migration of HSCs.Conclusions The study provides valuable insights into the role of space of Disse microenvironment in regulating HSC migratory behavior.TGF-?1,PDGF-BB and EGF,which increased in liver fibrosis, could induce the migration of activated HSC.However,bFGF or VEGF has no such kind of effect,al- though they also increased during liver fibrosis.

ABSTRACT:Objective To investigate the regulation of adenovirus type 36 infection on precursor protein particles progranulin expression in Uygur obese patients. Methods Based on the diagnostic criteria of obesity, the samples were divided into obese group and non-obese group.Serum neutralization test was used to detect the antibody of Ad36.The progranulin mRNA expressions in abdominal omental and subcutaneous adipose tissues were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.ELISA method was used to determine serum progranulin protein levels. CD68 protein expression of macrophage was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results ① In the Uygur population of our study, compared with that in the non-obese group (38/1 1 7,32.5%),the number of obese patients (54/1 1 5,47.0%)infected with Ad36 was significantly higher than that in non-obese group (P <0.05 ).② Serum progranulin was significantly increased in the Ad36-infected obese group (408.45±1 56.92)than in non-obese group (326.1 1±1 58.60)(P <0.05).The mRNA expression of progranulin did not differ between the two groups.③ The macrophage infiltration was significantly higher in the Ad36-infected obese group (14 730.1 6 ± 2 227.39 )than in non-obese group (10 786.50 ± 2 772.80 )(P < 0.05 ).Conclusion Ad36 infection may be associated with the occurrence of obesity in Uygur population, and adenovirus type 36 infection may regulate the expression of serum progranulin at the protein level.

Objective To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of the patients with lung cancer hospital-ized in affiliated hospital of Hainan Medical College. Methods A retrospective study was performed from January 1st 2005 to December 31th 2009 in the Hospital.201 patients were enrolled in this study. Results The average onset age of patients with lung cancer was 66 years old.No difference in different gender. The incidence of male was 72.1%, which was higher than of female(27.9%).Male to female ratio was 2.6:1.70.3% of male patients with lung cancer had a history of smoking.146 cases(72.6%)were diagnosed by clinical data, only 55 cases(27.4%)were diagnosed by histopathology.134 cases(66.7%)hadn′t indications for surgery.only 17 cases(25.4%)agreed to have surgery among 67 cases (33.3%)with indications for surgery,50 cases(74.6%)didn't agree to have surgery.34 cases (16.9%)had no indications for chemotherapy.40 cases(24.0%)agreed to have chemotherapy among 167 cases (83.1%)with indications for chemotherapy, but only 14 cases(35.0%)had completed 4 to 6 cycles of chemotherapy, and 26 cases(65.0%)hadn't completed 4 to 6 cycles.8 cases(4.0%)agreed to have radiotherapy.3 cases(1.5%) agreed to have targeted therapy.3 cases (1.5%)transfered to other hospital. Conclusion The ratio of lung cancer patients in male is higher than female in the hospital.smoking is closely related to male patients.Clinical diagnosis rate of patients is high, whereas histopathologic diagnosis rate is low.The rate of the intervention that patients accepted is low and many patients give up available management after the diagnosis is made.

Objective To integrate nurses' humanistic quality into professional nursing training, in order to improve humanistic quality and nursing quality. Methods Nurses with working years within 6 years in our hospital were chosen from May, 2009 to May, 2010. And through non-professional reading, specified materials reading, multimedia lectures, particularly the refining and essence of reading reports, humanities knowledge and humanistic care consciousness was melted into personal morality, words, deeds and cultivation. Investigation about satisfaction degree was carried out among patients before and after the training. Results Satisfaction degree of patients increased after training, so did the satisfaction degree of nurses to reading reports. Conclusions To integrate nurses' humanistic quality into professional nursing training can improve humanistic quality of nurses and nursing quality. Nurses' professional image will be increasingly standard, overall quality and service quality can be improved, and thought of dedicated service for patients will be consolidated.
