Objective To apply the theory basis for effectively preventing and treating rotavirus infection by studying on specific humoral immune response in children with rotavirus diarrhea. Methods Seventy-five patients of children (diarrhea group ) and 45 controls (control group) were selected. The antigen and specific antibody in plasma and stool were detected by ELISA method;the type of viral gene was confirmed by reverse transcription PCR method;the expression of mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cell was measured by fluorescent light quantitation PCR method. Results In diarrhea group, rotavirus G typing to G3 dominated, accounting for 77.3% (58/75), P sub-type to P8 mainly, accounting for 82.7% (62/75). Rotavirus-specific antibody titers of plasma in diarrhea group were significantly higher than those in control group, IgA antibody titers of stool increased significantly, not only higher than that in control group and plasma. The percentage of CD19+ cells in diarrhea group [(30.8 ± 7.9)%] was significantly higher than that in control group [(23.1 ± 7.7 )%] (P = 0.009 ). And the proportion of CD4+ cells decreased significantly (P = 0.005 ), the expression level of IL- 12p40 mRNA in the entire process in diarrhea group was significantly higher than that in control group(P＜ 0.01 ). Conclusion Children with acute rotavirus infection early in the immune response to specific humoral immunity, especially mucosal immune to significantly improve the main features.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the antibacterial activity of Extractum Sophorae Flavescentis(ESF) against Staphylococcus epidermidis in vitro.METHODS Determination of antibacterial activity of ESF against 208 strains S.epidermidis was performed by using agar dilution method.RESULTS The antibacterial efficiency of ESF against 208 strains of S.epidermidis was good,and the MIC90 of that against 110 strains of MRSE and 98 strains of MSSE were 1185 ?g/ml and 0.286 ?g/ml,respectively.CONCLUSIONS Extractum Sophorae Flavescentis has strong antibacterial activity against 208 strains of S.epidermidis.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of serum HGF level changes in gastric cancer pa-tients. Methods 60 cases of patients who operatied and clinicopathological confirmed gastric cancer, were detected serum HGF level by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) .40 cases were administered radical gastrectomy,20 cases of patients who had distant metastasis and loss operative chance were detected 7 days and 3 months preopera-tive,postoperative serum HGF level respectively. At the same time 40 cases of chronic gastritis patients and 40 cases of healthy examination people were selected as control group. Results Serum HGF level in patients with gastric canc-er was significantly higher than that of chronic gastritis and normal controls(P <0. 01). The serum HGF level of pa-tients with tumor vascular invasion significantly increased(P <0. 05). The patients with lymph node metastasis,serum HGF level was significantly higher than that patients with no lymph node metastasis(P <0. 05). The serum HGF level of patients with liver metastasis was significantly higher than that patients with no liver metastasis(P <0. 05). The se-rum HGF level of gastric cancer patients whose maximum diameter of the tumor ≥3cm were significantly higher than that maximum diameter of the tumor <3cm(P<0. 05). According to TNM staging of gastric cancer,the serum HGF level of Ⅰ phase and Ⅱ phase patients were significantly lower than that Ⅲ phase and Ⅳ phase patients(P <0.05).The serum HGF level of gastric cancer patients had no significant correlation with sex ,age and histological type(P <0.05). The serum HGF level of 40 cases of patients who were 1 week after surgery were significantly decreased,the patients who were 3 months after surgery were more obvious(P <0. 05 and P <0. 001). Conclusion HGF may play an important role in gastric cancer occurrence and development. The detection of serum HGF level can become an im-portant index for monitoring the degree of gastric cancer and prognosis of patients.

Objective To explore the maternal toxicity and offspring's neurobehavioral effects in Wistar rats induced by exposure to methylmercury during pregnancy. Methods Methylmercury were continuously orally perfued with different doses of 0.00, 0.01, 0.05 and 2.00 mg/(kg?d) to 52 pregnant Wistar rats during the 6th～9th day after conception. The toxicity to maternal rats was observed and general teratology test were carried out. The parameters of physical and neurobehavioral develpment at early stage of 205 offspring were measured and the operant behavior test of 32 offspring was carried out at the age of 10 weeks. The brain's morphology and the levels of monamine neurotransmitter were tested in 24 maternal rats after 5 weeks of the delivery and 24 offspring in 10 weeks old. Double blind randomized design was used in whole experiment. Results No maternal toxicity and offspring teratogenicity were observed. Objective To explore the application effect of home care on the basis of temperament combined with social competence in preschool children with bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 100 preschool children outpatients with bronchial asthma who came to our hospital from January 1 to February 28,2013 were selected with the method of convenience sampling and were randomly divided into observed group and control group with 50 cases in each group.Cases of the observed group were divided into ordinary,middle,and strengthen subgroups according to temperament and social competence.The control group and the ordinary subgroup received routine care interventions,and the other subgroups were given corresponding enhanced care measures.The attack rate of asthma,medical care,quality of life and lung function during one year follow-up were observed and compared between the two groups.Results Within the first six months of follow-up,patients in observed group got better control in acute attacks than the control group [(2.3±0.4) times vs.(3.4±0.3) times,x2=5.710,P＜0.05)].The percentage of forced expiratory volume in the first second and Pediatric Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire scores in observed group were significantly higher than the control group one years later [(86.9±4.6)％ vs.(85.5±3.8)％ and (90.1±7.5) vs.(76.5±8.0),P＜0.05].Conclusions The application of temperament type combined with social competence showed a good practical value in home care for asthma preschoolers.

Objective To study the DNA damage in hippocampal cells of rats induced by 1 800 MHz electromagnetic irradiation. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups, 2 exposed groups and 2 controls.
