Objective To explore the promoting effects of bio-polymer composite film as a micro-skin auto-graft covering on wound healing. Methods The full thickness skin defect models were made on both sides of 30 experimental rabbits. Then, the rabbits were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. In the for-mer group, the side was covered with chitosan/glucomannan composite membrane and in the latter, the side cov-ered with acelluar porcine skin after micro-skin autograft. We obtained wound tissues at week 1 , 2, 3, 4 and 5 af-ter operation. The conditions of wound healing were observed, the rate of wound healing was calculated, HE stain-ing was made, and PCNA and CD31 were detected by immunohistochemistry. Results (1) During 2~4 weeks af-ter operation, the rate of wound healing in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control wound (P<0.01). (2) The amount of neutrophil in experimental group was less than that of the control after oper-ation. (3) During 1 ~ 2 weeks after operation, the expression of PCNA in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.01), but lower than the control wounds during 1 ~ 2 weeks after operation (P <0.01). (4) During 1 ~ 5 weeks after operation, the expression of CD31 in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion Chitosan/glucan-mannan composite membrane as a micro-skin autograft covering may promote wound healing.

Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture and Chinese mina manipulation therapy in treating knee osteoarthritis, and analyze the alteration of musculus quadriceps femoris strength. Methods: A total of 80 patients were randomly assigned to a treatment group receiving acupuncture combined Chinese tuina manipulation therapy (n=40) and a control group receiving Fenbid treatment (n=40), curative effective score, Lequene & Mery assessment tests, and isokinetic evaluation were recorded before and after the treatment course. Results: The total effective rate was 90.0 % in the treatment group and 87.5% in the control group, without a significant difference between the two groups. Lequene & Mery assessment tests had no significant change. Musculus quadriceps femoris isokinetic evaluation improved significantly after the treatment course in the two groups (P<0.05), and there was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with tuina manipulation therapy and Fenbid treatment both can reduce knee pain and joint disability in the short term, though no improvement was shown in the severity of the disease.Acupuncture combined with mina manipulation therapy is better than Fenbid in improving the strength, total work and explosive force of the musculus quadriceps femoris.

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of spine subtle adjusting manipulation for postpartum low back pain (PLBP). Methods: A total of 76 patients with PLBP were randomized into a control group and a treatment group, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with core muscle strengthening exercises, and the treatment group was treated with spine subtle adjusting manipulation. After 3 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy was observed, and the visual analog scale (VAS) score and Oswestry disability index (ODI), and the changes of lumbar Cobb angle and pelvic rotation were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.1%, and that of the control group was 78.9%. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS score and ODI in both groups decreased, and the intra-group differences were all statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no intra-group statistical differences in the lumbar Cobb angle or pelvic rotation in the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, there were no statistical differences in the lumbar Cobb angle or pelvic rotation between the two groups (P>0.05); the VAS score and ODI in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Spine subtle adjusting manipulation can effectively relieve the pain for patients with PLBP, and improve their daily activity function.

Objective:
To systematically evaluate the effectiveness of epidermal growth factor (EGF) in treating patients with inhalation injury by meta analysis.
Methods:
Databases including PubMed, Cochrance Library, and Embase were searched using key words " inhalation injury, smoke inhalation injury, epidermal growth factor, and EGF" , and Chinese Journals Full-text Database, China Biology Medicine disc, VIP Database, and Wanfang Database were searched using key words in Chinese version "吸入性损伤,表皮生长因子" to obtain the randomized controlled trails about EGF published publicly in the treatment of patients with inhalation injury from the establishment of each database to December 2017. The measurement indexes included content of total protein and albumin, colloid osmotic pressure (COP), the number of total cells, percentages of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and fibroblasts in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), the time of disappearance of pulmonary symptoms, the time of exfoliation of necrotic mucous membrane, the time of removal of tracheal tube, the amount of respiratory secretions, and the incidence of lung infection. Meta-analysis was conducted by RevMan 5.3 statistical software.
Results:
A total of 6 trials involving 375 patients were included, with 182 patients in group EGF who received EGF treatment and 173 patients in conventional treatment group who received conventional treatment. All of the 6 trails had unclear risk of bias. The content of total protein and albumin and COP in BALF of patients in group EGF were lower than those in conventional treatment group, with standardized mean differences (SMDs) respectively -9.37, -26.77 , and -8.13 [with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) respectively -14.11--4.63, -41.85--11.69, -9.54--6.73,

Objective:To observe the effect of Yi Jin Jing(Sinew-transforming Qigong Exercises)intervention on anxiety in asymptomatic patients with Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)infection during quarantine. Methods:A total of 160 asymptomatic patients with COVID-19 infection were stratified by gender and divided into an observation group and a control group by the stratified randomization method, with 80 cases in each group. The control group was given basic nursing in the cabin, and the observation group was given additional Yi Jin Jing exercises once a day,20 min each time, and trained continuously until 1 d before leaving the cabin. The Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)score was compared between the two groups. Results:A total of 154 cases were included for data analysis in this study, including 74 cases in the observation group and 80 cases in the control group. After intervention, the HAMA scores in both groups increased(P<0.05),while the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).In the control group, the HAMA score of females after intervention was higher than that of males. The scores of mental anxiety and somatic anxiety in both groups were higher than those before intervention, while the score of mental anxiety in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control(P<0.05).However,there was no statistical difference in the somatic score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Patients with COVID-19 infection will get anxious during quarantine.Yi Jin Jing exercise can effectively reduce the aggravation of anxiety in asymptomatic patients with COVID-19 infection during concentrated quarantine.
