Objective To explore the alteration of brain pain functional areas in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) overlap by rectal balloon volume stimulation and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and the differences with IBS alone patients and healthy individuals were compared.Methods A total of 11 IBS alone patients,16 IBS overlapped with FD patients (IBS-FD) and 10 healthy controls were recruited.Sensory thresholds and visual analogue scale (VAS) were recorded during the rectal balloon air injection process. The changes of brain activated areas were analyzed by functional MRI (fMRI) when the rectum was stimulated at the volume of 50,100 and 150 ml.The data were analyzed by least significant difference (LSD) test.Results Under rectal volumetric stimulation,the sensory thresholds of IBS-FD group and IBS alone group were (53.14 ± 16.05) ml and (59.20 ± 20.55) ml and the difference was not statistically significant (LSD test,P＞0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS score between IBS alone group and IBS-FD group (LSD test,P＞0.05).Rectal stimulated under different volume,the results of fMRI indicated the activation of anterior cingulated cortex, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex,postporietal cortex,thalamus and insular cortex in both IBS alone group and IBS-FD group.And there was no significant difference in activated areas and intensity between IBS alone group and IBS-FD group (LSD test,P＞0.05).Conclusions There was no significant difference in activations of brain areas between IBS alone and IBS-FD patients under rectal volumetric stimulation. Under rectal volumetric stimulation,although symptoms overlapped,there was no evidence of the overlap of braingut axis and visceral hypersensitivity between IBS alone and IBS-FD.

In order to explore the pathogenic characters,diagnosis and treatment of canine leptospirosis,a retrospective analysis of the pathogenetic factor,diagnosis and treatment of three dogs were reported which diagnosed as canine leptospirosis in China Agricultural University Teaching Animal Hospital from August to November,2015.The infected dogs showed symptoms of depressed,jaundice,anorexia and vomiting.Two of them had fever history and contacted the water resource outside before getting ill.All three dogs were confirmed anemia,liver and kidney damage by laboratory examination.They were diagnosed with canine leptospirosis according to the positive results of the Leptospira PCR examination base on urine.During the diagnosis and treatment process,one of them was dead,the rest two recovered after antibiotic and symptomatic therapy.In conclusion,dogs which infected with leptospirosis may have a contact with the infected water before.The Leptospira PCR examination base on urine can be used for the diagnosis method of the disease.As to treatment,the use of penicillin and tetracycline drugs such as doxycycline is recommended.

Puerarin (PUE), as an isoflavone component, has a wide range of pharmacological activities, while its poorly aqueous solubility limits the development of solid oral dosage forms. In this study, PUE along with nicotinamide (NIC) were prepared into the coamorphous system by solvent-evaporation method and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). In addition, its dissolution behavior and solubilization mechanism were also investigated. PUE-NIC coamorphous was a single homogeneous binary system, with a single glass transition temperature at 35.1 ℃. In comparison to crystalline PUE, during the dissolution process, coamorphous PUE-NIC not only exhibited the "liquid-liquid phase separation" (LLPS) phenomenon, but the formation of A_p type complexation (1∶1 and 1∶2) between PUE and NIC molecules was also verified, which significantly improved the solubility of PUE and prolonged the supersaturation time, and would benefit its absorption.

Objective To investigate whether the percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI)under sedation and analgesia can in-crease the energy deposition and curative efficiency of the high intensity focused ultrsound(HIFU)in treating unresectable middle and advanced stages of primary liver cancer.Methods Thirty-six cases of clinically diagnosed unresectable middle and advanced sta-ges of primary liver cancer were randomly divided into the PEI+ HIFU group(combination group,n = 23)and the simple HIFU group (HIFU group,n=13);10mL of the mixture of 99.7% ethanol and iodized oil (9:1)was given by intratumoral injection at 30 min before ablation in the PEI+HIFU group,while 0.9% physiological saline 10mL was replaced in the simple HIFU group.The ablation energy efficiency factor(EEF)and irradiation time were compared between the two groups.Results The ablation EEF in the PEI+HIFU group and the simple HIFU group were (13.82+4.26)J/mm3 and (25.63+6.31)J/mm3 respectively,the PEI+HIFU group was significantly lower than the simple HIFU group (P <0.05);the irradiation time were (1 468.28+253.21)s and (2 352.56+463.34)s respectively;which in the PEI+ HIFU group was significantly shortened (P <0.05).Conclusion PEI can enhance the HIFU ablation energy deposition and improve the efficiency of HIFU for treating unresectable primary liver cancer.

Objective To compare the initial stability between anterior transpedicular screw (ATPS) fixation,anterior plate (AP) fixation and combining anterior and posterior (CAP) fixation for subaxial cervical three-column injury.Methods Six specimens of cervical spine were prepared.After measurement of the range of motion (ROM) of the intact cervical spine,the specimens were made into models of three-column injury.After the models were simulatively reconstructed using an anterior cervical cage,they were stabilized by ATPS,AP and CAP.After the ROMs of the models in the 3 fixation states were measured,the data were normalized by standardizing them to the intact state ROM which was set at 100％.The normalized ROMs of the models in the 3 fixation states were compared.Results The normalized ROMs of AP fixation state in flexion,extension,lefi lateral bending,right lateral bending,left axial rotation and right axial rotation were 119.68±8.34％,119.63±6.74％,115.20±7.91％,117.47±7.81％,120.67±5.99％ and 112.35 ± 8.42％,respectively,significantly larger than those of the intact state (P ＜ 0.05).The normalized ROMs of the other 2 states in all directions were significantly smaller than those of the intact state (P ＜0.05).The normalized ROM of ATPS state in flexion was 87.48 ± 5.31％,significantly larger than that of CAP state (69.60 ± 2.06％) (P ＜ 0.05).There were no significant differences between the normalized ROMs of ATPS state and those of CAP state in extension (65.53 ± 4.36％ versus 67.17 ± 3.10％),in left lateral bending (82.13 ± 2.85％ versus 82.30 ±4.69％),in right lateral bending (81.78 ± 3.42％ versus 81.27 ± 2.79％),in left axial rotation (83.20 ± 2.30％ versus 82.95 ± 2.40％),or in right axial rotation (83.03 ± 1.30％ versus 83.60 ± 6.56％) (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions In subaxial cervical three-column injury,the initial stability of ATPS fixation may be superior to that of AP fixation and similar to that of CAP fixation.We believe that ATPS can provide enough initial stability for subaxial cervical three-column injury.

BACKGROUND:Animal experiments have demonstrated that transplanted bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs)in the myocardial infarction region can directionally differentiate into myocardial cells with normal physiological function and promote neovascularization. Clinical studies have also showed that the cardiac function can be improved in myocardial infarction and cardiomyopathy patients after stem cell transplantation.OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of autologous BMSCs transplantation on short-term cardiac function of patients with heart failure of ischemic cardiomyopathy.DESIGN: Self-control study.SETTING: Department of Cardiology, Xiangtan Central Hospital.PARTICIPANTS: Twenty-one patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy, including 13 males and 8 females, aged (64±6)years,who received treatment in the Department of Cardiology,Xiangtan Central Hospital of Hunan Province from March 2004 to January 2006 were retrieved. Inclusive criteria: with previous myocardial infarction at least once, B-mode ultrasonic cardiac examination showed that cardiac chamber was expanded, obvious cardiac inadequacy or stenocardia existed before stent implantation and hospitalized repeatedly, underwent percutaneous coronary artery intervention for restoring blood flow of infarcted vessel to TIMI3 degree over 3 months,but cardiac inadequacy existed to different degrees.Coronary arteriongraphy showed that no stenosis was found in the stent implanted in the coronary artery.Informed consents were obtained from all the patients.METHODS:After admission, all the patients received BMSCs transplantation based on routine drug treatment.Infarction-related arterial passage was established by percutaneous transluminal catheter technique and occluded by balloon.Isolated bone marrow stem cell suspension was injected into infarction-related arterial passage through the central cavity of catheter. ① Left ventricular ejection fractions (LVEF) and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVDd)were measured before and 6 months after transplantation.② 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram evaluation was conducted before and 6 months after transplantation under the precondition of not taking antiarrhythmic drugs. ③Clinical cardiac functional grading was conducted before and 6 months after transplantation by NYHA grading method: Grade Ⅰto Ⅳ: the higher grade, the severer symptom. ④ Adverse events and side effects were observed after operation.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:① LVEF and LVDd were measured before and 6 months after transplantation. ②24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram evaluation results. ③ Clinical cardiac functional grading evaluation results. ④ Post-operative adverse events and side effects.RESULTS:All the involved 21 patients participated in the result analysis.①The LVEF of patients 6 months after transplantation of BMSCs was more than that before transplantation [(54.4±6.2)％, (44.6±6.4)％,t = -5.946, P＜ 0.01], and LVDd of patients 6 months after transplantation was smaller than that before transplantation [(54.6±4.2), (60.2±4.4) mm,t = 5.306, P ＜ 0.01]. ② No new arrhythmic types appeared, and case of malignant serious cardiac arrhythmias were not increased. ③ Six months after transplantation of BMSCs, there were totally 9 patients with cardiac function of grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ, while there were 18 patients before transplantation. ④ The whole transplantation was safe.No patients were found to undergo re-examination of coronary arteriongraphy, which showed stent necrosis, due to chest pain, and no dead cases were either found.CONCLUSION:It is feasible to treat ischemic cardiomyopathy by percutaneous coronary transplantation of BMSCs,which can boost LVEF and improve cardiac function after transplantation.

Objective To find some risk factors correlated with test anxiety of middle school students,and to find out influencing pathway for test anxiety. Methods 647 middle school students were investigated with Sarason' Test Anxiety Scale (TAS), Achievement Motivation Scale (AMS), Coping Style Scale for School Students ( CSS), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire( EPQ), Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforrestran(EMBU) and Family Environment Scale-Chinese Version(FES-CV). Statistics were done with version of SPSS14.0,and data were analyzed by Pearson correlation, multiple linenear stepwise regression and path analysis. Results The rates of test anxiety respectively was mild 25.97% ,moderate 45.65% ,severe 28.38%; there were no significant different between the male and female students anxiety ( 16.71 ± 6.44,17.01 ± 7.02, t = 1. 469, P = 0.334). Enter test anxiety regression equation is the reached motivation of competition,emotional expose,organization, psychosis, Neuroticism, parent's warm and understanding , mother's refuse and deny ( t 1-7: 2.496,2.521, -2.687, -2. 150,3.503,2.237,2.259; P1-7 =0.001 ～0.038). Conclusion Test anxiety is commonly find in middle school students. Test anxiety is affected by some paths that are personality,achievement motivation,emotional coping style,family environment and parental education methods.

Due to the irregular of diet and overfeeding greasy and surfeit flavor closely associated with hyperuricemia disease, the lipid emulsion containing high cholesterol was used to model. To obtain a more stable and sustained animal model for the efficacy evaluation of traditional Chinese herbs, we observed the influence on the serum uric acid of rat induced by the lipid emulsion compared with high purine diet. 36 SD male rats were randomized to the normal control group, high purine diet group and lipid emulsion group respectively. The general behavior, body weight and daily food intake of rats were observed. The orbital blood was taken to separate into the serum and 24 hours urine was collected. The serum indexes such as UA, BUN, Cr, ALT, AST, TC, TG, LDL-c were determined every 2 weeks, and XOD, ADA enzyme activity were determined at the 4th week. The urine indexes such as UA, Cr and Cua/Ccr were determined at the 4th week. After stopping modeling, the serum UA were determined two weeks and four weeks later respectively. At the 2nd week, the body weight and daily food intake of rats in the lipid emulsion group reduced significantly, and the level of serum UA, BUN, Cr, TC, LDL-c, ATL, AST raised significantly meanwhile TG reduced. At the 4th week, the serum UA in high purine diet group did not raise, and the serum XOD raised obviously while ADA did not; the serum UA in lipid emulsion group was higher significantly, and the serum XOD and ADA raised while Cua/Ccr reduced obviously. At the 6th weeks, the serum UA in both the high purine diet group and lipid emulsion group raised obviously. After stopping modeling, the serum UA in lipid emulsion group still maintained a high level at the 2nd week and back to the normal level at the 4th week. Compared with high purine diet, the hyperuricemia model induced by lipid emulsion forms earlierand more stable. It maybe has great value to study the pharmacodynamics of traditional Chinese medicine treatment to hyperuricemia disease. Its mechanism may be related to increasing XOD and ADA enzyme activity which can promote uric acid synthesis, meanwhile inhibiting of uric acid excretion.

Objective To study effects of oxycodone post-operative early analgesia on stress re-sponse with in diabetics undergoing uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP).Methods Eighty patients undergoing UPPP,53 males,27 females,aged 28-65 years,ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ were randomly divided in-to two groups(n =40).1 5 minutes before the end of the operation,group O was intravenously given oxycodone 0.07 mg/kg;Group F fentanyl 0.7 μg/kg.The patients of the two groups were sampled venous blood 3 ml in the morning of operation (T1 ),postoperative 1 hour (T2 ),postoperative 3 hours (T3 )for determination of serum cortisol (Cor),serum insulin(Ins),serum C-peptide(C-P)u-sing electrochemical luminescence method.Results Cor at T2 ,T3 was lower than that at T1 , C-P was higher than that at T1 (P <0.05)in group O,respectively;Cor at T2 ,T3 was higher than that at T1 , respectively,C-P was lower than that at T1 (P <0.05);Cor in group F was higher than that in group O,C-P in group F was lower than that in group O(P <0.05).Ins at T2 ,T3 was lower than that at T1 and was lower than that in group O(P <0.05).Conclusion Oxycodone 0.07 mg/kg early analgesia for UPPP significantly inhibits the occurrence of stress response.
