Objective To compare the effect of the different operation for mammary duct fistula (MDF). Method The clinical data of 85 cases of MDF were analysed retrospectively. Continuous section examinations between the multiple fistula was performed in 3 cases undergoing breastectomy.Results Among the 85 cases with 146 MDF, the opening located within 5cm around areola in 129 cases. MDF incision was performed on 38 cases, 34 cases cured, 4 cases recurred;MDF resection was performed in 44 cases, all the 44 cases were cured;simple mastectomy was performed on 3 cases of extensive breast inflammation,all the 3 cases cured. Conclusions Most of MDF occurs in main mammary duct. Most of the opening of MDF are around the areola. MDF incision or resection is the first choice of operation.

Objective To review the clinical operation methods of abdominal incisional hernia. Methods Classification, operation method and fellow-up of 78 patients with abdominal incisional hernia were retrospectively analyzed. Results The average time of fellow-up was 26 months. Nineteen cases were repaired with simple suture with 3 cases (15.8%) recurrence, 57 cases were repaired with man-made material with 2 case (3.4%) recurrence. Conclusions Individual operation method should be chosen according to body condition, classification of the size of abdominal loss and abdominal hypertension. It is an effective method to repair the hernia of abdominal incision with man-made material.

OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of taspine hydrochloride (TA/HCl) on skin wound healing in rats and its mechanism. METHODS: Bilateral round wounds were made on the backs of SD rats. The effect of TA/HCl on the skin wound was evaluated through determining closure time and contracting ability of the skin wound, observing histopathological characteristics and measuring contents of hydroxyproline (Hyp) and protein in the wound tissue. RESULTS: The closure time of the skin wounds was significantly shorter in the TA/HCl-treated groups than that in the model group. The percentages of wound contraction were higher in the TA/HCl-treated groups than that in the dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) control group of the same group (P<0.05 or P<0.01) on the 3rd to 14th days after wounding. The content of the protein in the wound tissue in the TA/HCl-treated group (2 mg/ml) was higher than that in the model group (P<0.05) on the 3rd to 7th days after wounding, and it arrived at the peak on the 7th day and gradually decreased to the normal level in skin tissue on the 14th to 21st days after wounding. The contents of Hyp in the wound tissues in the TA/HCl-treated groups were higher than that in the model group (P<0.05 or P<0.015) on the 3rd to 21st days after wounding, and they arrived at the peak on the 14th day and at the normal level in skin tissue on the 21st day. Histopathological test results showed that TA/HCl could promote the formation of newly born capillaries in the early period of the wound healing. CONCLUSION: TA/HCl has the ability of promoting skin wound healing in rats, and it can also accelerate the growth of newly born capillaries and raise the production of protein and collagen in wound tissue.

BACKGROUND:Naringin can increase bonemorphogeneticprotein 2 gene expression and promote the proliferation and differentiation of multipotential stem cel line. In vitro cel experiment indicates that naringin can suppress osteoclast formation and anti-osteoporosis activity.
OBJECTIVE:To prepare a mouse calvarial bone culture model containing naringin and to observe the effect of naringin with different concentrations on the formation and function of osteoclasts.
METHODS:Calvarial bone was dissected out aseptical y from the 4-day-old Sprague Dawley mice, and cultured in the culture medium containing 0, 1, 10 and 100 mg/L naringin. The effects of naringin on the number of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive osteoclast marker enzyme in calvarial bone and the concentration of calcium in the culture medium were detected after cultured for 1, 3, 7 and 10 days.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After cultured for 1 day, the number of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive cel s in calvarial bones and the calcium concentration in the culture medium had no difference between the groups. After cultured for 3 and 7 days, the number of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive cel s was decreased and the calcium concentration was increased with the increasing concentration of naringin. At 10 days after culturing, this trend was most obvious. It showed that naringin could affect the number and function of tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase-positive cel s in calvarial bones, and this effect showed a significant time-and dose-depend manner. The results show that naringin can not only promote the proliferation of osteroclasts, but also reduce the differentiation of osteoclasts or accelerate the apoptosis.

This study was aimed to optimize Qinshuang particle best spray granulation process conditions. The or-thogonal test method was used with grain yield and baicalin transfer rate as the inspection indexes. The main in-fluence factors of Qinshuang particle spray granulation process were investigated. The results showed that the best technological parameters are atomization pressure of 1 800 Pa, inlet temperature at 90°C - 100°C, outlet temper-ature at 50 ° C - 60 ° C , and the extract relative density of 1 . 10 ( 60 ° C ) . It was concluded that the reasonable pro-cess conditions make particles with stable quality, which provide the experimental basis for industrial production.

Objective To study the correlation between micrometastasis and human manmmaglobin mRNA(hMAM-mRNA)in tlle peripheral blood of the patients with breast cancer.Methods Peripheral blood samples were obtained from 92 patients with breast carcinoma,and 20 patients were with benign breast diseases,and 10 patients with other system malignant tumor,and 10 normal healthy volunteers.To identify breast carcinoma cells in periphersl blood,hMAM-mRNA Was amplified from total RNA extracted from whole blood by nested reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(Nested-RT-PCR).The expression of hMAM-mRNA wag contracted to MCF-7 breast cancer cell.Results The hMAM-mRNA wag only detectable in the blood from breast disease patients.Among 92 breast carcinoma patients,40 were nested-RT-PCR positive for hMAM-mRNA.The positive rate was 43.5%(40/92).The expression of hMAM-mRNA in pe-ripheral blood was not correlated with patient's estrogen or pregnant receptor;menstruation state;primarytumour size.The expression of hMAM-mRNA in peripheral blood wag correlated with patient's age:the state of c-erbB-2 and carcino embryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 15-3.Conclusion The hMAM-mRNA in peripheral blood may be indicator of the micmmetastasis of breast cancer.

Objective to develop a rotation monitoring device to monitor animal rotation during experiments.Methods Use serial port controls,USB and rotary encoder et al.modern computer cience,with the combination of traditionally experimental methods and the software designed in VC language.Results A mini animal rotation monitor was developed,which could continuously monitor animal rotation and intelligently display the rotaion.conclusion Statistic analysis of experimental data proofs the rationality and effectiveness of the apparatus.The rotational behavior monitor can play an importance role in research into the pathogenesis of Parkinson's Disease(PD)and screening the anti-PD drugs.

Objective To observe the effects of wild jujube seed decoction (WJSD) on learning memory and the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the activities of supemxide dismutase (SOD) and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in the brain of the pathogeny model rats with sleep deprivation (SD). Methods Levels of learning memory and MDA, and activities of SOD and NOS in rats' brain were assayed after SD induced by made-self multiple platform method ( MMPM), senescence induced by D-galactose, and Yin and blood-deficiency induced by eyclophosphamide and hydrocortisonum. Results After 48 h SD, the levels of learning memory was lower in the model group( ( 108.9 ± 12.5 ) s, ( 89 ± 11.5 ) s, ( 0 ) ) than those in the environmental control group ( ( 47.3 ±4.6)s,(9±1.4)s,(6.5 ±1.2))(( t=4.36,3.18,2.07, P＜0.01＝＝. Conclusion WJSD can improve the disability of learning and memory of the pathogeny rats model, and its one of mechanism maybe involve the reduction of neural cell damage with free radical and NO.
