correct selection of cases, detailed explanation, observation during application, maintain the moisture of Qi-Tou-Xiao-Gu stick, emotional regulation, and cross infection prevention. Good nursing care can improve patients' com-fort degree and satisfaction to the treatment. It can also effectively relieve abdominal distention and reduce ad-verse reactions.

3.Comparison on Criteria of Impairment Evaluation about Eye Injury

Objective To compare and investigate the criteria of impairment evaluation about eye injury.MethodsThe distill items, contents of these items and excursus of three criteria, Assessment and Gradation of Disability Caused by Work-related Injuries and Occupational Diseases (AGDCWIOD), Assessment for Body Impairment of the Injured in Road Traffic Accident (ABIIRTA) and Assessment and Gradation of Impairment Caused by Trauma (AGICT), commonly used in justice practice at present were compared.ResultsThere were essential differences among three criteria. AGDCWIOD was loose, ABIIRTA and AGICT were strict. AGDCWIOD and AGICT were religious, ABOIIRTA was oversight and non-religious. At the same time, there were differences between domestic and international criteria, and domestic criteria were behind the times.ConclusionThere are many problems in the criteria of impairment evaluation about eye injury; related items need recension and consummation.
4.Determination of Monoamine Neurotransmitters and Related Compounds in Microdialysis Solution by High Performace Liquid Chromatography with Pulsed Amperometric Detection

A method for determinattion of monoamine neurotransmitters and related compounds in microdialysis solution by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with pulsed amperometric detection was described. A comparison of response of iso potential anperometric (AD) and pulsed amperometric detection (PAD) was made. The results indicated that the sensitivity of PAD was 1.2 fold that of AD. The quantitative determination of monoamine neurotransmitters and related compounds was carried out with 3,4-dihydroxybenzylamine (DHBA) as internal standerd. The recoveries of monoamine neurotransmitters in microdialysis solution are 71% ~ 101%.
5.Expression Level of Sphingosine Kinase 1 and Nuclear Factor-κB p65 in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Their Relationship with Tumor Prognosis

Objective To investigate expression level of sphingosine kinase 1 (SPHK1) and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their relationships with invasion, metastasis and prognosis of NSCLC. Meth-ods Ninety-three NSCLC specimens and paraneoplastic normal lung tissue from conventional surgery were confirmed by histology. Expression of SPHK1 and NF-κB were detected by Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections. Primary antibody were Rabbit Anti-Human SPHK1 and Rabbit Anti-Human NF-κB p65, which were incubated 1 hour in water bath. The secondary antibody was HRP-Polymer anti Mouse IgG, which was incubated 20 minutes in water bath. Results SPHK1 ex-pression was positive in 96.8% (90/93) of NSCLC specimen which is higher than in paraneoplastic normal lung tissue in which the positive rate is 18.3%(17/93);NF-κB expression was positive in 89.2%(83/93) NSCLC which is higher than the in paraneoplastic normal lung tissue in which the positive rate is 12.9%(12/93). The expression of SPHK1 and NF-κB in NSCLC was positively correlated (r=0.464, P<0.01). TThe expression levels of SPHK1 and NF-κB p65 in NSCLC patients with were positively related to TNM staging and lymph node metastasis. SPHK1 expression and NF-κB p65 expression lev-el were higher in the deads than in survivals. There was no statistical significance in different expression intensity of SPHK 1 and NF-κB p65 in patients with NSCLC who had differences in gender, age, tumor size, tumor location, histological type. Survival analysis showed that survival time of patients of NSCLC with high expression of SPHK1 was shorter than those in the group with low SPHK1 expression, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=14.025, P < 0.01). Conclusion In the process of NSCLC invasion and metastasis,SPHK1 may play an important role through NF-κB, and it can predict prognosis of NSCLC patient. Moreover, it will become a potential target for NSCLC target.
6.Effect of Air Pollution on Serum Oxidative Stress Indices in Traffic Policemen

Objective To explore the effect of air pollution on oxidative stress indices(SOD,GSH-Px,MDA) in serum of traffic policemen. Methods From Jun to Aug,2007,sixty-two traffic policemen and thirty-five male suburban inhabitants were selected. The ambient concentrations of PM2.5,polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) ,nitrogen dioxide,formaldehyde,benzene and toluene were monitored within two consecutive days in the work places of traffic policemen and in the residential areas of suburban inhabitants to assess their air pollution exposure levels. The activity of SOD,GSH-Px and the concentration of MDA in serum were determined with regent kits,while the information on smoking,drinking alcohol,exercising habit and so on was investigated by questionnaire. Results There were significant differences in the concentrations of nitrogen dioxide,formaldehyde,benzene and toluene between the two study groups. The average levels of PM2.5 and PAHs in the traffic policeman group were also higher than those in the control group,but this difference was not significant for small sample size. The activities of SOD and GSH-Px in the traffic policeman group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the difference of MDA concentration between the two groups was not significant. The relationship between air pollution and the activity of SOD and GSH-Px were also significant after controlling the influence of other factors. Conclusion Air pollution can decrease the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in serum of traffic policemen and induce oxidative stress.
9.Analysis on detecting primary open angle glaucoma based on retinal nerve fiber layer and ganglion cell complex thickness

AIM:To investigate the peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer ( RNFL ) thickness and the macular ganglion cell complex ( GCC ) thickness in primary open angle glaucoma ( POAG ) eyes and to compare them with normal control eyes, and to evaluate the diagnostic ability of peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness in POAG.
●METHODS:This was a cross-sectional study consisting of 56 POAG patients. The control group consisted of 60 normal subjects (60 eyes) were matched in terms of age, sex, diopter and axial length. The peripapillary RNFL thickness and the macular GCC thickness of POAG eyes and normal control eyes were measured and compared by RTVue-100 optical coherence tomography ( OCT ) . To assess the diagnostic utility of peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness in POAG, receiver operating characteristic curves ( ROC ) and areas under the ROC ( AUC) were used.
●RESULTS:The POAG eyes had a thinner peripapillary RNFL and macular GCC than the control eyes at all the regions ( P < 0. 001 ). Multivariable linear regression analysis showed that the peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness was significantly thinner in association with the POAG diagnosis. ROC and AUC analysis showed that the best AUC parameters were C/D (AUC=0. 936; 95% Cl=0. 903, 0. 964) and superior RNFL thickness (AUC=0. 910;95% Cl=0. 889, 9. 455). The AUC of nasal RNFL thickness, inferior RNFL thickness, temporal RNFL thickness, superior GCC thickness, inferior GCC thickness, and average GCC thickness were all above 0. 8 with a good diagnostic value.
●CONCLUSION:The peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness in POAG eyes are thinner than that of normal control eyes. Decreased peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness may be associated with POAG. The peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCC thickness have a good diagnostic value.
10.Expression of COX-2,Ki-67 and VEGF in bladder transitional epithelial cancers and their significance

Objective To study COX-2 expression in bladder transitional cell carcinoma in order to explore the relationship between the immunohistochemical staining and biological behavior of bladder cancer. Methods The expression of COX-2,Ki-67,and VEGF was examined in 50 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma and 10 normal bladder mucosa by means of immunohistochemical technique.Results The expression of COX-2 in BTCCs was higher than that in normal bladder mucosa.The positive rate of COX-2 was 80% in BTCCs while it was not detected in normal bladder mucosa.COX-2 was highly positively related to the grade,stage and prognosis of tumors.The expression of COX-2 in poorly differentiated,invasive or re- curring BTCCs was higher than that in well differentiated superficial or nonrecurring ones.But there was not significant difference between the solitary tumour and multiple ones.There were positive correlation both be- tween COX-2 and Ki-67 and between COX-2 and VEGF.Conclusion The high expression of COX-2 may benefit increase in bladder cancer cell proliferative activity.VEGF expression in COX-2 positive tumor was significantly higher than that in COX-2 negative tumor.
