1.GENE EXPRESSION OF KIFs IN CORTEX OF RATS INJECTED WITH ?-AMYLOID INTO BRAIN VENTRICLE
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1953;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the effect of amyloid on the expression of kinesin superfamily(KIFs) genes in cortex of Wistar rats. Methods The animal model of Alzheimer's disease was prepared by injection of amyloid into brain ventricle of rats. The learning impairments were verified by water maze test. The levels of mRNA for six kinesin superfamily genes,kinesin,KIFlb,KIFlc,KIF3a,KIF3c,and KIF4,in cortex of rats, were estimated by real-time RT-PCR. Results Two weeks after amyloid injection, the rats showed significant learning impairments. In cortex, the expression of KIF genes was increased after amyloid injection.Conclusion\ The increase of KIF gene may be an evidence for the excitotoxity of amyloid to neurons.
2.Focus on the clinical microbiology laboratory construction and development
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2013;36(7):577-579
The development of clinical microbiology laboratory is an essential part in promoting the development of clinical microbiology and the basis rational use of antimicrobial agents.Under the circumstances of national specific rectification of antimicrobials, clinical microbiology laboratory should focus on self-buildup and improvement. The development of clinical microbiology laboratory should focus on development of both software and hardware capabilities for lab examination and diagnosis in an all-round way, enhance the antimicrobial susceptibility surveillance, and emphasize and communication and cooperation between laboratory and other departments e.g.clinical departments, pharmacy department and nosocomial surveillance and control office, making concept translation from past ‘paramedical department' to a ‘platform department',contribute its due share to the rational uses of antimicrobial agents.

Objectives To provide outline for the Research & Development department of hospitals making research strategy by analyzing the quantity of publications and their cited status for the top 20 hospitals in SCI and MEDLINE, and the top 100 hospitals in domestic publications in 2008. Methods The number of publications and their cited times for the first 20 hospitals in SCI and MEDLINE, and the top 100hospitals in domestic publications in 2008 were analyzed with bibliometric analysis. Results Compared with 2007, the increased number and ratio of publications in SCI and MEDLINE for the top 20 hospitals were 1050, 51.19% and 658, 15.04%, respectively; for top 100 hospitals, the average decreased number of domestic publications was 2.08, and the number of cited publications was increased 202.52 and the increased ratio was 13.51%. Conclusions The SCI publications from top 20 hospitals increase sharply, the increase of the MEDLINE articles from the top 20 hospitals is slowly. The negative growth is showed in the number of domestic articles for the top 100 hospitals. In addition, the increase of cited articles is slowly and disproportion.
6.Expression and significance of regulatory genes of cell apoptosis in esophageal cancellation course
Cancer Research and Clinic 2010;22(7):473-475
Objective To explore the expression of cell apoptosis regulatory elements in esophageal canceration course. Methods 60 specimens of esophageal carcinoma and corresponding adjacent no cancerous tissue were detected quantitatively by propidium iodide(PI) stain and indirect immunofluorescence of fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC) using flow cytometry(FCM) equipment. Results Expression of bcl-2 and c-FLIP in esophageal carcinoma was significantly higher, and Fadd, Caspase-8 and Caspase-3 were significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues (P <0.01). There was positive correlation between Fadd and Caspase-8 gene (P <0.01 or P <0.05). The expression of Fadd was positively correlated to Caspase-8. Comparing with normal epithelium and dysplasia tissue, DNA content and heteroploid cells were increased significantly in esophageal carcinoma. Conclusion During the esophageal canceration course, expressions of relevant cell apoptosis regulatory elements were abnormal. DNA content and heteroploid cells were increased significantly in esophageal carcinoma.

There were 295 (24.96%) papers from 67 (8.19%) core authors. 601 (50.85%) papers were from 20 high-productivity institutes. The top three high-productivity institutes were Tianjin hospital, Beijing Jishuitan hospital and Nanjing Drum Tower hospital of Nanjing University Medical School. The number of papers were 89 (7.53%), 75 (6.35%) and 43 (3.64%), respectively. The number of papers from the teaching hospital, provincial or municipal hospitals, military hospitals were 722 (61.08%), 226 (19.12%) and 157 (13.28%),respectively. According to the distribution of Province, Beijing was the first of place with 264 (22.34%) papers, followed by Shanghai by 160 (13.54%) papers and Tianjin by 136 (11.51%) papers. The distribution range of the authors has been expanded to five countries. Conclusion The influence of the Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics has greatly increased. Authors of the Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics have a highly cooperative rate. There is a group of active and talented core authors who has a great influence on the journal. But the number of core authors and the papers published by core authors need to be expanded.

A total of 587 keywords expressing the health information needs of diabetics were selected from diabetes-related 8762 questions covered in Yahoo Q and A, coded according to the cataloguing system and classification strategies of diabetes information, processed by text formatting, and clustered by multi-dimensional analysis, which showed that the most concerned health information in diabetics is the daily management, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes while rare attention is paid to its prevention.
10.Effect of basic fibroblast growth factor through silicon tube on denervated skeletal muscle
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(19):-
BACKGROUND: The denervated skeletal muscle is chiefly characteristic as the loss of neurotrophic factor, which may cause the muscle atrophy degeneration and fibrosis. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect on the muscle satellite cells and muscle atrophy by the implantation of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) released through silicon tube in the gastrocnemius. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: Randomly control animal experiment was finished at the Animal Experiment Laboratory of Shenyang Medical College Fengtian Hospital in November 2006. MATERIALS: Twenty-eight Wistar healthy male rats (weighing 250-300 g) were adopted. Silicon tube was prepared by the encapsulation with bFGF or physiological saline, and sealed with 502 glue. METHODS: The sciatic nerve of left lower limb was cut off, and then gastrocnemius was taken out. All of 28 Wistar rats were divided into experiment group and control group randomly, each group involved 14 rats. The experimental gastrocnemius was encapsulated with silicon tube containing bFGF, while the control group with physiological saline. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: At day 30 postoperatively, the following indicators were evaluated: wet weight of gastrocnemius and wave amplitude of muscle fibrillation potential; proliferating cell nuclear antigen positive nuclei on surface of muscle fibers, diameter and section area of gastrocnemius fiber under light microscope; ultrastructure of gastrocnemius under electron microscope. RESULTS: The number of muscle satellite cell nuclei in the experimental group was more than that in the control group (P
