1.Effects of hypoxia on apoptosis of human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cell line by adriamycin
China Oncology 2001;0(02):-
Background and purpose:Hypoxic cells in tumors are of chemoresistant and anti-apoptoic.Our study was focused on the effects of hypoxia on expression of P-glycoprotein(P-gp) and cell apoptosis in human lung adenocarcinoma A549 cell line(wtP53),in order to explore the probable mechanism of hypoxia in apoptic tumor cells.Methods:A549 cell line(human lung adenocarcinoma) was cultured under hypoxic atmosphere(2% O_2) for 24 h,the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1?、P-gp and P53 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry, after cells under hypoxic atmosphere were exposed to Adriamycin for 24 h,the cell survival rate was detected by MTT,and apoptosis of by flow cytometer.Results:① The expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1?、P-gp and P53 protein in hypoxic cells were higher than the expression in anoxia ,and correlation between the expression of HIF-1? and P-gp or P53 protein was observed(P
2.Advance in Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Spastic Paralysis After Stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(9):791-792
In the past, treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion always were emphasized on improving the strength of muscle. In fact, spasticity is the key point. This paper summarized recent studies on therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on spastic paralysis after stroke.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(08):-
Objective To explore the adverse effects of formaldehyde(FA)on learning and memory ability of mice and the antagonistic effect of N-acetyl-cysteine(NAC),an antioxidant. Methods Thirty-four ICR mice were randomly divided into four groups, the control(NS,n=8),treated with FA(15 mg/kg,n=9),treated with NAC(100 mg/kg,n=8),treated with FA(15 mg/kg) plus NAC(100 mg/kg,n=9),the treatment was conducted by intraperitoneal injection once a day for seven consecutive days.On the eighth day,the learning and memory ability were tested by using water labyrinth task for seven consecutive days. Results The mice in FA group behaved excited, restless and then turned to repose, moveless and clustering, but this phenomena was not seen in the other groups. There was no significant difference in the body weight of mice among groups. As for learning, latent period in the FA group [(27.15?2.66)s] was significantly longer than that in the control group [(15.83?2.82)s] and the FA+ NAC group[(14.98?2.66)s],and revealed statistical significance(P

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2003;0(11):-
Objective To explore the management alternatives to tr aumatic periprosthetic femoral fractures after hip replacement. Metho ds A retrospective analysis was done on five cases of traumatic perip rosthetic femoral fractures posterior to hip replacement admitted in from June 1 998 to June 2003. There were two males and three females, with age range of 52- 71 years (average 59 years). One case suffered from traffic accident and the oth er four from slipping. Three cases had received hip replacement for femoral head aseptic necrosis, the other two for femoral neck non-union. Total hip replacem ent was carried out in four cases (five hips) and femoral head replacement in on e. These traumatic periprosthetic fractures occurred from one month to 17 years after hip replacement. According to classification to periprosthetic fracture of Vancouver (1995), there were 3 cases of type B and 2 type C. Two cases (one cas e of type B and one type C) were treated with traction and conservative treatmen ts, two (type B) with long shaft prosthesis revision combined with shape memory saw tooth embracing fixator or wires and one (type C) with anatomical plate inte rnal fixation. Results All 5 cases were followed up for f rom two months to five years and attained fracture union with no complications s uch as infection, nonunion or fixation breakage. Conclusions Traumatic periprosthetic femoral fractures after hip replacement are hard to deal with. The management alternatives differ according to fracture site, prost hesis loosening, bone quality and general status of patients. Classification cri teria and corresponding managements of periprosthetic fractures of Vancouver are proved to be suitable guidelines.

China Oncology 2006;0(07):-
Background and purpose:HIF-1?、HER-2 and survivin are all considered as important prognostic factors of breast cancer, but the relationships among them are poorly understood. We investigated the expression of HIF-1?、HER-2 and survivin in Breast Carcinoma, and explored the relationship among the three prognostic factors. Methods:The expressions of HIF-1?、HER-2 and survivin were detected by immunohistochemistry in 51 human Breast Carcinoma samples.Results:① 28(54.88%),11(21.69%) and 35(68.62%) were positive for HIF-1?、HER-2 and survivin,respectively.② A significant difference was found in terms of the overexpression of HER-2 between the samples with HIF-1? either positive or negatiwe(P0.05).Conclusions:The positive expression of HIF-1? was strongly correlated with the overexpression of HER-2,but not survivin in breast carcinoma.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To analyse the dynamic changes of cardiac diseases over the past 30 years. Method All hospitalized patients of internal medicine department over the past 30 years in the 2nd Xiangya Hospital of Central South University were analyzed in order to understand the dynamic changes of cardiac diseases. Results The results showed the proportion of the heart diseases to all medical diseases was gradually increased during the past three decades. The constitution ratio of the classification of the heart disease was also changing continuously and progressively, with coronary heart disease ranking the first and, in contrast, rheumatic heart disease the second since 1980s. Meanwhile, the number and the proportion of the patients with cardiomyopathy and arrhythmias of unknown causes were increased. Anemic heart disease and cardiovascular syphilis had been wiped out since 1980s and 1990s respectively. Conclusion Classification of cardiac diseases changes gradually and continually during the past 30 years.
