Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2007;0(01):-
[Objective] To explore part of mechanism of Qizhu Jianzhong Decoction treating gastric ulcer and spleen Yang deficiency, impersonally state the scientific connotation of the decoction. [Method] Randomly divide 60 SD rats into normal/ blank control group(Ⅰ), model group(Ⅱ), sucralfate group(Ⅲ), large-dosage group(Ⅳ), middle-dosage group(Ⅴ) and small-dosage group(Ⅵ) of Qizhu Jianzhong Decoction. Except for the group Ⅰ, others are made into rats model of spleen yang deficiency and gastric ulcer with abnormal diet, fatigue, cold and bitter purgation, and cold water stimulant. After being administered medicines, measure their IL-6 and GAS level, and observe the pathological changes of gastric mucosa under microscope. [Result] Compared with group Ⅰ, in the model group, the IL-6 rose, GAS decreased; compared with the model group, other groups of Ⅲ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ all markedly decreased rats serum Ⅱ-6 level and increased GAS level, with obvious difference(P0.05). Under microscope, the gastric mucosa injury degree was less in groups Ⅲ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ than group Ⅱ; and it was similar between group Ⅵ and group Ⅱ. [Conclusion] Groups Ⅳ and Ⅴ have marked cure effect on spleen yang deficiency and gastric ulcer, and group Ⅵ has no obvious cure effect.

Chinese Journal of Microsurgery 2000;0(03):-
Objective To design a new presigmoid translabyrinthine keyhole approach assisted by Stryker neuro-navigation system according to the keyhole idea, and observe microscopic anatomy structures, which could be.regarded as the bases of this approach in clinical application. Methods Navigation data were established on 8 cadaveric heads fixed by formalin and perfused intracranial vessels with colored silicone. A 7-cm postauricular C-shaped skin incision as we reported was performed. After elevating the skin flap and musculofascial flap,a 3.5 cm?3.0 cm bone window was made.On skeletonizing the sigmoid sinus, bony lab- yrinth and the canal for facial nerve, the presigmoid retrolabyrinthine, partial labyrinthectomy with petrous api- cectomy, translabyrinthine keyhole approaches were simulated in turn. The length of important structures ex- posed and the angle of vision were measured step by step, and the anatomic structures were observed.Re- suits The approach-correlated bone could precisely be drilled with the aid of neuro-navigation,which could avoid the bewilder in drilling process. The angles of visual field, the length of clivus andⅦcranial nerve were significantly increased after partial labyrinthectomy with petrous apicectomy or all labyrinth removal, but there were no significant difference between partial and all labyrinth removal. The retrolabyrinthine keyhole approach spares hearing and facial function but provided for limited window of petroclival region exposure. The partial labyrinthectomy with petrous apicectomy keyhole approach provided wider exposure to petroclival region,cere- bellopontine angle, prepontine region and posterior cavernous sinus;an area between theⅢ-XI cranial nerves was easily visible with an excellent chance of hearing and facial nerve preservation. The translabyrin- thine keyhole approach, producing more morbidity, provided for greater versatility in treating lesions, added little exposure of petroclival region. Conclusion The presigmoid translabyrinthine keyhole approach, which could provide excellent exposure of the petroclival region, was feasible to be performed in our study. The ap- proach-correlated bone could be precisely removed assisted by neuro-navigation system. The exposure was oh- viously increased hy partial labyrinthectomy with petrous apicectomy or all labyrinthine removal, the former provided an excellent chancre of hearing and facial nerve preservation.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(06):-
Rapeseed oil is one of the major raw materials for biodiesel production. The bottleneck of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production at present is high cost of raw materials, which generally accounts for about 75% of total production cost. Current status and principal problems concerned in the production of biodiesel from rapeseed oil in China and other countries were introduced, based on which it was proposed to grow high-erucic acid rape in existing winter fallow fields and jointly produce biodiesel, erucic acid and its derivative products, and other highly valuable by-products such as glycerin and sterols from high-erucic acid rapeseed oil. The feasibility of this development strategy was analyzed in terms of product and market demand potential, economic benefits of enterprises, techniques and conditions of production, and source of raw materials. It was believed that the implementation of the strategy in China was of great significance in realizing rise and sustainable development of rapeseed oil-based biodiesel production, improving quality of biodiesel, promoting the development of biochemical engineering and many other industries, as well as in building a socialist new countryside.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(02):-
Objective To study the effect of TBTCl on the immunity of mice. Methods The mice were randomly divided into 5 groups, namely groups of negative control, low dose (0.8 mg/kg), moderate dose (4 mg/kg), high dose (20 mg/kg) and positive control. Gavage was employed to administrate TBTCl to mice for two consecutive weeks, the number of T-lymphocyte in blood and invert ability of T-lymphocytes in spleen, hemolysin in serum, clearance exponent and viscera quotiety were determined to study the effect of TBTCl on immunity of rats. Results Compared with the control, no significantly increased T-lymphocytes were seen in low dose group, in moderate dose group the number of T-lmphocyte and the production of hemolysin increased, no obvious changes in the clearance exponent and viscera quotiety were seen. In high dose group, a significantly decreased T-lymphocytes, the clearance exponent and viscera quotiety were observed. Conclusion Low level TBTCl exposure may stimulate the immune system of mice, high exposed to TBTCl may intensively inhibit the immune system.

China Oncology 2006;0(08):-
Background and purpose:Curcumin is the major effective component of curcuma, curcumin has been noted to be able to selectively inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in tumor cells. Interferon-?(IFN-?) is one of the most important cytokines used in clinical treatment nowadays. This study was made to investigate the inhibitory effect of interferon-?(IFN-?)and curcumin on Raji cells (B-NHL) and discuss their mechanism. Methods:The variations of morphology of Raji cells were observed in culture medium after being treated by IFN-?(500,100,2000U/L) combined with various concentrations of curcumin (6.25,12.5,25?mol/L), cells were incubated with the compounds for variable times. The inhibitory ratio was measured by MTT assay, apoptosis was quantitated by flow cytometry(FCM) and the expressions of caspase6, caspase8 and caspase9 in Raji cells were detected by Western blot. Results:both IFN-? and curcumin could significantly induce apoptosis and inhibit the proliferation of Raji cells, synergistic effects were found if cells were treated by the combination of IFN-? and curcumin. The overexpressions of caspase6, caspase8 and caspase9 in Raji cells could be observed in a time-and dose-dependent manner. Conclusions:The combination of IFN-? and curcumin could synergistically inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis, and its potential mechanism is probably associated with upregulating the expressions of caspase6, caspase8 and caspase9 in B-NHL Raji cell.

Aim To investigate the effect of Trichostatin A(T SA)on histone deacetylase (HDAC1) and P21 WAF1/CIP1,cyclin dependent ki nase inhibitor,in NB4 cells for exploring the underlying mechanism of TSA in an ti-leukemia.Methods The total proteins and P21 WAF1/CIP1 mRN A were extracted from acute promyelocytic leukemia NB4 cells treated with or wit hout TSA of different concentrations at different time points,Western blot anal ysis was performed to determine the level of HDAC1 and P21 WAF1/CIP1 protei n,respectively, and RT-PCR was performed to detect the level of P21 WAF1/CI P1 mRNA.Results (1)The level of HDAC1 was obviously inhibited by TSA,and had decreased at 4 hours at IC 50 and lasted for 48 h. The inhibi tion of HDAC1 was significant at the TSA concentration of 37.5 nmol?L -1 , but there was no difference between 75~300 nmol?L -1.(2)The levels of P21 WAF1/CIP1 mRNA and protein were up-regulated by TSA in dose-and ti me-dependent manner, and mRNA increased in 8 h,but the P21 WAF1/CIP1 prot ein was detected at 12 hours and lasted for 48 hours. Conclusion TSA could inhibit the level of HDAC1 and enhance the expression of P21 WAF1/CIP1 protein and mRNA,and the results suggest that inhibiting HDAC1 and increasin g P21 WAF1/CIP1 may be one of the possible mechanisms of anti-leukemia by TSA.
