1.Synergic liver protection effects of Ginsenoside Rg1 and Oxymatrine and its mechanism

Objective To observe the liver protection of Ginsenoside Rg1 and Oxymatrine and research its mechanisms.Methods Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) model was induced by high-fat diet and hepatic fibrosis(HF) model was caused by CCl4 in rats. Protection effects of Ginsenoside Rg1, Oxymatrine and the combination were obsrved.ResultsBoth Rg1 and OMT significantly reduced serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and aspartate amino transferase (AST) levels of NAFLD rats[Rg1 group (2.76±0.22) mmol/L,(1.24±0.17) mmol/L,(112.39±12.91)U/L, (195.16±12.99) U/L; OMT group (2.35±0.19) mmol/L,(1.09±0.09) mmol/L,(90.57±10.25) U/L, (186.45±13.14) U/L,P<0.05 or 0.01],elevated liver PPARα mRNA and PPARγ mRNA[Rg1 group: (0.64± 0.05),(0.77±0.07);OMT group(0.67±0.07),(0.73±0.06),P<0.05 or 0.01] and alleviated the degree of fatty liver. The effects of the combination group[(1.87±0.21) mmol/L, (0.77±0.10) mmol/L,(58.78± 8.87)U/L,(149.78±11.27)U/L,(0.81±0.09),(0.89±0.05) ] was better than single treatment group (P<0.05 or 0.01). Both Rg1 and OMT significantly reduced the serum ALT, AST levels and liver methane dicarboxylic aldehyde(MDA)content[Rg1 group: (46.75±5.11) U/L,(147.53±7.31) U/L,(5.54±1.06) nmol/g; OMT group:(148.24±4.32) U/L, (93.90±14.22) U/L,(5.85±0.91) nmol/g,P<0.01] in HF model[Rg1 group: (146.75±5.11) U/L,(147.53±7.31)U/L,(5.54±1.06)nmol/g; OMT group:(148.24±4.32) U/L,(93.90±14.22) U/L,(5.85±0.91) nmol/g,P<0.01], enhanced liver SOD activity[Rg1 group:(91.61±9.26) U/mg prot; OM group: (86.19±8.51) U/mg prot,P<0.01] and reduced the semi-quantitative score [Rg1 group:(2.7±0.4); OMT group:(2.9±0.5),P<0.05 or 0.01], the effect of the combination group[(92.21±4.36) U/L,(52.08±7.56) U/L,(3.68±0.54) nmol/g,(99.67±13.13) U/mg prot, (1.2±0.4)] was better than single treatment group.Conclusion Ginsenoside Rg1 and Oxymatrine had synergic of liver protection and the synergic regulation of liver PPARα, PPARγ and antioxidant effect, which should be the potential mechanisms.
2.Clinical study of onlay treatment of cracked teeth with vital pulp

Objective To investigate the effect of cobalt chromium alloy onlay on the direct repair of cracked vital pulp teeth with the resin compostie filling and porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM ) crown repair as the control .Methods 201 cracked vital pulp teeth from 201 cases were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the clinical symptoms :mild discomfort at occlusion (group A) ,pain at occlusion accompanied with transient pain to cold or hot stimulation (group B) and pain at occlusion accompanied with continuous pain to cold or hot stimulation(group C) .The cracked teeth directly were restored by the resin composite filling ,cobalt chromium alloy onlay and PFM crown repair and the effective rate in each group was observed after 2-year follow up .Results The effective rate of the group A ,B and C were statistically significant different from each other (P<0 .05) .The effective rate of the co-balt chromium alloy onlay and the PFM crown was statistically significant higher than that of resin composite (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The direct repair with cobalt chromium alloy onlay is an effective repair method for the cracked vital pulp teeth with mild discomfort at occlusion and mild pain accompanied with transient pain to cold or hot stimulation .
3.Establishment and effectiveness of school-based nursing training bases

Objective To explore the establishment and effectiveness of school-based training bases.Methods Two hundred forty-six nursing students having finished theoretical learning and possessing into clinical practice were divided into the control group(n=121)and the observation group(n=125).The control group received the conventional training in out-school training bases and the observation group in the school-based training bases.The two groups were compared in terms of creative thinking and the performances of nursing theory,manipulations and assessed by their teachers.Result The scores on creative thinking and the performances in nursing theory and manipulation in the observation group were both significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05)and the assessment by teachers in the observation group was better than the control group.Conclusion The school-based training base used for nursing teaching can not only improve the nursing theory and manipulation of nursing students but also improve the creative thinking.
4.The significance of clinical feature in the source localization of epileptogenic zone in children with frontal lobe epilepsy

ObjectiveTo investigate the significance of clinical feature in the source localization of epileptogenic zone in children with frontal lobe epilepsy.MethodsThirty children who were diagnosed frontal lobe epilepsy consecutively admitted to the pediatric department of Shengjing hospital from Oct 2010 to Jun 2011 were recruited for retrospective study.All the cases were subject to video-electroencephalogram monitoring.Results Seventy-six episodes with clear origins of the electroencephalogram were monitored in 30 cases,including orbital frontal attack 11 times (14.5%),dorsolateral frontal attack 33 times (43.4%),mesial frontal attack 32 times (42.1% ).The correlation analysis showed that the head and eye deviation (47 times,61.8% ),asymmetric tonic seizures (32 times,42.1% ) and parakinesia seizures (29 times,38.2% ) prompted the focus was located in the dorsolateral frontal and mesial frontal.But there was no significant difference between the two areas ( x2 =10.58,9.67,11.55,P >0.05).The vocalization,manual pedal automatism and emotional seizure prompted the focus was located in the dorsolateral frontal and orbitofrontal;and the emotional seizure was significant differences between the two areas(x2 =38.68,P <0.001 ).Emotional seizure was the characteristic of orbitofrontal attack.Conclusion The clinical features have important significance in the judgment of the source localization of epileptogenic zone in children with frontal lobe epilepsy.The emotional seizure could be considered as the characteristic attack of orbitofrontal.
5.The effect of lornoxicam on the expression of growth associated protein-43 and nerve growth factor in the dorsal root ganglion of rats during the development of neuropathic pain

Objective To investigate the effect of lornoxicam on the.neurological behavior change and the expressions of growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43) and nerve growth factor (NGF) in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) on the peripheral nerve chronic constriction injury (CCI) model of rats.Methods Fifty Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:normal control group (n =5),CCI model group (CCI group),normal saline control group (NS group),and lomoxicam therapy group (L group) ; CCI,NS,and L groups were subdivided into 3 groups according to the different postoperative interval:3,7 and 14 days (n =5 each subgroup),respectively.The right sciatic nerve of rat was to be chronic constriction injure.Group L was given the rat 1.3 mg/kg of lomoxicam every 12 hours; then,the mechanical withdrawal threshold (MWT) and thermal withdrawal latency (TWL) of the rats of CCI,NS and L groups were measured at the different postoperative interval (3,7 and 14 days).After that,the DRG to the injured sciatic nerves were harvested.Immunohistochemistry was used to examine the expressions of GAP-43 and NGF.Results Comparing with the normal group,the latencies of MWT and TWL at CCI,NS and L groups were significantly declined at the third,seventh and fourteenth day after surgery (P < 0.05),and the expressions of GAP-43 and NGF in DRG of CCI,NS and L groups were significantly increased after surgery (P < 0.05).Comparing with the CCI group,the MWT and TWL of group L were significantly increased at the same time subgroup (P < 0.05).The expressions of GAP-43 and NGF in DRG of group L were significantly declined at the same time subgroup (P < 0.05).Conclusions Lornoxicam could relieve the symptoms of heat and mechanical hyperalgesia after sciatic nerve chronic constriction injury.It proved that lornoxicam was effective in the therapy of neuropathic pain.
6.Adult human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells suppresses allogeneic lymphocytes proliferation

Objective To study the immunomodulatory functions of adult human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells in vitro.Methods Adult human BMMSCs were separated with Percoll((1.073) g/ml) and cultured in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium with low glucose containing 10% fetal calf serum.The purity of BMMSCs was identified with the spindle-fibroblastic morphology by microphotograph and the phenotypes were tested by fluorescence-activated cell sorter(FACS).BMMSCs were plated in 96-well plates.After treated with mitomycin,BMMSCs were co-cultured for 72 h with allogeneic lymphocytes isolated from peripheral blood.Effects of MSCs on PHA induced lymphocytes transformation were investigated.The proliferation of lymphocytes was measured by MTT method.Results Peripheral blood lymphocytes proliferation was suppressed by BMMSCs and the inhibition ratio was (60.68%)(P
7.Logistic Regression Analysis of Risk Factors of Antituberculosis Drug-induced Liver Injury

OBJECTIVE:To explore the risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of drug-induced liver injury. METHODS:Retrospective analysis was adopted to investigate 410 pa-tients with antituberculosis treatment,single factor and multi-factor Logistic regression analysis were adopted to analyze the risk fac-tor that may induce liver injury in antituberculosis treatment. RESULTS:Single factor regression analysis showed that gender,hepa-titis history and drinking history were associated with drug-induced liver injury,multi-factor regression analysis showed that female (OR=2.320,P=0.021),hepatitis history(OR=4.332,P=0.006),drinking history(OR=4.512,P=0.003) and malnutrition(OR=3.202,P=0.015) were risk factors of antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury,and the degree of danger was drinking history>hepatitis history>malnutrition>female. CONCLUSIONS:The antituberculosis drug-induced liver injury is mainly affected by fe-male,hepatitis history,drinking history and malnutrition,the prevention of drug-induced liver injury based on related risk factors is helpful to improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
8.Endoscopic sphincterotomy for the dysfunction of Oddi sphincter in postcholecystectomy syndrome

Objective To approach the treatment value of endoscopic sphincterotomy for the dysfunction of Oddi sphincter in postcholecystectomy syndrome.Methods Endoscopic sphincterotomy was undergone in 28 cases with ultimate diagnosis of Oddi sphincter dysfunction after BUS, ERCP , basal sphincter pressure examination and ruled out the patients with retained or recurrent stones,stricture or carcinoma in the bile duct having postcholecystectomy syndrome.Results Symptoms disappeared completely after the treatment in 18 cases,alleviated apparently in 5 cases and other 2 cases after the second treatment,without alleviation in 3 cases,the effective rate is 89.3%(25/28).No severe complication happened.Conclusion It is assumed that endoscopic sphincterotomy is a micro-traumatic,safe and effective treatment for the dysfuction of Oddi sphincter in postcholecystectomy syndrome.
